Chapter 225 - The Chakra Viyugam!

Kalki speaks clenching his jaw "You are not normal like them. They could die unlike us!"

'This woman! Would she kill me by making me talk endlessly?! I never spoke so much in a single day!

Maya totally forgets that she didn't agree to accompany him, and asks her doubts innocently "Not even a scratch? How could that even possible in a war?"

Kalki nods stating strictly "Yes. Not even a single scratch".

Maya pouts and sighs confused.

'But why am I feeling offended by this? Shouldn't a man protect a woman in war? I didn't like that unwritten rule but why is it getting on my nerves now? He doesn't want Prince Xavier to even get a scratch? Then what about me? Ha! This man is unbelievably unpredictable! I too don't like Prince Xavier to get hurt but isn't this too much? Honestly? I should protect him from even getting scratch when he fights a war?!'

She frowns and states hesitantly "Then you should..." just leave him?

Kalki speaks as if sensing her thoughts "He recently recovered from the poison. Even I ask him to rest, he won't agree to stay here. He knows last time we had a drawback and will accompany us no matter what".

She asks stunned "He doesn't know yet?"

'Then... Is he telling everything prior? Even before his brother?!'

Kalki speaks "He will know now" and looks at the door of his chamber "Xavier".

Maya has no words to say as she didn't even imagine this man in front of her can be this skilful! Even she could hear clearly but her thoughts in her mind didn't even allow to hear Xavier's footsteps approaching the chamber!

Xavier enters the chamber sadly and gazes Maya guiltily.

Maya smiles broadly and her smile fades seeing him not even acknowledging her.

'Why is he... sad?'

Xavier speaks "I will accompany you this time".

Maya frowns 'Is he ignoring me? Why isn't he even looking at me?'

Kalki nods without refusing Xavier as he knows how stubborn Xavier is and speaks "Lead the western battalion and the strategy this time is ... Snake".

Maya gasps in horror "..." 

Xavier explains absentmindedly sensing Maya's fear "It's just the strategy. Not literally".

Maya gulps ".." I too know that but why are snakes everywhere?! Even in this strategy! 

Xavier subconsciously looks at Maya worriedly and speaks "Why don't we let her rest for a while-" She must be tired.

Kalki interrupts "She did rest well and has to know the strategy well before entering the war".

Xavier gets shocked "What?!" and immediately looks at Maya 'War? Is she coming?!'

Maya too gulps as Xavier's shocked tone made her nervous for some weird reason.

Both suppress their fear and looks at Kalki

Kalki starts explaining them "There will be three layers of barriers for us. If we break in successfully, we can reach our battalions which I sent in disguise. Victor will gather them after we successfully pass through the third barrier".

Xavier nods in agreement and speaks "He must be scared to sit in the centre of his battalion like this. We shouldn't leave a chance now. If Imperial Court keeps a hearing we can't do anything after that. We need to defeat them before the Imperial Court arrives here".

Kalki nods "We will. We just have to pass through these barriers and capture-"

"It's not simple like you think".

Xavier "..."

Maya speaks looking at the miniatures keenly "Chakra viyugam?".

'How could this even possibly happen?! It's definitely Chakra viyugam!'

Xavier asks clueless "Chakra... what?"

Kalki darts his eyes over the miniatures more keenly but his ears never ignored anything.

Maya states looking at Xavier seriously "A long-forgotten War Strategy"

Kalki's eyes glinted something as if he got what he needed!

She points the miniatures arranged and gasps "It's simply a situation of Chakra strategy with a slight difference. T-This might destroy your soldiers without a real fight -"

Xavier too asks curiously "What is that?"

He knows Maya is skilful than he thinks but he never thought she knew even War strategies!

Maya speaks "The enemy would keep his soldiers around him like a wheel to protect himself from all sides which will look like he is defending".

Xavier asks "Then, they are scared-"

Maya shakes her head "No!"

Kalki now looks at Maya eagerly as he too wants to know more about this Chakra strategy. He too thought that The Southern Realm was defending themselves by this strategy at first but he sensed there is more to this when he received information of the soldiers arranged weirdly.

Xavier still insisted "Of course they are defending themselves because they are scared".

Maya denies strictly before speaking "No. It is a mirage of defence so that the opposite battalion will attack them blindfolded. But as soon as your soldiers step in the soldiers in chakra strategy will change their formation to confuse them so that they engulf the soldiers who attacked them. It has many inner traps and tricks according to their arrangement of the soldiers. If we find how they-"
