Needless to say, the bath took longer than it was supposed to be. Both Loriel and Elise were drowned in love after they were reunited, this time, each of them was as much in love as the other.
It was no longer one-sided love for Elise, and for Loriel, he could pour out all the love in his heart to this woman, his fairy, his real first and true love.
They kissed intimately, enjoyed each other's presence and bodies, and made sweet love all through the night, from bath to bed.
For the first time in their life, Elise and Loriel were making love with love, having the full knowledge and understanding of who they were and what the other person meant to them.
Loriel felt like he was reborn and given a second chance in life, love, and everything. He was really grateful and he vowed to never take anything for granted.
Being alone and lonely for 15 centuries made him value Elise more than anyone could ever imagine.
"I love you, wifey," he whispered huskily when he rolled to the side and pulled her into his embrace. "I can't wait to spend the rest of forever with you."
"Hmmm… I love you too," Elise muttered so softly. Her energy was drained after vigorous lovemaking with Loriel earlier. It was oh so amazing. There was nothing like makeup sex after such emotional rollercoaster events that shook their relationship.
Now, she was tired and wanted to snuggle in his embrace. Loriel gently pulled her and turned her around to face him, so he could admire her sleeping face.
Elise was truly the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, even after more than fifteen centuries.
Her long curly lashes fluttered during her sleep, and her soft breath felt warm on his naked chest. Loriel couldn't understand how he could be this lucky to land this sweet and amazing woman as his wife.
He watched her drifting to sleep and he planted small kisses on her forehead and her hair. Then he wrapped his arms more tightly on her back.
Loriel hoped Elise would get pregnant again and they could become parents together. They would enjoy the process from beginning to end and welcome another child into this world.
This time, they would do things right.

After both Elise and Loriel made a decision to start over, what happened afterward were nothing but blissful days for the couple. The two were so incredibly happy together and spent each day with all the love they had for each other in the open.
Elise padded out of their room sleepily and rubbed her eyes. After so much time in the bedroom, she was actually surprised to see that Loriel was already awake so early.
The handsome man was only wearing boxers and was shirtless, showing his chiseled chest and sick-packed abdomen. He tied an apron against his waist and was busy cooking in the kitchen.
"What would you like to eat for breakfast, Elise?" Loriel asked as he was frying some eggs over a pan. One could smell the fragrant scent of sizzling bacon and sausages in the pan right next to it.
Elise yawned a bit and stepped towards her husband and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "What are you making, honey?"
Loriel couldn't help but grin at his wife's affections. "I'm currently making an English breakfast. Bacon, fried egg, sausage, mushrooms, baked beans… and well everything. But I can also make something else if you wish. I didn't want to wake you up so I made this first."
"I can make the tea or coffee," Elise offered with a smile. "I'm already good with what you're making."
"I'd appreciate it if you could make me tea. That would be lovely," Loriel kissed his wife on the lips.
"Mmm… Loriel, you might be burning the egg." Elise broke off the kiss and chuckled. She made her way to get a teapot and filled it with water and a bag of tea. Just like in the past, she didn't need the stove to heat the water.
Loriel finished cooking and soon the two settled for breakfast at their dining table. Pott and Pebble scrambled sleepily from their basket bed and prowled to the couple and happily purred and mewled for some food.
Their household robot prepared the kitten's meal and soon the two were happily eating in the corner of the room while Elise and Loriel chatted during their breakfast. Elise happily ate the eggs and complimented her husband.
"Your cooking is really great now, Loriel." Elise smiled. "I suppose fifteen centuries of being by yourself has now taught you how to be a master chef. Now I get why the restaurant food is nothing compared to your cooking."
Loriel chuckled and took a sip of his tea. "And yet I'm confident that everything that you make will be infinitely better than mine. Thank you for the tea, this brings back a lot of memories."
Elise blushed. "Over our first time?"
"A lot of our times together after sex," Loriel smirked a little as he placed the cup back on the table. "I have to admit that I look forward to your cup of tea besides our times together in bed."
Elise rolled her eyes and only chuckled. "Similar to how you also started to pretend to have migraines just so I would take care of you? I actually believed that my powers weren't enough to heal people but no, you were actually faking it."
Loriel coughed. "Well, I was too much of an idiot to admit it aloud that I wanted you to be with me. I had to make my excuses."
"I'm just happy that it has brought the two of us together." Elise smiled warmly at him.
This time, the two made a decision to communicate with each other properly and for there to be no more misunderstandings between them.
In the past, Elise did not want to trouble Loriel or even make him uncomfortable.
She made sure that between the two of them, Loriel was seen as the strong, powerful, and dependable king and besides using fire powers to heat up their tea or simply tend to the garden of the late Queen Maude, Elise was meek and didn't use them.
However, right now, Elise was so much bolder and more open than she was in the past. Whether it was because her time in this age helped make her blossom into a more outspoken woman, or she was actually always like this… Loriel loved her either way.
He was happy that their relationship was stronger than ever. There were a couple of things that were on the mind of the two and they started to discuss it as well.
Elise and Loriel didn't look or pay much attention to the television, but it was obvious that his time in Antarctica did a number on the world.
"If I hadn't been there to stop you, would you and Dante really have destroyed the world and thrown it into chaos?" Elise shook her head lightly as she finally turned on the television and cuddled with Loriel once again on the sofa.
This time, Loriel's head was resting on Elise's lap exactly like their past and she was massaging his forehead idly. Loriel looked up guilty at Elise and shrugged. "I'm pretty sure that someone would have prevented it. There are a lot of other gods and immortals."
"Yes, I guess so…" Elise pursed her lips and sighed in relief. "I'm glad that both the Sanderman Group along with other esteemed companies are moving forward and helping out in the rehabilitation of New York and other places that were struck by calamities."
"Don't worry about it," Loriel cupped his wife's cheek. "People are very resilient. I think Marc is still making people attend their work in the company despite the storm that I conjured here."
Elise's expression shifted. "Wow, I didn't expect that he'd be that strict with his employees. But ah, it means that I've also missed work for at least a week or two now."
Loriel's brows raised. "Huh? You still have the intention to work there?"
Elise chuckled. "What if I say yes? Will you stop me? We're now living here in the modern age and I also want to get a job. You're not going to still ask me to stay at home and live like I was before? I don't need to be treated like a princess inside of a castle, Loriel."
