Chapter 422 - Emmelyn Knows Many Handsome Men

Name:The Cursed Prince Author:
This show made Emmelyn gasp. She was so impressed. Kira was truly a good fighter. Even though she didn't have a big muscular body like those strong men, Emmelyn could see that Kira had speed and her slender body consisted of true muscle.

She was agile and dangerous. With just her bare hands, she could fight six men easily. Emmelyn was interested in seeing how much greater she was once she used her sword.

Unknowingly, she rose from her seat and watched more closely. If Kira was really this formidable, Emmelyn would love to hire her as her companion to go to Summeria and later Myreen.

The first reason was, she could trust having a woman around her because Kira wouldn't try to sexually harass her. Well.. unless she swung that way, which Emmelyn doubted.

The second reason was, Kira reminded her of herself. Maybe she just wanted to have an adventure and fall in love in the process? Surely that could happen when they traveled together since Emmelyn knew several good-looking and formidable men she could match her with.

Actually, she was thinking of Edgar when she saw Kira. Edgar was good-looking, he was also very powerful. Plus, he was currently in Atlantea. If she could lure Kira to go with her with Edgar as the bait... hehehe... it would be really interesting.

Emmelyn always liked Edgar and she thought the man deserved to meet a great woman to anchor his heart. Initially, Emmelyn despised Kira because of her background as a pirate, but after she saw how Kira fought those men, she had grown a respect for her.

"You...! How dare you!!" The first man had got up from the floor when he saw his men sent flying. He picked up a chair and used it to hit Kira.

However, before the chair hit the female pirate, Kira had dodge to the side and jumped to elbow the man's back.

"I told you a poor mouse like you don't stand a chance against me, yet... you don't believe me!" Kira sounded so annoyed when he closed her attack with a swing of her sword. "This should serve as a reminder for your next time."

"Aaaaaaaaahhh!!!"

The man's shrill scream was so scary that many people closed their eyes in shock. Kira had chopped his left hand with a clean swing of her sword.

Emmelyn's eyes bulged when she saw the incident. Kira did her move so lightly and without a change of expression at all. Even Emmelyn felt sick to her stomach when she saw the hand fell down to the floor and the blood spurted out of the cut-off limb.

"Anyone else wants to try to sleep with me tonight?" Kira asked the others with a big smile.

She looked like an angel when she was smiling like this... but for the people who just witnessed what happened, they knew that her outer appearance was deceiving.

This woman was a devil, not an angel.

Out of the other five henchmen, four were still thinking they could win against Kira if they used their swords.

Welp. Wrong move!

Even though there were more of them and each of the men carried a weapon, the pathetic group couldn't even graze an inch of Kira's skin when they tried to attack her again.

In less than five minutes, they all got their punishment, no different from their boss.

The female patrons all shrieked and looked away from the gruesome sights. Emmelyn saw Mary winced her forehead, trying to hold back her vomit, seeing so much blood and five hands on the floor.

Most of the furniture in the diner was damaged beyond repair from the swords slashing or being kicked by the troublemakers.

"Ugh... watch out, you little wench...." the burly man who lost his hand first was so angry, but he didn't dare to come closer.

He hugged his bleeding limb and wrapped it with the hem of his shirt. He stepped back slowly and when he got to the door, the man quickly ran away.

His henchmen quickly followed suit. The diner had turned into utter chaos. Many patrons walked out in disgust. They could not chew their food after what they just witnessed.

Kira wiped her bloody sword on her pants and sheathed it back. She brushed her hands on her shirt and then sat back nonchalantly on her seat. She downed her wine gleefully like she did not just destroy the diner.

"So, you were saying you know men who are handsome and stronger than me?" she asked Emmelyn with a mocking tone.

Emmelyn nodded affirmatively. "I was."

Kira looked her dead in the eye. "Did you not see I just beat the crap out of six men? Are you blind or something?"

Emmelyn was offended by Kira's rude words, but she held back her emotion. She quickly realized that someone who was raised and lived among pirates surely didn't know manners as she did.

Maybe that's just the way Kira spoke, she convinced herself. Inwardly Emmelyn wanted to scold her husband for calling her a girl without manners a long time ago.

Mars should see Kira, then he would know what a mannerless girl was like. Emmelyn was carefree but she was not especially rude nor arrogant, unlike this girl, Kira Grim, over here.

"I don't care if you don't trust me," said Emmelyn flatly. "I am not lying when I told you I have met many handsome and strong men. I know for sure each one of them can subdue you in five minutes. It's not a big deal."

Well... maybe not five minutes, Emmelyn said to herself. After she saw what Kira was capable of, she thought maybe Edgar could beat her in a fight after one hour and Gewen could subdue her in half a day.

Or, it depends... If Gewen could use his charm, like he conquered all those other women, maybe he could even subdue Kira faster than Edgar.

One hour. That was the amount of time needed for him to use his skills to seduce a woman.

The first half-hour, he would make Kira impressed because she was not able to kill him immediately, and in the next half hour, he would seduce her with sweet nothings.

If Kira only lived among pirates and never saw a decent man all her life, perhaps, her standard would be a bit low.

Well, after the first requirement, which was physical strength was met, looks would come second, and Gewen or Edgar could easily charm any woman they wanted with their handsome face and drool-worthy bodies.

Even though Mars Strongmoor was still the best of them all.

Shit!

Emmelyn pinched herself.

Why on earth did she think about her scummy husband? She had managed to distract her mind from him for the past week. Her hatred for him was deep after he chose not to trust her and even sent bounty hunters to capture her.

Jerk.

Kira looked at Emmelyn in amusement. This ugly man was so adamant that he knew handsome and powerful men...

He said MEN, not MAN.

Plural.

Where were those guys? Why didn't she ever see one? All her life, she only met men who were either rude, ugly, or weak.

Of course, it was so hard for Kira to believe Emmelyn that real men who were brave, good-looking, and formidable truly existed.

"All right, I want to know where did you find those guys?" she crossed her arms on her chest, starting to believe Emmelyn.

After Kira thought about it, this ugly man didn't have any reason to lie to her. And even if he did... she could easily give him a proper punishment.

Surely he wouldn't dare lie to her after seeing what Kira was capable of, would he?

Emmelyn wanted to laugh at this question. She thought Kira sounded like a child just now. Yes, she was an adult woman and she could easily kill ten men if she wanted, but she seemed green and inexperienced in human relationships.

Somehow Emmelyn felt intrigued. She wanted to know why Kira was so curious about falling in love. She sounded like a girl who read a fairy tale, got mesmerized by it, and wanted to experience it herself.

Maybe that was the reason she 'took a break from work'? Kira was bored of the pirate life and wanted to have what those noble girls have? A valiant knight in shining armor to love and protect her?

It would be difficult to find such a man in her environment. So, Kira was already doing the right thing by going out of her comfort zone.

However, if she only hung out in taverns and harbors like this, she would only meet pirates, merchants, and lowly knights for hire. Those men that she was looking for didn't hang out here.

No wonder she never found them.

"You have to go to big cities or the capitals of any big kingdoms," Emmelyn advised her. "They have powerful knights and generals in all shapes and colors."
