17 Chapter Seventeen

It's been so long since she last stepped foot into a kitchen. The servants in the kitchen were stunned to see the beautiful Madame and quickly bowed in greeting.

She waved her hand to dismiss them, although they insisted on helping she stubbornly refused with a deadpanned face.

The servants could only cry tears in their hearts and hope Madame wouldn't hurt herself, else they would not hear the end of it from Master.

Who didn't not know Madames position in Master's heart was number one, some even call Master a henpecked husband, all Madames clothes are personally tailored for Madame on Masters orders.

Master always brings souvenirs when he returns to the manor from business trips in order to gain Madames favour. None can deny the fact that Madame captured Masters heart, it was evident in his pampering gaze towards her that was full of love and happiness.

Kagura tied the apron around her waist quickly after having the ingredients brought in front of her by the servants, which she politely thanked gaining the admiration of the servants for her polite attitude despite her rather icy expression.

Not many Masters ever thank servants, moreover the more higher class nobles. So it was understandable the servants felt some admiration for her, a mere thanks meant a lot considering all the hard work they are assigned.

Furthermore their Master although a rather detached and sculpture like man was very good to them, never mistreating them.

Many of the servants were happy hearing of his fondness towards his wife. Unlike some of those arrogant misses from the capital she was very polite, despite her cool exterior she kept to her morals. It was simple really.

If others treated her well, she would return the kindness. However it also goes for people who look for trouble with her.

She already had a dish in mind, from observing her husband during the time they ate she naturally took notice of the foods he liked and didn't.

He seemed to prefer foods that were savoury and spicy rather than sweet. Other than that she also noticed how he left his vegetables untouched, who wouldn't when mountains of greens piled up on her plate.

Sometimes she can't help but think that he's very childish, nonetheless she would just make it so it wasn't noticeable. He shouldn't be so picky, sigh.

Kagura was too focused on cooking she hadn't realised her husbands presence as he watched her skilfully cook.

She served the spicy baked tender chickens on a large plate, two hands wrapped themselves around her figure resting his head on her shoulder. "It looks great" the aroma was stirring his hunger.

"Oh, it's hard to move." Kagura wasn't surprised as she had felt a presence however she didn't mind as she could feel no ill intentions coming from them.

She was struggling to break free from her husbands hold as he laughed into her neck, although determined to keep her in his arms he reluctantly let her go, helping her set the side dishes on the dinner table.

Kagura felt as though her head would grow from being overly praised by him, she was happy to see him enjoying her food and dug in.

*Hello readers, it's been a while since the last update. Also do not come for my grammar below, I just wanted to inform you all on what is currently happening.

So much has happened in just two weeks, two of my uncles passed away due to cancer. A good friend of mines grandfather passed away on her birthday.

Now, the recent shootings in Christchurch done by a terrorist out of hate. My heart goes out to the families whom lost their loved ones and those with gunshot wounds in hospital.

There was also a bomb scare at Britomart where I was supposed to catch my train to go home after university.

The burning of two Mormon Churchs, one in Greymouth and the one in Christchurch.

The bomb threats in Hamilton at a mosque. The mayor and local politicians were present when it occurred.

The disgusting islamophobic comments of Senator William Fraser Anning towards the terrorist attack.

If you have the time please share & sign the petition to have Senator Anning resign from his position. It's sickening that someone like him who holds such authority blames ones religion on the deaths of defenceless people during prayer. Moreover try and support his statement with a bible verse.

The livestream of that Australian terrorist bastard passing (shooting) judgement on our people because they supposedly 'invaded his peoples lands'.

Please do not watch and do not share the livestream video. It is exactly what he wants. Whether your intentions are good or not, you need to take into consideration how the families of the deceased feel.

What I will say about the video is what I've heard from others, I myself have not seen it nor do I want to.

The first man shot during the livestream greeted the terrorist with 'Salam brother'. The man whom shot and killed many was welcomed with open arms. If you still choose to believe that their religion is evil, I suggest, excuse my profanity, you go fuck yourself.

Recently just got ahold of warnings about a bomb found near the City and another in Northlands mall. As well as a shooter at Papanui High School.

Ministry of Education is also asking schools to shut down till further notice.

Polyfest is also cancelled due to the recent incidents.

Lastly but most importantly to my muslim brothers & sisters you are loved! Regardless of our different beliefs this is your home and you have a right to be here! I'm sorry if you don't feel safe here when you should have.
