Months had passed, and a lot had happened during this time at the Yang mansion. One of the major events was Rizie giving birth to a healthy and adorable baby boy and they named it Ran after Dion and Yera's deceased father, Randy.
"He's so cute," Yera commented seeing the tiny baby boy brought by the nurse inside Rizie's private room at Life hospitals.
"Baby Ran hello… I am your aunt," Yera cheered.
Xander smiled and excitedly said, "Soon we'll also see our girls and the boy." Yera nodded. Her due date was next month. She was nervous and excited at the same time.
Unlike Rizie who had a normal delivery, hers was going to be a caesarian section so she could basically pick a desired date next month for her delivery.
Soon, the Lim family arrived to visit Rizie as well, so Xander and Yera left first.
"He looks more like his father," Shane commented and Dion proudly smiled as he held his baby boy. He was now a father.
Where are your parents and grandpa?" Grandma Terry asked since they brought a lot of fresh fruits from the villa and meat as well to give to Dion's family as a gift.
"They were here the whole day yesterday. Mom and dad will come back before lunch while grandpa will stay home and take a rest." Dion informed and grandma Terry nodded.
"Have you hired a babysitter?" Sheila asked Rizie.
"We didn't mom. I would like to attend Ran on my own. Besides, Dion will be happy to assist me," Rizie bragged with a teasing smile.
Sheila looked at Dion, who's so busy talking to the baby in his arms.
"Yeah and he looks too enthralled. Babies are mostly awake at night for the first few weeks after birth, so you two should take turns in feeding him. You're a mother now, Rizie, and I hope I input enough examples of a good mother as you grew which you can use for your child." Sheila commented.
Rizie nodded and whispered, "You're the best mother for me mom and I only hope I can be the best mother as well to our baby."
Sheila held Rizie's hand and said, "Don't worry and just enjoy the motherhood. I'm sure you'll be a great mom and even better compared to me, who knows?"
"Haha, I doubt mom. Actually… I'm nervous and excited at the same time…"
"Look grandma how handsome my Ran is. He's just my carbon copy, I looked exactly like this when I was a kid…" Rizie heard Dion boasted.
She chuckled at her husband. He kept saying baby Ran was his duplicate to whoever visited them, singing praises on how handsome and adorable his baby boy was. Dion had been eagerly waiting for this moment and he looked like a proud and loving father.
Dion finally let go of his baby and let his mother-in-law carry baby Ran into her arms. He walked up to Rizie and muttered in her ear, "I'm really so proud of you, Riz. I love you."
Rizie's cheeks reddened as her heart fluttered. Ever since she woke up, Dion never stopped saying how grateful he was to her for giving him baby Ran well and sound, not to include how strongly she managed her delivery.
He sat on a chair near Rizie's bed while he grabbed her hand and lovingly kissed it. "We should aim for the little Rizie next." Dion candidly commented.
"Shhh." Rizie scolded, but by then everyone had already heard what Dion said.
"I agree with Dion. It would be lovely to have a little Rizie also very soon," Grandpa Shen seconded with a chuckle.
Rizie's eyes rounded as she commented, "Stop it, grandpa. It's not easy to be pregnant, you know." Then she shifted her gaze to Dion and added, "You men will never understand it."
Dion's lips pouted as he defended, "Of course we men understand it very well, especially me. It's not easy for me getting bullied and abused weekly."
Rizie's eyebrows raised as she said, "So now that I gave birth to your son you are voicing out all your complains that you kept during my pregnancy?"
Dion gulped but quickly corrected, "Well, I'm willing to get bullied and abused by my wife all over again as long as I get to have more adorable babies in the end, you see…"
Everyone in the room laughed while Rizie tried her best not to, but failed as she chortled.
"Oh, I suddenly thought of sis Yera. Imagine her having three babies in one delivery... It's very advantageous, like shooting three birds with one stone. But looking at her a while ago I also felt that it must be really uncomfortable walking around like this." Rizie mumbled and Dion agreed.
Yera, in her late pregnancy, had to use a supporter to walk since her belly was too heavy already. She mostly used a mechanical machine chair as well when going out as Xander insisted for her to not walk a lot.
"By the way, guys, we also have good news…" Josh announced, getting the attention of everyone.
Josh had a wide bright smile on his face as he said, "Finally… I'm going to be a father too!!!"
"What? Shane is pregnant?" Rizie burst, her eyes darted on Shane who was sitting on the couch with mom Sheila and grandma Terry who was now holding baby Ran.
Shane timidly nodded. The couple became frustrated as for months they tried every method for Shane to conceive but failed.
"Oh, I told you to just be patient… See?" Grandpa Shen commented.
"Congratulations Shane… I guess you and Josh have worked really hard for it huh?" Rizie commented with teasing, making Shane turn crimson red.Find authorized novels in , faster updates, better experience, Please click #%!d(string=14191303206660205)/he%E2%80%99s-my-carbon-copy%C2%A0_%!d(string=47542864078488091) for visiting.
"Thank you…" Shane answered while inside her head flashed back all the different positions she and Josh had tried to make sure that every lovemaking session would be fruitful.
'How embarrassing…' Shane mused as she unconsciously looked at Josh who roguishly winked at her. She cupped her face that turned hot and red.
Rizie shook her head. Soon the room became more lively when Keira arrived with Zach and their adorable twins.
The twins rushed over towards baby Ran in their grandma's arms after kissing their uncle and aunties.
"Once Lyra and Torin arrive with their son.... Gosh, Rizie's room will be crowded. No wonder Xander and Yera left so soon, knowing Rizie's big family would soon come one by one." Josh commented that made everyone laugh in the room.
Dion smiled contentedly. Like her sister Yera once said, it was true that a big family was far much better, especially if each and everyone in the family were united by love, trust and care for each other.
