Li Shi Ying quickly let Long Ao Zhen force the fairy to save Zhan Jiouli. The fairy who was held captive didn't have any other choice than to touch Zhan Jiouli, and slowly turn him back from a gold statue into a human.

'Ugh…' Zhan Jiouli blinked his eyes slowly when he found himself finally able to move again. All this time he still had his consciousness, but he just couldn't move his body. He felt like being frozen when he still had his consciousness left.

He knew how Li Shi Ying and Xie Mei took care of him when they themselves had to fight other opponents. Especially, Xie Mei, he saw how the girl was really worried about him.

But Zhan Jiouli did! He was still alive! All well without injuries.

'I'm okay…thank you all.' Zhan Jiouli held onto Xie Mei's shoulder, still feeling weak as he thanked Li Shi Ying and the others. He had completely changed his mind on Li Shi Ying right after this incident.

He was wrong in trying to gain more power by harming this girl. In the end, if his lord, Feng Wang Zi, still wanted to snatch Li Shi Ying…he would refuse him even though the risk was him being killed or his baby phoenix would be taken away.

'A golden water lily suddenly appeared and landed on my hand that's how we get chased by the fairy.' Li Shi Ying answered Wei Zhuang's question while looking down to the cute fairy who was holding the golden water lily as if it was her treasure. 

This fairy was surprisingly innocent. She only wanted shiny golden things and while finding it, would occasionally turn anything she liked into gold. This fairy must have chosen Zhan Jiouli because he was handsome.

'So sudden? Are you sure it wasn't another team who threw the lily to your team so they could escape?' Wei Zhuang frowned hearing Li Shi Ying's answer. All of this seemed suspicious.

"Mistress, I did see a figure of another team back then, but the team swam away from our direction so I didn't suspect them before." Jiu Wei suddenly told Li Shi Ying the thing that he saw before.

He was too focused on the fairy that he missed the figure of another team consisted of 3 people. Since those people didn't actually come to their direction, he didn't think too much but now thinking back again…

The fairy chased after them right when the team showed up. Could it be...that team was the one being chased by the fairy before? But then that team threw the golden water lily to them so the fairy would chase them instead?

'So...there is another team who made us bait so they could escape?!' Li Shi Ying's eyes widened in shock realizing this discovery. Back then they were too panicked facing the fairy that they didn't see the other team Jiu Wei mentioned.
