The leader of the pack look at the girl as it glared with its red eyes.
Louise answered it's glare with a lazy tone.
" I can't understand animal language and I'm not into a staring contest. If you want
to say something you have to speak. I also don't mind fighting if you insist."
Gerald looked at Louise as if asking "Can they speak?"
She answered him.
"This is a Mystical Forest so to speak, it doesn't conform to the standard
of 'normal'. Now talk. " she again turn to the leader of the packs.
"A Mage I see." A deep manly voice echoed coming from the leader of the wolves.
Louise did not speak. She quietly waited for the wolf to continue.
"I don't have any enmity on you but..." the wolf suddenly shifted its gaze towards the Duke.
"This man and his group barge into my territory and took something important to our tribe."
Louise looked at Gerald inquiring of what the wolf is talking about. But the Duke simply shook his head and answered.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Hoo..hoo.." the wolf snorted. "Not specifically you but among your men someone took our Mana gem which is very essential to our tribe."
"Then why are you looking for that gem from us. It's not like we stole it." Louise stated.
"He escaped. We just happen to bump into you. That's all." the wolf leader answered nonchalantly.
"That's not what I saw from earlier though." Louise eyes smiled but it contains coldness that can give anyone a shiver. "If you did not discover that I'm a Mage, I don't think we were still standing before you am I right?"
Suddenly, there was a heavy pressure which enveloped all of them. Well, except for the Duke the wolves grimaced from pain including the leader as if they were being crushed.
"I guess you can speak now. Where are they? Where are the people whom you attacked earlier?" Louise asked coldly.
