Ella Lattone's POV

I was staring outside the car as we passed by the traffic in the city. I saw a tour bus and people were walking around. I sighed as I was playing with my rings. The engagement ring and wedding band. I never thought I would be wearing them in 25 years of my existence.

"You look sad. Don't you like the rings that I picked up for you?" Cameron, I mean Cam. I need to get used to being informal with him. He's my husband now, asked me as I was turning to look at him. He smirked at me as I rolled my eyes before I was staring at his left hand. He did not wear any ring.

"If you can make a stop at the Vork's Vow, that would be great," I said bluntly as I felt the fury of other women took possession of my husband.

Wait, what is going on?

'You know you want your claim on him. Just tell him and he will be obliged,' my dark thoughts said before I have another conscious on my mind.

'But he married me because he wanted me to take responsibility,' my mind said as I was shaking my head. Cam looked at me as I was smiling at him.

"If you please?" I said as I was batting my lashes at him. He laughed before he shook his head.

"You are something, Ella," he said before we were moving again. I sighed a relief when I saw the big sign of Vork's Vow in front of us now. Cam parked the car and I got out before him.

"Hey, wait for me," he called after me but I was inside the shop already. I was looking around the shop. It was not that crowded, I mean not everyday people were buying wedding bands or engagement rings.

"Ella, you should have wait for me," Cam said as he was holding my elbow before a salesperson was coming to greet us.

"Welcome, sir, how can I help you?" She greeted Cam as I was glaring at her. I scoffed as she was beaming when Cam was acknowledging her.

"Well—"

"If you don't mind, I would like to see wedding bands for my darling husband here," I said as I was looking at the salesperson. She blinked before she acknowledged me. I smiled as I was locking my hands on Cam's arm.

"Yes, of course. Right this way," she said before we followed her pursuit. I was still holding Cam's arm until he whispered to me.

"If you keep pressing your breasts to me, I might lose control in this shop, Ella," he said as I was losing a bit of my hold until he did not brush my breasts anymore. I turned to glare at him before he smirked at me.

I rolled my eyes at him as we were sitting at the counter stools and the salesperson was taking the wedding bands from the cases. I was looking at the assorted designs of the bands before I picked one and I pulled Cam's left hand.

"Try this one," I said as I was pushing the ring onto his ring finger. I looked at it but I think it was too big for his lean, long fingers. I need something that will compliment his finger and I think I have imagined what I wanted on his fingers.

I have been daydreaming about this for so long.

"I don't like it. How about this one?" I said before I pulled the first one out and slid another. I asked Cam to reflex his fingers but there was no spark for me to look at his fingers. I shook my head before I was taking another and then another, then another, until I found what I was looking for.

"We have tried every design and you still don't find the one that you liked?" Cam asked when I slid off the last band before I turned to look at the salesperson.

"Can you bring the latest exclusive wedding bands?" I asked her as she scoffed before she looked at my attire, the dress shirt that I borrowed from Cam and the pants was also his. She thinks I was not able to pay for it or what?

"I don't think that would be necessary. If I brought it out, you would not able to pay for it," she whispered to me but I know that Cam can hear us. He was about to speak up before I was drawing the platinum card from my phone case. I have been preparing for this moment to show this bitch that I can buy the whole store if I wanted to. But I think uncle Edmond would not be happy about that.

"I think I will be the only judge for that matter. Now," I said as I was staring at her who had paled after she looked at the platinum card that I saved for an occasion like this.

"Will you get the exclusive wedding bands now?" I asked her as she nodded at me before she disappeared from my sight. I was straightening my back as Cam was chuckling beside me. I turned to look at him.

"You don't have to show him that you know,"

"Well, she's being a bitch and I hate a bitch," I said as I was crossing my arms before the salesperson came from the back of the store. She was carrying two trays of the bands that were the latest designs from the company.

"Hmm, how about this one?" I asked as I was pulling the band that was thin and elegant in platinum with studded tiny diamonds around them. Cam took it and wore it before I was admiring the way the diamonds shone on it.

"I don't think I want anything fancy," he said as he pulled the band off his finger. I sighed before I was eyeing the not-so-fancy bands. It was not hard to find.

"How about this one, sir?" The salesperson said as she was giving a common platinum band and Cam took it. I was furious when he smiled and he was reflexing his fingers as I know he liked it.

"Well, I think this one—"

"No, you should have worn this one. It's more of your style," I said as I was picking one random band and shove it to him. He was startled but he took it and he slid off the band that salesperson picked and put the one that I was giving at him.

Cam looked at the band before he turned to look at me with his hand on the air next to his face.

"What do you think, hon? It suits me, right?" He asked as his eyes were gleaming with mischief. I think he knows that I was being jealous of the salesperson to pick my husband's wedding band. Urgh!

"Yeah, it suits alright," I said emotionless as I was looking at the hand that held the sign that Cameron Hayes belonged to me now. I smiled as I turned to look at the emerald eyes that were staring at me. I cleared my head before I turned to look at the salesperson.

"We take that one," I said as I was giving the platinum card and smiled at her. She took it before she went to swipe it and I was looking around.

"You know, I like it when you get all jealous for me, wife," Cam whispered as I felt my face was hot. I think I blushed before he chuckled lowly and he kissed my cheek when the salesperson came to give me the receipt.

"Here you go, ma'am. Thank you for shopping with us," she said as she was nodded at us. I smiled at her before I took Cam's hand and went out of the store with his wedding band on his hand.

Stating that he's mine forever.

My chest was lighter as I know that I have landed a husband and it was the person that I have been crushing for 3 years. I don't know why but I think I have been waiting for this moment, even though our intention for the wedding was all wrong.

We were in front of the car as I went to my side. I wanted to open the door before Cam opened it for me first.

"After you, milady," he said as he helped me to get inside. He was smirking at me before I rolled my eyes. Show off!

I slid inside before he closed the door and he went to his side. The wedding band was glistening in the sunlight before he started the ignition and put on his sunglasses. My breath was stuck in my throat as he smirked and looked at me.

"Now, let's go home," he said as he drove out of the parking and we were off to our destination.

"Home? Where's home?" I asked him as he smirked.

"Well, it's my house of course. We will be staying there since you're my wife now. I have contacted moving crew to locate your stuff and bring them to my house," he said casually as he was driving.

"You did what?!" I exclaimed as he turned at me briefly before he turned to the road again.

"Relax, it was a company that I trusted and I think your stuff will be fine.

"But—"

"No buts. We're married and I will not let my wife live separately from me. Besides, what would my parents think? They know that I am capable to conduct myself and my wife," he said as I scoffed at him.

"Your parents knew?"

"Of course, don't you?" He asked and I turned to look at the outside of the car again, looking at the city passed by when we were going to the Upper Eastside. I don't think I was ready to answer that question yet.
