Lin Ke felt like he had had an incredibly comfortable sleep.

So, how comfortable was his sleep?

All the fatigue and pain in his body had completely vanished.

The agony he felt before fainting had completely disappeared.

However, there seemed to be something heavy pressing onto his chest?

Lin Ke was astonished as he opened his eyes.

A lazy beauty was in his embrace. Her fragrance and warmth did not pique Lin Ke’s interest. In fact, he was so shocked that he almost jumped up.

The most important reason was that she looked rather unfamiliar at first glance.

However, as the beauty rubbed her eyes and sat back up, Lin Ke let out a sigh of relief after having a second look.

She was the new Hero that he summoned yesterday, Perfect Housemaid Alice.

As he had a headache for the entire day yesterday, he had only taken note of her for a brief moment. Furthermore, he noticed that her fringe was hiding her face and this was the reason why he did not recognize her immediately.

“So it’s you. I was wondering who it was.”

Once he knew that she was the Hero that he summoned, the awkwardness within him dissipated. Lin Ke laid on his side as he turned his head to look at Alice, who had just woken up. “By the way, why are you in my bed.”

“My Lord, I was healing your injured soul.”

Alice smiled as she picked up the maid’s attire and wore it.

“An injured soul? Lin Ke’s eyes widened. “I was harmed?”

Then, he recalled that he had fainted. “That’s right. I felt an intense headache before I fainted. Do you know how I was injured?”

“The story goes like this…” Alice told him everything Dra had done in detail. Then, she had even explained on Dra’s behalf. “She doesn’t know what she’s doing at all and that’s the reason why she has caused you harm. The Tough Shield Warrior’s training should be stopped and it’s best that you not do anything during this time. You should spend more time tending to your wound.”

“Tending to my wound? How could I focus on healing up when there are so many things going on?” Lin Ke smiled wryly before looking around and asked Alice, who had gotten out of his bed to adjust her shirt. “Where are the others? I’m sure it’s already day time.”

“They… have done something wrong. Hence, I chased them out to do other things.” Alice softened her voice as she lowered her head. “Dra’s strength is without a doubt powerful and there’s no need to worry about her safety outside. It’s also a good way for her to compensate her for her mistakes.”

“What has she done? She did nothing wrong.” Lin Ke shook his head. “She’s just being kind and didn’t think that something would happen to me. I don’t blame her at all.”

Lin Ke looked at Alice upon finishing his words. He felt that the situation was rather strange. He started scratching his head as if he was missing something.

“Nevermind. Is there any breakfast? I’m quite hungry.”

Lin Ke yawned. As the new day arrived, it was time for him to get to work.

He had fainted quite early yesterday, resulting in him being unable to level up many Facilities and this made Lin Ke’s heart ache badly.

As Alice went out to bring breakfast for him, he took this opportunity to check today’s profit.

After all, he had done a lot of things and built a lot of Facilities yesterday.

One Level 3 Dormitory had been completed. Unfortunately, it was not the one Lin Ke was living in. The Dormitory’s Silver increment was not as he expected; doubling from 2000 Silvers to 4000 Silver. Instead, it was only increased to 3000 Silver.

However, the Silver the Heroes brought was doubled. A Level 3 Dormitory had brought Lin Ke a total of 6000 Silver profit.

The other five Level 2 Dormitories had brought him 20,000 Silver, which made it a total of 26,000 Silver.

The Elemental Core remained the same and there were no surprises at all. However, Lin Ke could not contain his happiness due to the EXP gained.

He was now Level 7 and had 450 EXP Points. All he needed was 50 EXP Points to reach Level 8.

The Daily EXP given from the Level 3 Elemental Tower was 150 EXP Points, which was 3 times more than a Level 1 Elemental Tower. Lin Ke thought that it would keep doubling, and he would be able to obtain 200 EXP Points from it. However, it was obvious that it was just a double increment from when it was Level 1.

As Lin Ke understood the amount of EXP he gained daily, he was clear how much EXP Points he needed in order to level up.

He only needed 500 EXP Points to level up from 7 to 8. Meanwhile, it did not take much time to increase the Heroes’ Level to 10. It was very possible that there was only a 50 EXP Points increment per level before Level 10.

In other words, Lin Ke only required 1,200 EXP Points to reach Level 10.

With his current earning rate of EXP Points of 830, if he were to put in the effort to build more Facilities, perhaps he would reach Level 10 by tomorrow?

Lin Ke pondered as he calculated the possibilities. Soon, he shook his head as it looked rather difficult and would decide later on.

The key problem was whether the Facilities had enough time to finish building.

Despite him needing only 370 EXP Points, he would need to build 18 Dormitories and Elemental Pond. He would need to spend more time leveling them up. It would be difficult to reach his desired result.

Lin Ke decided that he would continue building Facilities at the current rate and level up the day after tomorrow.

After all, it was just an additional day.

Lin Ke could feel the effects of reaching Level 7. The increment in strength was rather small and this was probably because of many factors involved.

Lin Ke would be able to build a Level 4 Elemental Tower when he reached Level 10. He believed that his change would be more obvious then.

He would be able to build more Facilities and his strength would increase as well.

Lin Ke then made the decision to build those Facilities required that day.

Since he now had plenty of money and Resources, he could build any buildings he wanted and there was no need to be thrifty at all.

Lin Ke recalled the 70-Days Daily Login as he was thinking of Resources and money.

He was now able to obtain the sixth day’s reward, which was the Summoning Cards, Resources, and Silver. Hence, Lin Ke decided to obtain them first.

“20 Summoning Cards…” Lin Ke looked at his Inventory. He now had 20 Summoning Cards, but he had no High-level Summoning Card.

“I guess I’ll summon them later. Let’s see if I can obtain a few more partners.”

The quality of Heroes obtained from the Basic Alter was low and Lin Ke was not really interested at all.

However, it was always a good thing to have more Heroes. He did not need to rush at all as the result would be the same if he did it later.

The Daily Login’s rewards were pretty normal. There were not many Resources and only 10,000 Silver.

What was important was the Server Opening Event.

Lin Ke opened the Server Opening Event and obtained the first reward for the fifth day.

Lin Ke did not feel anything when obtaining 50,000 Silver and ten Large Resource Crates. What he had his eyes on was the last reward.

This was the real reward for being number one.

Special Facilities’ blueprint!

Furthermore, it was bound to the Fortress and Lin Ke would certainly obtain a Special Facility from the Elemental Tower. Obviously, this would make anyone excited and curious about what it could be.

As he used the blueprint, a System Notification swiftly appeared before him.

[Congratulations! You’ve obtained a Special Facility – Altar!]
