With help of the strange old man, Rufus, Jarrod and Abbado escaped from the villa successfully.

When the three men arrived at the farmhouse, they saw someone looking out of the window. Yes, it was no other than Cassandra, who was told to stay put.

As soon as she saw Rufus and the other two men come back, Cassandra opened the door and strode towards them.

"Are you all fine?" she asked in concern. For the better part of the night, she had been anxious about what might have happened to them. The scene of Hertha pointing her pistol at Rufus earlier in the day had shaken her so much that it kept replaying in her mind.

"We're all okay," Jarrod answered with a smile at the corners of his mouth. What Cassandra and Rufus had done for him greatly moved his heart. They were not just random two acquaintances to him. Willingly, they put their lives on the line to come to his rescue.

"Cassandra, pack up our luggage, as quickly as you can," Rufus said while looking out to the courtyard. They'd better not stay here long. If Hertha woke up and found Jarrod missing, she might come here to look for him soon. If that happened, they would be in deep trouble.

Cassandra thought he was right. Promptly, she went to pack up their clothes. In a matter of a few minutes, she walked out of the bedroom with their suitcases.

"Where are we going?" she asked in a tensed voice.

Seeing how nervous his wife looked, and well aware that they were safe, Rufus could not help but smile. Half-jokingly, he said, "Don't be so uptight. With a tough guy like me by your side, whoever wants to hurt you must be very afraid."

'He has the strength for his wisecracks, even in such a critical moment like this?' Cassandra blushed, glaring at him.

"Come on. We will find a place to stay," said Rufus, motioning everyone to get in the car which Abbado had brought when he came.

Half on the way, Rufus turned his head around with an unexpected ques

When her sister ran away from the wedding, Autumn was forced to marry Charles.

His name had been linked to innumerable ladies.

He had different girlfriends for every day of a year.

Autumn had never thought that she would fall in love with him.

which he wants to run his life, ' Cassandra thought quietly without replying to his boasting.

Ignoring him, she opened the door by her side and got off the car. "Come follow me, Jarrod," she said as she walked out. However, a second thought occurred to her.

"Where is Jarrod going to stay tonight?" she turned and asked Rufus.

If she did remember well, they had booked only one suite. How were they going to arrange for Jarrod's accommodation?

"I will ask for one more room for him later," Rufus answered, ready to get out of the car.

Hearing the conversation between the newly-weds, Jarrod shook his head. "Just leave the problem to me. I have bothered you a lot already. I feel sorry for that," he said.

At the moment, Rufus had already walked up to the two. Taking a look at Jarrod, wth a light touch, he declared, "Now that you have bothered us already, I wouldn't mind being bothered one more time."

He spoke so straightforwardly that Jarrod really didn't know how to respond to him.

Very fast, he arranged another room for Jarrod. After sending Jarrod to the room, he took Cassandra back to their suite with his arm on her shoulders.

As soon as they entered the suite, he pressed her to the wall and began kissing her passionately. He didn't waste a single minute.
