Cassandra almost felt offended at the way Rufus turned her down.

Staring at Cassandra, Rufus suddenly reached out to pull her into his arms.

A yelp escaped her mouth as she found herself wrapped in the loving arms of her man.

Caressing her little pretty face with his hand, Rufus whispered to the little woman in a gentle voice, "Cassandra, I've missed you so much.

Although, it's only been a few days, I was driven to madness by your absence. I need you all the time in my life."

Then he leaned closer to her and kissed her on the cheek, the forehead and finally on her lips.

"Cassandra, I love you so much." Cassandra rarely heard Rufus utter those words to her.

Rufus did his best to restrain himself from having his way with her as he knew that this was neither the right time nor the place to make love to Cassandra.

"Cassandra, please excuse me for a moment. I need to make a phone call."

When they finally arrived at their villa, Cassandra felt apprehensive, as she stood in front of the bedroom with the door closed.

She was afraid that Rufus would one day lose his mind and lock her in the bedroom again, just like what he had done before.

Rufus could tell why Cassandra was hesitant to go inside. He took her by her wrist and urged her to push the door open.

"Cassandra, don't worry. I will never do what I did to you the last time," Rufus made a promise to Cassandra.

Finding it difficult to trust Rufus and his promises, Cassandra sighed inwardly.

As she didn't want to embarrass Rufus, she smiled at him and then pushed the door open.

The second she entered the bedroom, Cassandra saw a big heart made of rose petals on the bed. She stood there, agap

"Do you know what you did wrong? It's alright if you just wanted to own me. But you should not have helped Molly leave me!"

When Brian learns the truth, there is no chance for Hannah to win his heart.

Molly, who wants to run away from Brian, seems to be the only one to blame for Hannah's misfortune...

n she heard Rufus.

"You're finally awake!" Cassandra looked at Rufus helplessly. "You have been asleep since the evening before. How long haven't you slept?"

Rufus giggled. He just woke up from a nightmare where he had been looking all over for Cassandra in his dreams.

Much to his pleasure, Cassandra was here, right in front of him.

"Are you feeling okay?" Cassandra walked to Rufus and touched his forehead. With a surprising look on her face, she said, "You don't have a fever. Why do you have such a silly smile on your face?"

Rufus didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "Okay, no more jokes. Have you prepared any food yet? Your husband is starving to death."

Cassandra responded slowly, "If you want to eat, go cook something in the kitchen. I'm starving too. Will my dear husband cook for me?"

Rufus immediately jumped out of the bed. He poked her nose with his finger and said, "No problem. Please, wait for a while. Your dear husband is going to cook brunch for you now!"

They met each other's eyes with a smile on their faces. The moment was so sweet and peaceful that they hoped it would last forever.
