The man grinned as he rolled his eyes at Adrian who glared and growled at him. Soon after, he came down from the window and approached Adrian and Edith, shaking his hands.
“Master, you are a bit clumsy. How can I even leave you?”
The man, carefully put on Edith’s bed linen and pushed Adrian out of bed with his eyes shining fiercely.
“If I don’t keep an eye on you, you might get bitten by this dog that the innocent master raised.”
“Go on your way. I said it was none of your business,” Adrian growled at him.
“What can I do?”
The man grinned at Adrian’s low warning.
“I’ve made up my mind, you bastard.”

‘What’s wrong with them?’
I stretched lightly, waking up from a very satisfying dream last night, and found Adrian and slave man glaring at each other as if they were about to tear at each other’s throat.
“Did you two fight?”
The man, who was munching on bread, hit the table with a bang at my stupid question.
“Master, do you even fight animals?”
I jumped at his outburst and asked, “Or not, why are you angry? You surprised me!”
Was it because of last night? Did he think I couldn’t take him because he was dirty? As I grumbled quietly, he turned his head and murmured.
“…I’m not angry. I’m sorry if you’re surprised.”
My eyes burst open in shock at his attitude, which seemed a bit softer than yesterday. As soon as I opened my mouth to talk more with him, I heard a whimper next to me.
“Rian, are you feeling better?”
Adrian gave me a gentle look as he looked back at me.
“Good, good.”
Thinking he was cute, I stroked his blonde hair as he burrowed into my arms.
“That’s a relief. Today, Rian has to hand out flyers too.”
There’s not much time left to return the man.
‘We need to get rid of Adrian’s insinuation, and find Lucas as well.’
I checked the insinuation gauge that floated above Adrian’s head.
[ Insinuation rate – 6% ]
Before I knew it, the insinuation rate that has almost been resolved shone golden. It was going smoothly, so now the main problem was finding Lucas.
There were no location arrows the same when I found Adrian, but where and how we’d find someone from just his face and name in the vast kingdom of Sharma wasn’t easy.
<SYSTEM> Lucas related quest message has arrived. Do you want to check?
YES
NO
As if reading my mind, I nodded as I stared at the system window that floated with the message.
<QUEST> Finding Lucas
You can check the distance to Lucas once a day.
Currently, Lucas is within a 1-kilometer radius.
‘1km? It’s really not that much!’
After checking the system window, I immediately jumped out of my seat and ran outside the inn without washing my face.
‘A kilometer from the inn would be that building…’
I looked around with my eyes wide open, but I didn’t see a single strand of silver hair that wouldn’t be common here.
“Excuse me, have you seen someone with a silver hair around here?” I asked passerby hanging around the inn and pushed Lucas’ flyer to his face. “He looks like this.”
He looked at the flyer and then at me alternately, and then spoke leisurely, “I’m not entirely sure if its him, but I’ve seen a silver hair around here.”
“Where? Where did you see him?!”
“You’re right in front of me.”
The passerby smiled at my excited words and stroked the side of my head.
“Silver girl, are you free today?”
“…What?”
“Why don’t you go on a date with me if you’re free? I know a famous restaurant around here-”
“Did this punk ate something wrong?”
It wasn’t my voice that cut off the passerby’s words. With the whistling of the wind, the dirty passerby in front of me instantly moved away.
“Master, put on your clothes.”
As if confused with his words, I asked, “What?”
“Get dressed. No matter how hot it is, what you’re wearing right now is a little too much – or should a say a little too less.”
Only then did I realize that I was wandering around the alley in my pajamas.
“Oh, I’m sorry…. I was in a hurry.”
I hurriedly put on the gown he handed to me, and he tilted his head as he stared at me sharply.
“Are you that desperate?”
“Uh, well… That’s… I’m quite desperate.”
Usually, undisclosed routes have a shorter target time compared to open routes. It was quite important for me, who had to find Edith’s true love as soon as possible.
“He looks like a runaway lover.”
The man muttered softly and crumpled the leaflet he took from me.
“LUCAS!”
At that moment, someone called out the name of the person I was desperately looking for.
