Chapter 10: Aura of resentment: Food for them

(Disclaimer: This chapter consists of violent contents that might be traumatic for some readers.)

Heart wrenching and blood curling shrieks and yelp of pain echoed throughout the cold, dark and empty dungeon after each crisp sound of whips.

"It's sickening." The guard who had finally gained a breather gritted his teeth with each cry of help from the girl which was getting weaker by each time.

"But we have to bear with it anyway." The guard patted the another man giving a deep sigh. "That's the differences between the ones chosen by heaven and the ones not chosen by heaven."

"Its not fair." The man huffed in anger as another smack sounded in the chamber followed by another painful cry that echoed and resounded inside their ear as well the cold chamber.

.

.

"Young Master Le Laoling." One of the guards hurried over to the room in the farthest corner of the chamber which had got finally peaceful.

But that was not peace…..it was just the sign of end of pain for the poor maid or was it?

That peace brought with it the eerie silence which was broken by the malicious roar of laughter.

"Hahahaha…now I finally feel better." Laoling wiped his face full of sweat, his fore head dripped with sweat as if he had done some kind of real hard work.

"At least this bitch is not that useless…." He kicked the limp and almost lifeless body of the maid who was sprawled on the ground. His eyes had calmed down but the thirst was not quenched yet. He loved inflicting pain on others…..that alone was enough to give him pleasures that even the sexual activities failed to provide.

That kick hurt but she did not even had the strength to yell out in pain. 'M-mom…it hurts.' Tears fell down from her eyes uncontrollably.

'Ahh…did it finally stop?' Her eyes rolled back to her head showing only the white of her eyes, her breathe slowing down steadily. 'M-Mom..looks like I can make out aliv....

The guard who had come with a news for him stopped in his tracks when he smelled the awful stench of blood in the air. It was horrible and he did not dare to take another step.

"What is it?" Laoling raised his whip admiring the new luster it excluded in the light provided by the flame.

Beads of red blood glistened on the brown leather looking purely appealing. Laoling slowly inched towards the whip, his tongue stretched out a little at a time enticed by the smell of blood.

.

'Isn't it lovely?' A voice just as same as his own whispered in to his ear. "A taste it is…just one lick.." It continued whispering in its tempting accent.

"Y-young mast-er?" The guard called horrified seeing what the crazy man was about to do. Snapping out of whatever he was doing, Laoling opened his eyes in a daze as if he had been somewhere else.

Smelling the blood so close to him, Laoling hurriedly threw away the whip. "Disgusting…Even the blood smells lowly just like the owner." He despicably spit on the body.

The guard felt an urge to vomit. He was just holding it in so as not to offend the devil, the evil young master.

"Young Master.." He gulped down the urge in his throat. "A young cultivator master has come looking for you."

"Huh…young cultivator?? Where did grandmaster Lan go to?" Laoling straightened his wrinkled clothes.

"He-He says he is a disciple of the Grandmaster." The guard answered.

"Really?" His face darkened a little. He exited the room feeling a little unsure about the situation. He was about to walk past the guard he was called from behind.

"Y-Young Master…??" The guard was frightened but still taking courage he asked, "What about her? Should I send her to physician?" The guard felt sorry for the young maid who was covered in injuries, her back naked. The clothes were tattered and shred due to the continuous whipping.

'She must be barely alive….' He knitted his brows since the girl was beaten for almost two hours nonstop.

"What did you say?" He glared at him with murderous intent evident in his eyes.

"No forgive me master…I got ahead of myself." The guard fell on his knees without caring about the pool of blood that soaked his clothes immediately staining his red robes into a darker shade of blood red color.

"Dispose of her, throw her to the alligator pond or the pond of Shasha I don't care." Laoling made his way towards the exit of the chamber.

"Even if she managed to survive the Pond Of Shasha I doubt she can make it alive out of there." A snicker escaped his mouth soon turning into a bloody laughter.

.

.

"This Junior greets you." Laoling once again became formal as he greeted the proud and handsome cultivator clad in a robe belonging to an influential and prominent sect of the Twin star continent.

Eying the robe with a little envy he brought out a smile in his face. "What news might you have brought?"

An Lin hated Le Fangling but he hated the man in front of him even more who was giving overly friendly attitude while his eyes clearly showed hostility and jealously.

"Young Master Le." He gave a slight bow and straightened up as soon as he could. Bowing before a Le Family member was something he never wanted to do.

"Grandmaster Lan has sent me to inform you about our departure. So I am here for his cloak and to bid you farewell on his side." An Lin informed in a casual tone that befitted an immortal.

"Huh??" Laoling stood stupefied in his spot. "But he said he was here for my sister…Isn't he searching for her anymore?" His face lit up. 'I knew that bitch was not worth a shit.'

"No, he is not searching for her anymore." An Lin spoke observing the every bit of emotions in his face.

'I knew it.' Laoling looked happy as a lark.

"Because we have already found her and we are taking her with us to the Eternal Blossom Sect with us as soon as possible." An Lin dropped the bomb on him.

"W-What do you mean by that?" Laoling thought his ear must have been ringing and heard things wrong. "Taking who to the Eternal Blossom sect?"

"I said what I said. Your sister Le Fangling is the newest disciple of the Vermillion Bird Peak."

Vermillion Bird peak is the hill where the Eternal Blossom Sect was established. Located on the northern side of the continent, the weather condition was harsh making it extremely difficult for people to cultivate and train in martial arts.

But those who came out of the peak alive, no matter what their rank was..They became an extremely powerful existence. It was the dream of every young boys and girls to be picked up by the masters of the Sect but only one in a million was lucky enough to be selected.

"But I thought I was the one who was going to be chosen….Why…How is that bitch getting my opportunity?" Taking off his polite façade he screamed at An Lin as if he was the one who made selection.

"I do not know that and even if I did I am not obliged to answer your questions." An Lin looked at the man with anger.

"Whatt??..." Before he could garb An Lin by his collar, An Lin quickly dodged to side with ease. The maid had already arrived with the cloak.

Taking the cloak from her hand respectfully, he walked out of the house.

"If you want to complain go and do it in front of your family head." Saying this An Lin Flew away from there in his sword disappearing from their site within a second.

"Fucckkkkkk you…ou old shit.." In anger Laoling headed towards the mediation chamber where the Old Master of Family was mediating for past Four months warning not be disturbed.

As he flew on the sky, An Lin sensed strong resentment in air that came from below the mansion of the Le family. But as he stopped to check it out, it soon got enveloped by the shadow of death.

He waited for a bit for any wandering spirit to show up taking out a sealing and purifying talisman in his hand.

A minute passed…

Still no sign of any evil spirit..

"Must have been my delusion." Thinking this An Lin took of towards the forest where his Master and Le Fangling was waiting.

"She died too young…." An old man sighed as he pushed the cart that seemed to be carrying a dead body. Blood dripped leaving a trail on the ground as the cart slowly made its way from the basement of the mansion to the forest towards The Pond Of Shasha.

"That's what you get for disobedience and choosing a wrong master to serve." The slightly elderly man who was also pushing the cart sighed. They too were the ones who chose the wrong master but where would they find a lenient master in this world.

"Forget it, we do our job…they do their job…My trust from heavenly Dao has already shattered since that day.." The man smiled bitterly.

*Ohoho….is that resentment and hatred I smell?*

An evil voice snickered looking at the moving cart but its attention was only in the dark red and black aura that was exuding from beneath the white sheet of clothes.

"KeKekeke…..Human realm might not be that boring after all…..kekeke.." The voice flew over to the cart from where it was seated, the top of the mansion.
