Chapter 13: What stunt are you trying to pull?

Doing justice to the name, Cherry blossom Pavilion was filled with cherry blossoms all the way to the main central building situated at the center.

The Cherry Blossom pavilion was divided into three sections. The centre consisted of the main building which was the resident of Elder Lin. She was a young cultivator who was proficient in healing and also was the Lord of the cherry blossom Pavilion.

Surrounding the main buildings were another circular arrangement of small but beautiful living quarters for the inner-court disciple of the Sect.

Forming another ring outside the inner section of the pavilion was the living quarters for the outer court disciples. The small huts were not as good as the one provided to inner-court disciples still no one complained as it was a rule that has been in practice for thousands of years.

Cherry Blossom Pavilion was taken care by Elder Lin so the place was for the female disciple but not limited to them only.

An Lin looked at the quiet and immobile girl in his arms with a little worry.

"Hold on till we reach to Elder Lin." He increased his speed and within a few seconds landed right in front of the main hall.

Sipping a tea of herbal tea from a white jade cup, Elder Lin was having a peaceful time of her life as she listened to the chirping of birds as they sang praises of the cherry blossoms.

Looking at the snowflakes which were falling along with the pink petals, Elder Lin felt an immeasurable sense of bliss and happiness.

"For the beauty of flower that blooms in snow,

No regret for waiting centuries just to see them grow."

Elder Lin caught a petal of falling blossom and quoted out a poem that emerged within her at the mesmerizing sight even though she sucked at it.

A break after a long journey, a cup of tea and cherry blossom. "What a beautiful day.." She exclaimed lazing around where she sat stretching her body like a tabby cat who was taking a nap in sunshine.

Her day could not get any better than this….

Because a loud voice rang out throughout the empty resident almost extracting the soul out of her body.

"Elder Lin…..Elder Lin…" An Lin shouted from the door of the hall.

As a male disciple he was prohibited from entering the resident of Elder Lin and other female students unless it was emergency situation.

Holding her large paper fan in her hand, her face half blocked by the white silk clothes below her eyes to her neck and hair flowing out like a wild waterfall, Elder Lin stepped out from the main entrance in elegance, her long wide robes making her look like a heavenly deity.

The piece of clothes that hid her face was not enough to hide the peerless beauty she possessed along with her mature demeanor.

"What is it?" Elder Lin looked at the pair of girl and boy who had come to her doorstep in a weird position.

Noticing the face of the boy she wondered where she had seen it when a memory came rushing back to her.

"If my memory serves me right, you are the disciple of the Grandmaster Lan, aren't you?" Observing carefully, she asked the boy who seemed a little impatient.

An Lin was surprised when he heard that she might know him. Being popular among disciples was one thing but being noticed and remembered by another hottie…Ahemm..he means by someone was influential as Elder Lin was something to be flustered and proud about.

"Ahh…right.." Blushing a little An Lin smiled at Elder Lin. He was just a young teenager after all despite being an immortal cultivator.

"It's an honor for me…." to be worthy of your attention was what he was about to say but Elder Lin was more interested in the girl he was carrying.

Gesturing him to stop talking she walked down the stairs slowly with a curious look in her beautiful hazel eyes which were the only thing visible on her face.

An Lin felt a little embarrassed being interrupted and ignored like that but he knew flirting and currying favor with Elder Lin was not the priority at the moment.

Noticing the gaze of the Elder Lin on Le Fangling, he immediately remembered why he came there.

"This girl---" Elder Lin asked looking at the girl who stared at the open sky with her life less eyes.

"Elder Lin!"

"This is the reason why I came here." An Lin spoke in all humbleness, his language clear and precise without any emotional fluctuation in his voice.

Elder Lin looked at the dull and lifeless eyes and sensed something wrong with how her current state was.

Extending her long and beautiful fingers which looked like as if it had been sculpted on her thin yet strong hand, she touched the forehead of the girl and slowly traced her index fingers towards her neck before it stopped.

An Lin felt this scene was unexpectedly a little bit erotic but swatted away his perverted thoughts when he saw the strange look on Elder Lin's face.

"Strange.." She withdrew her hand slightly rubbing her fingers which tingled as if it had been electrified by lightning.

She had never seen this disciple before and judging from the robe she seemed to be a outer-court disciple.

But more than her identity the pressing matter was the strange condition her body was in.

"Elder, are you alright?" An Lin asked with concern but got only a nod as response.

-

"Bring her in." Elder Lin turned around and signaled An Lin to enter the resident with the girl. "I need to see this through."

"Yes.. Elder."

An Lin quickly followed behind the Elder and entered the main hall.

"Just as expected." An Lin thought looking at the simple yet sophisticated interior furnishing of the resident. It was not every day one got chance to enter the forbidden place in the Cherry Blossom Pavilion.

"Keep her there."

A soft yet cold voice commanded him breaking off his thoughts that was wandering inside the room.

Elder Lin pointed to a clean low bed on the floor near the window where she was sitting before. The pure white colored bed did not only look pure but it actually did ward off evil.

It was a magical artifact Elder Lin had bought once upon a time but she had already forgotten the time now that she was an immortal with a high level cultivation.

"Let's see if this works." She observed the bed with satisfaction since it looked comfortable.

"Yosh….."

With a huff, An Lin laid down Le Fangling on the bed with her back against the bed and face facing the ceiling.

He was about to ask if there was anything else but got interrupted once again with a question by Elder Lin.

"What's her name? I don't think I have ever seen her before around.."

"Elder Lin is correct about not seeing her around. She is a new junior sister that Grandmaster Lan had brought with us today." An Lin informed her in summary.

"Grandmaster Lan you said?" Surprised she looked at An Lin as if she could not believe what she was hearing.

"Yes. Her name is Le Fangling." An Lin slightly raised his eyes to see the reaction on her face when he told her name.

Maybe he was a little too late or maybe it did not matter to Elder Lin but she did not have a hint of surprise on her eyes.

"I understand. You may leave now." Making herself comfortable on the bedside, she excused An Lin.

"I will send for you when the treatment is done." She smiled looking at the boy who was about to retort back.

An Lin had no choice but to follow her order.

"Yes Elder Lin." He took three steps back from where he was standing and bowed down in respect. Turning around he walked out of the door as fast as he could in order not to disturb the process.

Looking at the retreating back of the youngster, she knitted her eye brows in a complicated frown which was her real expression at the moment.

"Old man, bringing a Le family child to the Sect…" She mumbled under her breathe.

"Just what stunt are you trying to pull this time??"
