"Here you go," Elder Mo said in a grim voice as he placed down the scroll he was holding on the table.
He is regretting his decision of letting this girl take away the scroll and he wanted to change the name
of the scroll but it was out of question. He didn't have authority to do something like that.
He moved a few steps back from the counter and started to stroke his beard with his eyes closed. But all
the while, he was secretly eyeing the girl to see her reaction to the name of it.
He didn't know that he was subconsciously stroking his beard with a little too much force, that a few strands of his white beard got plucked out from his chin and were slowly falling down like snow.
But!!
He was too occupied to notice a few measly strands of hair that was falling down and covering his floor.
While he was still stroking his beard, he watched as Le Fang Ling unfold the scroll and went through it.
…
After taking the scroll from the table, Le Fang Ling was curious about how this ancient scroll have the best arts and technique to help her train her wind affinity and wind based elemental qi.
'What's this?' she exclaimed in surprise inwardly when the scroll suddenly glowed in her palm for a
brief second. The glow was a dim light green in color but she could easily pinpoint it out as the light made even her jade like skin glow softly.
Since it was strange, she hurriedly look up at Elder Mo with eyes full of questions and inquiries but a voice inside her head asked her to stop.
'There is no use asking him', Nagina spoke inside her head telepathically. Nagina had been calmly
waiting for them to be done at the desk by the window inside the library hall.
'Only you can see it', she said in a light tone.
'And since, I'm a part of you, I can see it too.' Nagina said in a solemn tone as she scanned the scroll that her host was holding. Her eyes changed to a brighter shade of red as she continued to see if she could find anything peculiar about it.
A transparent screen appeared right in front of Le Fang ling that showed the basic origin of the scroll and what it had went through. It also showed the number of users of this art along with their achievements in successfully deciphering the secrets arts of the scroll.
Le Fang Ling scurried her eyes thoroughly through the bar.
There was not much important information that she thought could help her but seeing at the records of the past users, she realized that Elder Mo was the last one who had practiced this art.
And that was more than 500 years ago for god's sake!
And as for the origin of the scroll, she could see that the ancestor who was the beginner of this art was from the Mo family.
'So, it's his family art huh?' she thought to herself feeling a little proud about being handed such an
important treasure.
There were not many users since, people mainly used this arts for their own purpose without showing and sharing it to anyone.
'Is there anyone who was able to successfully master everything of this art?' she asked in her head when she saw that almost everyone's achievement was between 0 and 1, 0 being lowest and 1 being the highest.
'I am not sure about that, but I believe with the extinction of ancient script, people were unable to fully get the things written here.' Nagina said out her speculation after analyzing all the facts.
'Apart from that I really can't say much', she said with a sigh as her eyes returned back to normal.
"Thank you, you have been a big help." Le Fang ling broke out in a sweet and soft smile as she looked at her Nagina who was sitting a few meters away from her.
She turned back her head and looked at the scroll with an amused and interested look in her face. She really wanted to know more about it.
All this time, the anxiety line on the forehead of Elder Mo was thickening at a speed visible to naked eyes.
"The heavenly blow of the roaring dragon?" Le Fang Ling read out the words that were floating on
the top of the scroll.
'There it is!' He shouted internally when he heard the name of the scroll coming out of her mouth. And he was not wrong!
The title sounded way too suspicious and wrong. He really wanted to go and shake his senior sister as to why she came up with such an embarrassing name. After this, he was sure he was not going to be able to face any student like the same as before.
It was going to be a scandal.
"Elder Mo of the Eternal Blossom sect is someone who mastered heavenly blow of the roaring dragon!"
Shivers and chills went down his spine even when thinking about it. He could be overthinking but this possibility could definitely not be overlooked at this point.
"Cough," he coughed a little to clear his throat and looked at her as if nothing was wrong at all.
"Yes, is there anything wrong?" Le fang Ling who was mesmerized by the floating words and glow of the scroll raised her head up to look at Elder Mo.
"What do you think?" he said with a nonchalant look on his face. Not a muscle on his face twitched as he maintained that sophisticated and unmoving look on his face.
Upon hearing his question, Le Fang ling stared at him for a while when she finally realized something.
"Elder Mo, this disciple will never forget your kindness." She said with a humble gesture of bowing
down.
"…."
"Alright, you can go now." He looked at her and waved his hand, dismissing her from there.
"Also," Le fang Ling added as she was not done speaking.
"The title is ELITE!" she said as she showed a big thumps up sign.
