Chapter 27: The Destination

Sabrina Dubois' POV

Okay, since I have come here, I might as well look the road so that I can remember for later.

"so, how do you like Denmark so far?" Sophia asked me as I was looking outside the window as the pine forests were distributing alongside the road.

"huh? Oh yeah, it was a charming country. Some of the guys were trying to hit on me," I said as I was trying to make this situation as casual as possible. Sophia laughed as she looked at me.

"I know how they feel about foreigners. I once thought about it when I first met Charles, but they have a nice intention," she said as she looked at me through the rearview mirror. I smiled as I just wanted to be polite to her.

"we're here," Charles said as the house came into view. I looked at it and my mouth nearly dropped.

"Is this your house?" I asked as I was in awe with the view.

"Nah, it just a small one that we could afford at the time," Charles said as he got out as well as Sophia. I opened the door and got out of the car. It was not just an ordinary house, it was a fucking mansion and they said it was small, with its 3 stories and the architecture of 16th century Gothic.

"you have a cozy home," I said as I took off my coat as I looked around the house.

"why, thank you. Most people said it was so old but I guess you have a good taste in interior design," Sophia said as she showed me around the house.

"do you have anyone to cook for you?" I asked her before she looked at me and laughed.

"darling, of course. We have 3 employees to keep this house clean and going. I hope you love Danish food, I assume?" She said as Charles appeared to her side.

"come on, dear. She did not accustom to it. Why don't we have French dinner tonight, hmm?" Charles said as he kissed her temple. Sophia sighed before she nodded.

"Okay, fine. Cannot starve the guest. Come," she said as I looked at their relationship. I guess that's how people fell in. love. Not just lust for sexual pleasure. I wondered what Nathan thought about our relationship.

"Are you coming?" Sophia asked as they were waiting for me. I was in a trance before I smiled at them.

"of course, I was starving," I said as I went to their dining hall, hoping that Nathan will find me soon enough before I get barbecued by these criminals.

The dining room was a piece of art. They have a big chandelier on the ceiling that made me thinking about the kitchen in Nathan's apartment. They have servants that served us and it reminded me of Alina as she was a princess of the old country.

"I hope you love beef bourgeon or what you like to call it in the States, beef stew," Sophia said as she looked at me.

"yes, it was my comfort food," I said as I looked at the beef. It was cooked to perfection and when I tasted it, I think I'm ready to die and go to heaven.

"so, how was it?" She asked as they waited for me to give a review.

"it was really good, I love it," I said as I looked at them. Charles and Sophia looked at each other before they smiled at me.

"good, then I think you might like what we have in store for you," Charles said before I can feel my head started to get dizzy and I tried to get away from them.

"what did you do to me?" I asked as I knew they will do this. I need to go to their lair so that Nathan can uncover it.

"oh, we have so many things plan for you, my dear Sabrina, and it includes bacteria," was the last thing I remembered as I went into darkness.

Charles Debrun's POV

"so, is she asleep yet?" Sophia asked me when I went to check her pulse, to make sure that nothing will happen to her.

"yes, the good news is she is, but I don't think that sleep pills will wake her up any time soon," I said as I stood up and looked at Sophia. She was thinking so hard these days as I can see the wrinkles have formed in her forehead.

"don't start with me," she said as I was about to tell her something. She turned around to look at me as she was caressing my chest.

"you know what you involve with when you started to date me. And when you asked me to marry you, you get the whole package. The good, the bad and the ugly of my life. So deal with it," she said as she pulled me into a kiss as I looked at Sabrina who was laying unconscious to our wicked scheme. After Sophia kissed me, she pulled away and she caught me looking at my childhood friend.

"Charles, I thought you have moved on," she exclaimed as she was looking at me. I sighed as I don't want to start a fight with her anymore.

"I am, it just, she's my friend. I don't want anything to happen to her, that's all," I said as I pulled her closer. Sophia looked at me as I knew what she was thinking.

"are you now? I thought when you left France, you promised me that you will never get involved with her again, and after that party for her farewell to go to the States as well," Sophia said as she pulled me closer with her hands snaked around my neck.

"Now, let's fuck before she wakes up and ruins our plan," she whispered before she kissed me passionately and I knew I was losing when she did that. I pulled her up on my torso as I carried her to the bedroom, the place where we spend our carnal desire all night long and even days as I kicked the door opened.

"hurry up, Charles, I don't think I can handle it anymore," she said as I was kissing her neck and jaw. I was roaming her body as Sophia did not wear any undergarments and it was easier that way for both of us.

Nathan White's POV

"damn it, I lost her, Val. I can't trace where she went. 1 second she was in front of me and now she's gone," I said as I was looking around the village to find my Sabrina. I don't know if she was still in the zone but my gut told me she was nearby.

"Hey, Nathan. I think I just found where is Sabrina located. She sent a distress signal from a pine forest that was not far from the village that you're in. I will send you the location and, Nathan, be careful. We don't know what we're dealing with here," Val said as I nodded to myself.

"Okay, will do," I said as I got inside the car. I don't know if Sabrina was okay, but if anything happened, I knew that she can handle it. I turned on the ignition and sped off from the village to the said destination when I can sense something has happened in my gut. I gripped the steering wheel until my knuckles turned white as I needed to get to Sabrina as soon as possible.
