Chapter 13.3 : Outshine The Protagonist
Editor : Daisy & Al Farouk
Not only cold, Why is every pore of my body was brimming with a chill?
Chen Shu looked at Ye Sui. His line of sight fell at Ye Sui long sleeve clothes then turned towards her jeans again.
Chen Shu, “…”
Chen Shu fixed his eyes again on Ye Sui’s face. He then said in a low voice. “If you are cold, wear thicker clothes in the future.”
That’s not what I really meant! If I had known this earlier…I would’ve shut my mouth!
Looking at the Yang energy was beyond the normal range of measurement, Chen Shu wasn’t even affected by ghosts at all. Ye Sui naturally had an unspeakable bitter feeling. Left with no other choice, she could only ignore the scholar ghost who was not too far away.
On the other side, the scholar ghost looked at Chen Shu in fear. He was so scared that he wanted to run at once. But before that, he suddenly remembered something and turned to look at butler Zhao furiously.
The scholar ghost looked sickly, but it’s as if he was in madden state, so he started to curse him. He then spat at Butler Zhao. “Pooh! How dare you disrespect Mr. Chen? What is Mr. Chen’s status and what is yours, and still you don’t give him an apology!” The scholar ghost scolded, exerting all his strength. “In my dynasty, this would be a capital offense. Get down on your knees!”
Ye Sui looked at the scholar ghost’s mouth opening and closing, his saliva splashed all over on Butler Zhao face precisely.
If the saliva was a poison, it could be estimated that Butler would have died on the spot.
Although the scholar ghost had been wandering for hundreds of years. But beneath the surface he persisted with the principles of his dynasty. He wanted the Butler to kneel down to Chen Shu very firmly and persistently.
The scholar ghost’s loyal attitude to Chen Shu was very positive. When he saw Chen Shu at just a glance, his frightened eyes immediately turned into power, and his strength became heavier.
“Mr. Chen, I’ll make him kneel down and propose amends to you!”
Butler Zhao was unaware of what had transpired. He only felt that his shoulders were suddenly turned heavy. His face turned cold, and his knees bent uncontrollably downward.
What? Why do I feel tired? Haven’t I slept well recently?
Ye Sui watched Butler Zhao’s back become more and more crooked and his legs shook in a disorderly way. The next second he seemed to be kneeling.
Butler Zhao rose from his feet and decided to take a rest. But who would expect as he took a step forward, he tumbled down with his face first to the ground.
He fell on infront of Ye Sui and Chen Shu.
Just as Butler Zhao fell to the ground. The scholar ghost finally achieved his goal. He bowed to Chen Shu and drifted away contentedly.
As Butler’s Zhao struggled to stand up, he felt a little pain in his knee. But his shoulders were not as heavy, not even cold, and just a lot more comfortable than before.
Butler Zhao stood up, looked up and saw Chen Shu’s face.
He didn’t know why, but an idea immediately flashed through butler’s Zhao’s mind. He became miserable just now. Was it because he disrespected the third Young Master? He had always had a bad attitude towards Third Young Master. When he fell in front of the Third Young Master just now, this made him come to his senses. Well that must be the case.
Butler Zhao, who was now aware of the fact, wiped out the blood from his nose. He instantly changed his tone, becoming more polite. “Third Young Master, you can sit in the living room first, and I’ll make tea for you.”
Then he went away. He was as diligent as if he had changed to another person.
Ye Sui who had witnessed it all just now, “…”
Chen Shu and Ye Sui went to the living room and sat down. Soon Chen Xiu came, too. He snorted in his heart when he saw Chen Shu and Ye Sui.
Several people were sitting in the living room without any intention of talking. Butler Zhao, broke the calm atmosphere. He was carried a tea tray, his eyes fixed on it unblinkingly for fear of falling.
When butler Zhao passed Chen Xiu’s side, Chen Xiu naturally held out his hand, ready to take the cup of tea.
Yet, butler Zhao didn’t even glance at Chen Xiu. He strode in front of Chen Shu, took a cup of well-prepared tea, and carefully handed it to Chen Shu.
Butler Zhao fawned at Chen Shu, “Third Young Master, do you think this tea is to your taste? If you’re not satisfied, I’ll make you another cup.”
Chen Xiu’s hand was awkwardly stretched out. He had been completely ignored. “…”

E/N Daisy: While editing this, I was thinking that Ye Sui would’ve saw this in a different way since she didn’t know the mindset of the butler.
She would’ve seen the ghost say stuff about making butler Zhao kneel down and respect him. And after he kneeled, he suddenly treated Chen Sui with respect.
She didn’t know his mindset and how he thought it was because of the way he treated Chen Sui. She just saw it as the ghost saying something and then it happening. Lol
