Sean let Mathias in on his plans after the meal. Mathias pondered over it for a long time but found that even a smart and wise man like himself could not think of a better idea. In the end, he agreed to Sean’s plan.

Not one to dilly-dally, Mathias brought the trio to meet with Bolvar Fordragon.

Of course, Bolvar Fordragon was currently the Regent of Stormwind, and a man of such authority could not be seen so easily. Fortunately, Mathias had his ways.

After experiencing a series of events that could cover at least three chapters in this story, Sean finally met with Bolvar Fordragon.

The Regent of Stormwind had lived quite an extraordinary life. Born to a noble family in Stormwind City and with his mother famous amongst high society, Bolvar Fordragon, as expected, rose through the ranks of Stormwind City.

He was dubbed the Lord of Stormwind City. With Stormwind City his territory, Bolvar was the Highlord; the first Highlord and leader of the Lords within the city. As one of King Varian’s chief advisors, Bolvar did whatever he could to assist the king in governing Stormwind.

In the original history, Bolvar would soon become a faction leader and command the Valiance Expedition in an assault against the Scourge in Northrend.

That was the most glorious yet most painful moment in his life.

When a head-to-head in battle with the Lich King, Bolvar and the Valiance Expedition he led were infected with a new form of plague in front of the Wrathgate. The entire Valiance Expedition was wiped out. Even Bolivar was infected and nearly died.

It was then that the Dragon Queen of the Red Dragonflight appeared.

To put a stop to the spread of the plague in Northend, the Dragon Queen released the Flame of Life, burning down the plague. There was nothing that could withstand such a scorching temperature.

Almost every Warrior perished, burnt ashes and bones. Bolvar also succumbed to the scorching flames. He was tortured by the flames but remained on the edge of life. It would have been better if he had died.

To make things worse, he was captured by the Lich King.

Back in Icecrown Citadel, the Lich King tortured Bolvar, aiming to break his will and corrupt him into servitude. All in an attempt to transform him into the most powerful Death Knight in the Lich King’s army.

However, Bolvar was able to resist the Lich King with his strong will and spirit.

Later, the Crusade led by Tirion Fordring attacked and vanquished the Lich King, leading to Bolvar’s release. Unfortunately, in the absence of the Lich King, the Scourge would need to be controlled and restrained. This resulted in a squabble over a piece of Equipment occurring in Icecrown Citadel.

Both Old Fordring and Bolvar wanted to sacrifice themselves.

In the end, Bolvar put on the Helm of Domination and became the new Lich King.

“The dragons’ flame sealed my fate. The world of the living can no longer comfort me! Place the crown upon my head, Tirion. Forevermore, I will be the Jailer of the Damned!

“I must be forgotten, Tirion! If the world is to live free from the tyranny of fear, they must never know what was done here today! Tell them only that the Lich King is dead, and that Bolvar Fordragon died with him.”

This was definitely a moving story and had led to an interesting phenomenon, Bolvar Worshipping.

“24 years ago, Bolvar used the Light to bless my mother in a raid and I was born.”

“Long, long ago, only one man, Bolvar, existed in this world. One day, he saw a lizard… and the dragonflights were created.

“Bolvar once used Judgment of Command in Draenor. The location was Netherstorm Continent. Of course, it’s no longer a continent.”

“Bolvar can count from 1 to infinity, twice.”

“Bolvar’s personal life story is G rated.”

“Bolvar never bothered to learn Blessing of Sacrifice because he can instantly kill Mages, even when turned into a sheep.”

Et cetera.

Nonetheless, the present Bolvar was healthy, and sitting in front of Sean.

Mathias had indeed played his cards well. He managed to steer clear of Lady Onyxia’s surveillance and brought the trio to see Bolvar Fordragon.

The meeting venue was Stormwind Library.

“Mathias, what brings you here?” Bolvar was flipping through a book. Sean’s sharp eyes caught a glimpse of the book and realized it was a book about the way of the Holy Light. The author was Uther the Lightbringer.

Mathias took a step forward and answered, “Highlord, I brought these three with me. They have an important matter to report.”

“Oh? How important?” Bolvar closed the book in his hands and turned his gaze to Mathias, sweeping a glance at the trio along the way. He replied, “A Mage, a Rogue, and a girl?”

Mathias immediately introduced Sean and the duo before repeating what Sean had said.

“Hmm? So you’re saying that Lady Katrana Prestor is actually a member of the Black Dragonflight?” Bolvar frowned and mumbled, “Dragons, masters of disguise. From what I know, an adult Dragon can transform into a human and look no different from one…”

Sean stepped forward. Looking at Bolvar in close range, he said with respect, “That’s right. My teacher said that Lady Onyxia of the Black Dragonflight is the first Black Dragon to achieve Legendary Rank. She is more powerful than an ordinary Black Dragon, and more treacherous.”

Bolvar turned to glance at Sean before asking. “So you say that your teacher is Medivh? Describe his appearance.”

Cameras did not exist in this world. Although there were spells and technology capable of capturing a person’s image, these were rare. Bolvar had seen Medivh before and if Sean was able to describe Medivh’s appearance, it proved that he most likely had come across Medivh. If he could not, then whatever Sean had said was a lie.

It may be an old trick in the book, but it was still effective.

Nevertheless, Sean was not afraid.

After meeting with famous characters such as Old Saldean, Theocritus, Gryan Stoutmantle, and Mathias Shaw since his arrival to this world, Sean found that they were more or less the same in terms of looks compared to the game. Medivh’s appearance should be in the same way.

Hence, based on his memory, Sean began to recount Medivh’s appearance in the game, and… he passed.

Bolvar nodded before adding. “Young Mage, I will believe you for now. The Light will not forgive you if what you speak is lies!”

Sean smirked inwardly.

He was a Mage, so what did the Light have to do with him?

With Sean’s identity ascertained, Bolvar made a prompt decision. “Alright! Sean, I will arrange for you to sail on a ship to meet with Lady Jaina in Theramore. Seek help from her to search for King Varian! Mathias, I’ll still require your help here. Make arrangements to probe for any information on Windsor and the Blackrock Clan. Stormwind City needs Windsor, we must rescue him!”
