This was an ancient isle, and a young city.

This was a water city that was surrounded by water on three sides, and a trade capital that was accessible from all directions.

This was the last proof of Kul Tiras’— the Maritime Kingdom — existence, and was also the new home built by the Lordaeron survivors’ hard work.

This was Theramore.

Theramore was located in Kalimdor’s Dustwallow Marsh, was close to Durotar — the Orcs’ capital, faced Stormwind City — the Humans’ capital — that was across the ocean, and had main ports that merchant ships could connect to. Although its military power was weak, due to Lady Jaina, the small city had become neutral ground for the Horde and the Alliance.

Jaina advocated for peace and moderation between the Horde and the Alliance at the expense of her father’s life. She had since been hated for her role in her father’s death, and remained in Theramore.

Perhaps instead of saying she remained, it was more accurate to say she was exiled.

It was impossible for the Horde and the Alliance to accept Jaina, hence she was isolated on the island with nobody to rely on.

That said, now that Stormwind City was in trouble, they needed to seek her help. They were hoping that she would lend them a helping hand.

Sean lamented as he looked at the not so majestic Theramore from the harbor dock.

Since he had not revealed his and his companions’ identity, they entered Theramore after a simple inspection, like any other normal merchant.

Soon enough, the First Finger Assassin from SI:7 employed a unique method to find the SI:7 members in Theramore, then contacted a high-ranking official in the city through those members, and finally got in touch with Lady Jaina through that high-ranking official.

That night, Sean and the others met Lady Jaina in Theramore’s Town Hall.

There were only two people in the Town Hall, one was Lady Jaina, and the other one was a female High Elf.

Lady Jaina was already a renowned Archmage at this time. She was an expert in Teleport, and had mastered Frost spells. She could summon a massive amount of water elementals at once, making her equivalent to a small army.

It was rude to reveal a lady’s age, but Sean would like to note that Jaina, a 27-year-old Archmage, was so talented in magic that she was simply astounding.

Nonetheless, Sean did not pay too much attention to the lady who was admired by many, he fixed his gaze on the female High Elf.

Sean could not describe the High Elf’s appearance.

She did not look young, and in fact, she was much older than almost all of the High Elves.

The High Elf seemed weak, but the truth was that only very few in this world were more powerful than her — though she was not at her peak anymore, and was much weaker than when she was at her best.

Even after passing on most of her Mana to her son, and after reviving her dead son through the leftover Mana that she used to maintain her youth, she was still powerful enough to not be seen when using Appraisal Sight.

At the very least, the High Elf was still a High Rank Mage.

Besides, her hundreds and thousands of years of life experience allowed her to have great insight into the world, thus nobody could hide their real thoughts in front of her, not even Sean.

The High Elf used to be the most powerful existence among the Humans. She was a former Guardian of Tirisfal, and she killed Dark Titan’s body on her own. The reason she asked the Council of Tirisfal to establish an organization was to regain possession of her extraordinary power.

She was not an ordinary person as she was a man-made deity.

She was also a mother.

She was the mother of Medivh, the Last Guardian.

She was Magna Aegwynn.

After seeing Lady Jaina in the distance, the First Finger Assassin from SI:7 left because he had completed his task. With Lady Jaina around, Prince Anduin would not be hurt.

Jaina stood in front of the podium to look at the people in front of her as she said, “Tell me why you’re here. A young Mage, a cunning Thief, an adorable little girl, and… Little Anduin.”

Anduin responded softly, “Are you… Aunt Jaina?”

Jaina instantly smiled when she heard the way Anduin addressed her. She bent forward to caress Anduin’s head while replying, “Little Anduin, I’ve known your father since we were children. He’s a mighty king, he’s sometimes elegant, and sometimes violent. He’s also a brave Warrior. Why did you come here instead of staying by his side?”

Anduin’s eyes reddened right away as they were teary, and he began crying once he threw himself into Jaina’s arms.

“Sob, sob, sob, Aunt Jaina, they didn’t tell me, but I guessed it myself. Something bad happened to my father, sob, sob, sob…”

Jaina did not expect this to happen at all, so she quickly comforted Anduin while glancing at Sean.

Although Rick was older and looked more mature than Sean, Jaina could tell that Sean was the leader of the group because he had been very calm even when he was standing in front of her.

Sean motioned a standard Mage’s salute, then retrieved a letter to pass it to Jaina.

“This is a handwritten letter from Highlord Bolvar Fordragon that has a detailed description of everything that has happened in Stormwind City lately, please take a look at it,” Sean said.

Jaina looked at Sean in confusion before accepting the letter. Only after making sure that the seal was normal, the letter was not opened, and that the words “For Lady Jaina” on the cover was indeed Bolvar’s handwriting, she opened the letter.

After just a minute, Jaina’s face changed.

When Jaina looked at Sean again, she noticed that Sean was still smiling plainly, so she passed the letter to the female High Elf — Aegwynn. The High Elf’s appearance was a simple Illusion.

Aegwynn was done reading the letter very quickly, and she maintained a straight face.

Even though what was described in the letter was truly frightening, Aegwynn had encountered many incidents that were more terrifying, so nothing could actually make her restless apart from her son… And her grandson.

Jaina inhaled deeply to recollect herself upon noticing that Aegwynn had finished reading the letter.

She then looked at Sean and spoke in a strict tone, “Is everything mentioned in the letter true?”

“They’re all true.”

“Lady Katrana Prestor is actually Lady Onyxia of the Black Dragonflight in disguise?”

“Yes.”

“King Varian was split into two using Dark Magic?”

“Yes.”

“Marshal Windsor is being imprisoned at Blackrock Spire?”

“Yes,”

Jaina asked a total of four questions, and Sean answered them accordingly.

Jaina asked the questions very quickly, and Sean answered them without hesitation.

Jaina did not see a bit of hesitation from Sean’s face at all, and she could tell from her vast experience that he was not lying.

However, Jaina asked the last question,

“Are you really a student of Medivh?”

Sean hesitated this time.

He looked at Aegwynn and noticed that her facial expression was still the same, her eyes were kind and gentle, then he replied,

“Yes!”
