CRASH! Rumble! Rumble!

A loud booming sound of mountain rocks breaking apart could be heard from miles away. As two shadowy figures and a humongous blue lizard darted out from the dust cloud. The demon beast's body is already riddled with wounds and a fresh wound can be seen on its left eye.

The two figure didn't fare well as one of them has a dropping arm that seemed to be broken while the other one is covered with blood and a deep gash on his chest is visible from his torn clothes.

"Clan leader we have to retreat. This Giant phantom king Lizard is still far too strong for us. We need to call the other elders to assist us."

The man with a dropping arm suggested as he panted heavily.

The man although wounded deeply has reluctance in his eyes. He didn't want to let go of the opportunity to kill and harvest the demon beast who is standing in front of them. As it is a level 5 demon beast king, the value of its core and materials is very high, and it will be of great help to their clan.

The two men facing the demon beast are members of the Shao clan. It was Fu Shao and Tung Shao, the clan 1st elder, who both attacked the demon beast king. But instead of being successful, both the two cultivators and the demon beast king is at a standstill. Shin Jiao entered the hall instead of waiting outside so that he would not gain any animosity from the rest of the clans. This action actually made the other youth laugh at him as they know that inside the hall the top cultivators are discussing something very important. They are expecting for the foolish youth to be kicked out and be humiliated.

When Shin Jiao saw the people inside he stood rooted to the ground. He didn't expect that there are many clan leaders present in the hall. This made Shin Jiao feel awkward, so he quickly turns around and walks back.

"Who are you?"

A large beefy man stood in front of him blocking his way, in his eyes suspicion can be seen.

"Oh, this junior greets senior. I didn't mean to intrude, I just wanted to discuss something to the clan leader. Sorry if I did something inappropriate."

Shin Jiao immediately cupped his hands to greet the large man in front of him.

When the clan leader noticed Shin Jiao, his face is full of smiled and gestured Shin Jiao enter the hall.

"Friends, this young man is the benefactor of our clan."

The clan leader said to the group as he pats Shin Jiao's shoulder.

"Is he going to take a position in the selection Mark?"

An old man asked as he looks at Shin Jiao.

If the youth in front of them will enter the selection, they would not allow it. With weak cultivation, he would just be a disgrace to the clans and the town.

The clan leader and Shin Jiao felt that there is something wrong. So Shin Jiao cupped his hands and with an apologetic look in his eyes, he explained.

"Seniors, this junior has no design for the activity of the young ones in town. I'm just here to see the clan head, that's all."

The clan head and Shin Jiao enters a room that looks like an office for receiving a guest.

Mark Zok asked as he sat on one of the chairs and gestured Shin Jaio to follow.

"Well, it's about cultivation techniques. As you can see my cultivation level is far too low. So I hope that clan leader can help me with this."

"Ha ha! Is that it? Okay, I'll give you some books on the basics. If you are lucky enough, this can help you advance to the core forming stage. And I will also give you some pills."

Mark Zok stood up and rummage through the bookshelf and took out some book. Then from his spatial ring, he also takes out a small porcelain bottle.

After writing the cultivation technique he made for himself, he suddenly had an insight. And then all of a sudden, he felt deep in his dantian a great change is happening. The natural energy spheres and the spiritual orb begins to rotate and rampage inside his dantian. This phenomenon made Shin Jiao feel great pain in his abdomen area. It's like something is burning within his body. He gritted his teeth and bored through the torture.

Inside his dantian, the spheres and the spirit orb suddenly released all the energy within them which twirled around as it gradually picks up speed. Then color gradually turn into a combination of light blue and silver. Afterward, 50 red spheres began to form filling half of his dantian and all the combined energy went inside the spheres. Only the red fire crystal can be seen now floating in the middle of the dantian.
