"So uh, when will we propose Keir the deal?" Tsuru asked observing the building they passed by. Allon stopped at a red light, his hand clutching the steering wheel making his knuckles go white, he hadn't listened to her question, Tsuru repeating herself, "Allon, how will we make a deal?" She smacked his arm making him tense up at the touch.
He turned to look at her taking a deep breath, "We'll be using a phone for it, I can't explain all the details while driving anyways." His brief explanation was quick, the lights changing to green.
She didn't really have a full understanding of how things worked around here yet however she gathered information on everything she saw, everything people did and said. Not many things went ignored by her while she attempted to piece together how things worked in these times.
Tsuru picked up the phone that once belonged to Evira, "Teach me how this works."
"You already know the basics, figure out the rest." Was his response taking the phone from her hands, "But right now I need you to pay close attention." He soared a glance at her momentarily, "I'm gonna give you two options-"
"Wait right there." Glaring at him she interrupted, "We already had a plan, so what are you making up?" She studied him up and down, she believed that whatever he was to say had to do with what he had been plotting since dinner.
He snorted at her, "Stop being paranoid Tsuru, I am not plotting against you. Now shut up and listen." Making a turn he took a deep breath, "The first one you make the deal with Keir, the second one... you don't ."
"Why would I Allon, I've been planing this for centuries." She gritted her teeth, "Besides why give me a second option when you know I'll go for the first?"
He stopped the car and turned towards her, "What if you fail? What if you don't kill him and can't get Evira back? What then, what could I possibly tell Caron?" He clutched his fist soaking it onto the seat, "Tell me!"
She shifted in her seat her back facing him, "It'll turn out." She gripped her own hands together, "I know what I'm doing-"
Allon didn't let her finish slamming her head on the dashboard the temple of her head receiving the impact, her body going numb. His eyes widened at what he did covering his face with his hands, "Damn it Tsuru!" He grabbed onto her arm and pulling her to wake her up having no response.
He moved closer to her leaning her on the seat, pressing his hands against her face, "Please wake up... don't be dead." Feeling something trickle in his hand he moved it away, seeing it had been blood coming out her ear and slipping down her neck.
However deep slumber can bring deep fears
Tsuru's eyes fluttered open looking around herself, a place she knew far too well and hated with every fiber of her being. The endless void seemed to mock her, welcoming her back to the prison. Closing her eyes pulling at her hair, the strands knotting onto her hands. When she came to open her eyes again there wasn't avoid anymore, dirty streets lying under her feet. What mesmerized her was the fact that people where walking around, all doing their own thing.
