"What do you want me to say Allon? I'm planning really..." she let him know, that was the reason her eyes were so distant. Why she didn't react to anything, she was lost in her own world. Trying to fix a way she could take her revenge on Keir.
"Anything so far?"
"How does bathing in lava sound? Too drastic?" She asked, "I mean it sounds great... just where to get the lava..."
"How about something with a little less fire... drowning is good..." he tried giving his opinion, "Any new memories?"
She was silenced again, her thoughts drifting to her most recent bit of memory she regained, "I remember how his body reanimated... and saw me in the lamp... he was glad I was trapped. And then he left."
Allon didn't know what to tell her, he didn't even expect her to have answered him. Trying to make it less awkward he rubbed her back for a second but quickly retracted, "Let's just see what happens when you see those old places. Might ring a bell..."
"Maybe it does... maybe it doesn't. Maybe I lose my mind again." She answered, looking over at him from the corner of her eye, he was nervous. Looking in every direction and tapping his foot.
"Tone it down on the maybe's there." He mentioned to which she turned to him with a raised eyebrow.
She turned her body towards him and leaning against her arm, "It will bring back memories, it will bring back nothing and it will make me go crazy... better?"
He fiddled with his hands uncomfortable, yet slightly annoyed, "Alright, I get it. You're in a mood, again." He didn't know what he was doing until he grabbed her hand, "I'm just trying to help."
Frozen by his touch she took long in moving her hand away, "I... thanks Allon. Have you... by any chance heard of Keme? Did he call or texts you?"
Allon tightened his fists for a moment, "I did talk with him."
Hearing that Tsuru looked at him expectantly, "What did he say?"
"Nothing much really, it was all about this trip." Allon crossed his arms and continued, "He isn't sure if he's coming."
"Could we try calling him?" Her question went unanswered as he began getting up to leave them plain. Passing her one of her bags.
"We'll talk about that later." Grabbing the rest of their bags. He didn't mention anything about him till they rented a car and got in it. His hands wrapped around the wheel, his knuckles starting to turn white.
"Allon? Will we call him?" She asked her fingertips gracing the fabric of her pants, "Will we talk about it now?"
Taking his phone out of his pocket he put it on speaker and it began ringing. As soon as she heard the third ring Tsuru turned around, she was regretting calling already. But she didn't tell Allon and continued to hear the phone ring.
"Hello?" Keme's voice was finally heard on the other side.
Tsuru opened the door and left leaving Allon with the call on his own.
"What was that?" Keme asked only hearing the bang of the door as it closed.
"Tsuru... well looks like your absence actually has an effect on her. How are you doing?" Allon made small talk taking the phone out of speaker and pressing it on his ear.
"As much as I hate admitting it myself... I do miss her. But I'm not going there yet. So keep me informed of everything." He spoke.
Allon tapped his fingers against the door, "Well we've rented a car, she stormed out after wanting to call you and I'm about to head out looking for her. We're following the setup you sent me if I do anything that's not there I'll let you know."
"Alright... bye." Hanging up Allon walked out the car, finding Tsuru leaning against the back and looking at the floor. Clearing his throat she looked at him, "Come on, we've got places to be."
He didn't question why she left the car, why she wanted to call Keme and just left as soon as he answered the phone. Getting back in the car and starting the drive, looking at her from the corner of his eye.
A deep sigh left her lips, "I'm sorry for walking out. I didn't know what to tell him... so I left."
Grabbing her hand he intertwined their fingers, holding onto her tightly, "It's all fine."
