Axel's PoV:
"Do you want to know my plan?"
The God Of Worldly Systems asked me as he looked into my eyes while waiting for me to respond.
As I had expected, the God Of Worldly Systems was indeed scheming about something and he would need some assistance from the heroes that he had summoned into the World Of Deus which was me and another hero.
I wasn't against any plan that the God Of Worldly Systems might have in mind as long as it wouldn't endanger my teammates especially Aerin.
"You don't have to worry about your teammates. But, it will be possible that your teammates will go against you if you listen to my plans. If you listen to my plans, your teammates would not be your enemies but instead, your enemies will be the God that had summoned and supported your teammates."
The God Of Worldly Systems reassured me which was to me, not too reassuring since my enemies wouldn't be my teammates but instead, the God behind my teammates.
I wasn't that confident in going against the Gods in the Divine Realm since it would be much more difficult than going against all of the inhabitants in the World Of Deus.
It's like I would be playing hell mode in games after finishing hard mode which was to defeat the Gods instead of the Demon Lords.
I knew that if I started to listen to the God Of Worldly Systems' plans, then I wouldn't be able to oppose his plans. Instead, I would be forced to accept his plans.
"I will indeed force you to assist me with my plans only if you listened to my plan. I wouldn't force you to accept my plans if you won't listen to my plans. But, I will grant you a lot of benefits and inside information if you assist me with my plans. Either way, your life in the World Of Deus will change after meeting with me. After all, I will hand you this memory orb first before you listen to my plan."
"I will let you decide if you want to either listen to my plans or not after you obtain some of your memories. But be warned, the memories that I will be giving you will put you in an unconscious state for a day outside the real world. I will also be forced to stop you from absorbing your memories if it would harm you."
The God Of Worldly Systems explained the benefits of me assisting with his plans and he also gave me two choices which were to accept or not accept in listening to his plans.
The God Of Worldly Systems handed me the blue orb that was floating on his right palm and as soon as I touched it with my hand, several memories were flooded into my mind and it was played scene by scene.
I found out that I wasn't real. No, I was real but I did not have a body in my past life.
I was only a fragment of a person, an alter ego to be precise. My situation was similar to Axel 2 (Cautiousness) who was also an alter ego.
I was an alter ego of a boy named Alex Eternalsoul. That's why I felt somewhat familiar with him when he was summoned into the World Of Deus. He was the one who I treated as a blood-related brother of mine.
The reason why my slavery skill didn't work on Alex Eternalsoul was that there was a system that protected Alex from the slavery skill that I had cast on him.
I also remembered the real cause of my death. I didn't die but instead, I went out of Alex Eternalsoul's body because his body couldn't house two souls at the same time. That was why I decided to go out of Alex's body.
I had used an extraterrestrial substance known as 'Soulerium' to create my soul so that was why I could reincarnate.
I found out the reason why I had forgotten most of my memories from my past life. It was because I had sacrificed my sanity to absorb Alex's sufferings.
After I found out about that, I didn't regret it but instead, I was glad that I did that in the first place.
The backslash of absorbing Alex's painful memories and sufferings caused my personality to be somewhat broken while my memories from my past life were temporarily sealed by the God Of Worldly Systems.
The blue orb that the God Of Worldly Systems had given to me wasn't my memories but instead, it was a key to open up one of the seals that sealed my memories.
There were only two seals that the God Of Worldly Systems had used to seal my memories and since he used one key which was the blue orb to open up one of my two seals, I only had one seal left before I could access all of the memories from my past life.
I had found out about the two seals that the God Of Worldly Systems had used on my memories because of the blue orb containing that memory.
I didn't obtain any memories from my past life's invention except for knowing about 'soulerium' since I still couldn't create or use it because it came from another world or space.
The substance known as 'soulerium' came from a meteor that fell on Earth. Alex Eternalsoul had not found out where 'soulerium' originated from but he found some clues about it.
Alex had speculated that 'soulerium' was a fragment of the system. I found out from my memories that there was a system known as 'Chuunibyou System' back on Earth from my past life.
"Oh, that system? It was a mid-tier system that I had created to improve the abilities of the inhabitants of the Earth that you have lived in. The useless God that governed Earth didn't even grant the humans from your past life abilities so I took that advantage to bestow my power and influence towards your former home planet."
It seemed that the 'Chuunibyou System' that Alex had learned about was a product that the God Of Worldly Systems had created.
I had some doubts that the 'Chuunibyou System' wasn't created by the God Of Worldly Systems and instead, an imitation by one of the Gods.
So does that meant that 'soulerium' originated from the 'Chuunibyou System'?
"Yes. You have used the fragment of a system or also known as soulerium which Alex had called to label the fragment of a system as a material to build your soul. Your soul possessed immense power and it can withstand most soul attacks that your opponents would use against you. Also, artifacts and skills that remove your soul from your body wouldn't work against you as long as it isn't as strong as a Beyond God Rank."
Well, that was great to hear. I don't have to worry about God Rank artifacts and skills that could remove my soul from my body and my soul's durability was greatly increased by the fragment of a system.
So even if I died, there would be a possibility that I could be revived again into another vessel or even my body as long as it wasn't destroyed.
"You will not die as long as you aren't reckless enough to attempt in defeating one of the demon lords in your current state. At most, you can only severely injure a demon lord but if you reach level 100,000 and obtain powerful skills, you will be on par with a demon lord."
I was quite happy after hearing that my power have improved to the point that I could severely injure a demon lord in just one month.
But wait, did that meant that the demon lords would start attacking the heroes including me since one month had already passed?
"Yes. But you don't have to worry about your teammates. The demon lords aren't that stupid to attack you without taking advantage of the fact that you haven't stopped training. Since your teammates are still training, the demon lords and their army could easily conquer the kingdoms."
The God Of Worldly Systems was right. My teammates and I had yet to visit most of the kingdoms and we only had visited Eldion, Sylmys, and the Holy Church.
Eldion was safe for now because of my influence and the criminal slaves protecting it and no demons would be too dumb to attack the Holy Church since it was one of the safest places in the World Of Deus because I and my teammates were protecting it.
The elves in Sylmys had the environmental advantage against their invaders since Sylmys was surrounded by numerous tall trees. Elves were most proficient in nature magic than any other elements so the demons who would invade Sylmys had to be proficient in fire magic.
For that reason, I did not have to worry about Eldion, Sylmys, and the Holy Church.
The other kingdoms were vulnerable to the attacks of the demon army so all kingdoms must have been on high alert.
Anyways, I wouldn't lose that much in assisting the God Of Worldly Systems and I might even benefit more.
"I'll listen to your plan, God Of Worldly Systems."
