I attempted to move my body while wearing the weight magic handcuffs.
It was much harder to move as if the world's gravity was 10 times much stronger but it was still bearable.
I added more weight into the magic handcuffs which made it harder for me to move my body.
As I was getting used to the weight of the magic handcuffs that were being bound on my body, I checked my system stats and saw that my speed stat was slowly increasing.
My training had proved to be useful so I added much more weight but I forgot to adjust the weight I added so it made me fell to the ground due to too much weight being applied to it.
I focused all of the strength in my body into my feet and tried to stand up but it still wasn't enough to resist the magic handcuffs' weight.
You know what?
I'll just lie on the ground and wait for my body to adjust to the weight being applied and sooner or later I will be able to withstand it.
********
An hour had passed and my body was now able to withstand the magic handcuffs' weight.
My speed stat had increased by 2 million which was multiplied by 10 due to my [The True Hero] passive skill.
My speed stat had increased by 20 million and was now a total of 30 million.
Since my speed training was considered as successful, I doubled the weight of the magic handcuffs and it made my body forcefully being slammed into the ground.
I applied all of my strength into my hands and lifted myself. I was only able to lift myself by 10 centimeters.
My hands wobbly shook as it was struggling to withstand the weight of the magic handcuffs.
Beads of sweat formed on my forehead as it slowly trickled down on my neck.
I struggled as hard as I could to withstand the weight of the magic handcuffs while enduring the pain of my muscles being forcefully overused.
Every time I got used to the weight of the magic handcuffs as if it was my usual weight, I kept on doubling the weight value of the magic handcuffs.
My speed stat kept on slowly rising as I endured my speed training.
There were often where both my defense and attack stat had increased due to my muscles being tempered.
I kept on my training until I was fast enough to be able to escape from an archdemon's grasp.
********
Five hours had passed and now my base stat was 100 million which if was multiplied by my passive skill then it would equal to 1 billion speed stats.
I was now much faster than the speed of sound but was almost as fast as the speed of light.
Forget about the fastest human, even the fastest land mammal back on Earth would lose a race against me.
I had also acquired a new skill which was [Dash] and [Flicker].
It was used for a fast burst of movement speed which was almost similar to teleportation but instead of using magic, I would use my speed to dash or appear in a certain place.
The only downfall of such skill was I couldn't move in 0.1 seconds after I had activated the skill and for speedsters, it was a long time where I would be exposed.
I had also practiced both skills so now [Dash] and [Flicker] were at level 5 and if I reached level 10 or also known as MAX level, it would reduce the time I couldn't move by 0.05 seconds.
My defense and attack stat had also reached 15 million in base stats which would equal 150 million if it was multiplied by my passive skill.
I was now ready to confront those demons that are at the archdemon rank or below.
Of course, not by fighting but by running away or also known as a tactical retreat.
But since I had also improved my attack and defense stat by accident, I would be able to attack the archdemons while running thus accomplishing a hit and run tactic.
I would launch a burst of strength as fast as a speeding train as if I was a bullet and then kill the demons who will harm the people in the Holy Church.
By killing the demons, it would drastically increase my level and complete my emergency task. It was the same as killing two birds with one stone.
No! Even if I had attained such improvement, I must still train my speed stat until the demons were here so that I would have a better chance in dealing against an archdemon.
Unfortunately, the weight adjusting magic handcuffs no longer had any effect on me since even if I used its full power, it would only be made me felt as if I was carrying a pail of water.
Now I need to ask Mathew to steal another weight adjusting magic handcuffs.
I hope that Mathew was now wide awake or I would need to forcefully wake him up.
I went towards the Holy Church and entered it.
Now that I think about it, how was Axel faring?
********
Axel's PoV:
"Huff... Huff... Huff....."
As I was gasping for breath, I looked around my surroundings as the trees were blown away due to my mana outburst.
"Finally! I had improved my mana pool and now it can store up to 50 billion mana points."
I yelled at the top of my lungs.
I felt elated and euphoric after I had experienced all of the impurities in my mana pool being purified.
"I had destroyed and rebuilt my mana pool at least 3,666 times and I had endured the pain of my mana pool being crippled that it even leveled up my pain immunity skill to MAX level."
"Now whenever I get hurt, I will only feel 90% of the usual pain."
"It's time to go back. I also need to train Alex and Distere so that they would be able to contend against supreme demons and archdemons."
Now that I could use my mana whenever I pleased, I could use magic without even caring about the mana cost.
I activated [Teleport] and set the coordinates to the Holy Church's training ground.
"I finally finished my training! Now I'll go back and teach both Alex and Distere about mana control!"
