But as soon as he looked behind from the rear-view mirror, much to his horror, he realized another car was locking them from their back.

Left with no other choice, the driver could only powerlessly wait and leave their fate at the hand of the rubbers. Of course, if it was anything too dangerous, he was planning to just push the gas pedal to its ends even if it wrecked his car.

A few seconds later, someone exited from the car in front of them as he casually sauntered in their direction.

Meanwhile, observing the silhouette covered in shadows, to their distress, Hu Yuexin and the driver spotted a baseball bat being carried by the figure too. This made them afraid even further.

Walking before the taxi, at last, the other person knocked on the window of the taxi while mouthing, "Drop those two and fuck off if you don't want to die."

Catching these words, the driver immediately realized the assaulter seemed to have a beef with his passengers. This promptly made him somewhat relieved as he gazed back at Hu Yuexin, "I'm sorry… but please get off my car. I don't wanna die in the middle of nowhere."

By now, the terrified Hu Yuexin had already realized it was Fan Tong staring at her from outside the taxi wearing an evil grin.
