369 Goodbye 4

Name:The God Virus Author:MadReader
'Sigh…' shaking his head, the possible consequences of him not going back became transparent to Virus immediately, 'there is a high chance of her death as one of the casualties. Although she might get lucky and live, the possibility of that is just too slim.'

'I told her she's mine; that I won't leave her alone. So even if it's just to keep that promise, I should go back, right?' Having finally reached a conclusion, determined, he ordered the driver with no hesitation whatsoever, "Turn the car around, we're returning to the hotel at once."

Hearing this declaration, the driver's face went pale, "B-but, s-sir… it's too dangerous, there's no way I'll go to that messed up place. I'm sorry, but I won't-"

Before the driver could finish his rejection, however, a futuristic-looking handgun was placed at the temple of his head before he heard a chilly order, "I said return… or die. Your choice."

"Y-y-yes, sir!" Scared out of his wits, heeding the order, the driver promptly made a U-turn.

Even Amara was surprised to hear about Virus' wish of wanting to go back. She was even more thunderstruck at the sight of the gun inside his grasp, 'Eh, where did the gun come from? Did he always carry that around with himself? Why didn't I notice it before?'

Nonetheless, putting her sense of astonishment aside, Amara advised, "Aizen, I-I think it's better if we don't go there… I mean, why do you even want to return? There's nothing for you to-"

Once again, interrupting the other side, Virus exclaimed rather emotionlessly, "You can get off the car if you don't want to come. It's your decision."

Honestly, Amara didn't get why he wanted to go back to such a dangerous place. Of course, that was the case since she had no idea regarding the events that had taken place between Virus and the Chinese beauty.

Notwithstanding, after that, Amara also turned quiet. Even though she was afraid, she didn't want to leave him alone in the middle of such a battlefield.

Since there was no one else to try to stop Virus anymore, under the direct command of Virus himself, the driver pushed the gas pedal to its very end as the limousine sped in the direction of the hotel in trouble.

Five minutes later, Amara and the golden beauty were staring at the horrifying scene at the far distance with their eyes wide open.

"Wh-what is that thing…?!" Shrieked Amara while gaping at the creature at distance. She was certain that she had never seen such a petrifying monster in her entire life.

"I-I don't know. That thing's really huge!" The golden beauty also had the same opinion as Amara.

At the same time, while staring at the giant tentacle monster far away, Virus mumbled a few words in all seriousness, "An infant Plant Kraken."

Barely catching this shocking revelation of his, a shiver went down the golden beauty's spine as she wondered in disbelief, 'That monster which is around fifteen to twenty meters only in height is an infant? What would the mature one look like then?'

Currently, the so-called infant Plant Kraken had already covered a rather tall building under its long overarching tentacles as it seemed to be pressuring the building beneath itself to come down from all sides.

Crack~ Boom~

Soon afterward, under the fearful gazes of Amara and everyone else watching from every direction, the tentacles successfully forced the above portion of the building to crumble apart as it all came crashing down on the sections below. Therefore, the entire building which could even be called a small skyscraper caved in and fell into numerous pieces. The building was down.

"O-oh my God! That building's destroyed! It ruined the entire thing so easily!!! Th-that monster… who can even kill that thing?!" With her face already very pale, Amara stuttered.

Although she didn't have an in-depth knowledge regarding the rifts, she still watched the television from time to time and thus, she at least had a rough knowledge about the current strongest creatures that popped out of the rift now and then.

However, no matter how hard she deliberated on that topic, she couldn't recall having ever witnessed any other creature as powerful and strong as this one anywhere!

Not talking about its enormous physique, the mere fact of how effortlessly the creature was demolishing various buildings with no injury whatsoever was already way above the scope of her imagination.

Meanwhile, after bringing down it's sixth building, the Plant Kraken quickly moved above another nearly medium-sized skyscraper.

"Ah, that's our hotel!" Screamed the golden beauty while trembling at the sight of the tentacle monster targeting the place they had just left. Even the mere notion of envisioning what could've possibly happened to them in case they hadn't left the place made her very apprehensive and uneasy of the entire situation.

Beside them within the car, noticing the gigantic plant life's next target, Virus expression seemed to turn a lot darker as he abruptly pushed the door of the moving car open!

"Ah… Aizen! Wh-what… what are you doing? Please don't leave! You'll die!!!" Shouted Amara helplessly. Even though she wasn't sure, she had the hair-raising feeling that Virus was about to go and fight the apocalyptic monster head-on. She couldn't even imagine his tragic fate if he indeed did try to do that.

Although she was aware that Aizen was rather strong after having witnessed him easily killing a Guardian, she still didn't believe Virus was capable enough to go against such a sinister monster!

In fact, she had a hard time believing that anyone in the entire world would be able to fight that thing alone. It simply sounded nigh impossible, 'Maybe… maybe there'll be some hope if several strong guardians partied up… I-I hope.'

Still, even if it was just to calm Virus down, she added, "Let's just leave, okay? The dispatched Guardians will arrive soon. I'm sure they'll be able to easily deal with the disgusting monster themselves!"
