"$800 raised in the short timespan that was lunch... Are you two perhaps monsters?"
Aurora was dumbfounded when Takei and Akari came back to her with the spoils of war.
They had managed to completely sell out of everything and made a large profit in an extremely short amount of time.
There was no way that Aurora could've suspected something this unprecedented.
"Ahaha, I think we got a little carried away by the momentum," Takei chuckled.
"A little? We had double the amount of the intended goal..." Akari said, with a tinge of expression.
Without saying, Akari was the MVP of this fundraiser, so Takei was planning to spoil her plenty when they got home.
Aurora had a glimpse of how hard they worked, so she wasn't too entirely taken aback by the amount of money raised. "You managed to reach an impossible goal that I set on purpose, and then doubled the amount of the goal. This is too unreal!"
"An impossible goal that was set on purpose...you say?"
"..."
Takei was not too amused with what he had just heard come out of Aurora's mouth.
Foreseeing her rapidly-approaching death, Aurora tried to make an appeal to the only person who could save her. "Akari, please protect me from him! I didn't do it with bad intentions, I was just curious!"
In contrast to what she thought would happen, Aurora would only fall into the pits of despair after hearing what Akari had to say.
"Takei... Go get her."
"Noooooo!"
On this day, there were rumors spreading about a mummy roaming the corridors of the school.
However, only a select few knew that it was the student council president wrapped up in bandages.

On the way home from school, Takei and Akari decided to visit a nearby shopping district that was right next to home.
Since they had been pretty busy lately, there hasn't been as much one-on-one time between the two as they would have liked.
That's why they were going to have a nice and relaxing after-school date today.
The ring that I gave her looks amazing on her hand. Even the necklace I gave her a long time ago still looks as beautiful as the day I bought it. Looks like she's really been taking care of my presents.
Takei was extremely elated to see Akari wear the stuff he bought for her, which resulted in a lady smile forming on his face.
"Is there something on my face?" Akari asked, confused as to why Takei was staring at her.
"Nope," Takei nonchalantly replied, while grinning immensely.
Even though she was confused as to what was happening, Akari was inwardly happy to see Takei grinning so laxly. "Mhm, okay."
The first stop for this after-school date would be a smoothie stand that had extremely good ratings and reasonable prices.
"What are you thinking of getting?" Takei asked.
Akari stared at the menu intensely. "Hmm, I think a strawberry shake?"
"That sounds like a good choice, I think I'm more of a mango-banana shake kind of guy," he replied.
Realizing something important, Akari looked at Takei with great urgency. "Should you be drinking this? Aren't you on a diet?"
"Let's call it a cheat day," Takei shrugged. "If I can't enjoy a smoothie with you, then maybe that herculean body isn't for me."
Akari was surprised at how easily Takei revealed the depth of his feelings. "O-oh, okay."
After buying their smoothies, they took a stroll around town looking for fun things to do.
"Ah! Look at that!" Akari pointed.
There was a small arcade that was filled with a lot of different games to enjoy.
Since he knew that Akari was fond of cute stuff, Takei knew exactly what she wanted. "Let's go get some stuffed animals!"
Feeling that she had been seen through, Akari cowered behind Takei in a very cute fashion.
However, her pursuit for cuteness eventually overpowered her embarrassment.
"Please get that cute black cat right there," Akari bashfully said.
Takei bowed and took a stance befitting a servant. "As you wish, princess."
When they went to head on inside, Takei noticed another couple leaving.
If it was just any normal random couple, he wouldn't have reacted, but they were a bit eye-catching.
To be more specific, the girl was the most eye-catching.
She had long silver hair that fell all the way down under her shoulders, which was the ideal hair length in Takei's opinion.
It was a real shock seeing such an exotic hair color in a country where the most common hair color was black.
The girl was an absolute bombshell, but Akari was still better by a long shot in his opinion.
Not to mention, the guy she was with wasn't a slouch either.
He had a handsome face with short brown hair that gave him an intellectual yet laid-back aura.
If Takei hadn't been affected by his middle-school crisis, perhaps this is what he would've turned into.
"Hurry up, Haru! There's a line forming at the next shop up ahead!"
"Alright, I got it. Make sure not to trip, Shizu. There's a lot of bumps and divots in the pavement over here."
Takei could tell that they were very intimate with each other, but not exactly dating yet.
There's definitely some sort of feelings forming between them, but I'm not exactly too sure what they are yet. Nevertheless, I hope they have a bright future ahead of them.
Turning his back on them, Takei entered the arcade with a determined expression.
It's time to clear the entire arcade of plushies for my beloved princess! Mwhahahhaha, anyone who stands in my way is mincemeat! All hail the beautiful princess, Akari!
