305 Perfect Boyfriend

"Oh my God! This is so beautiful. I could never imagine that a garden could look so pretty," Jia Li exclaimed, standing at the entry.

The wedding was being held in a quaint little garden. The place had a Victorian feel to it. Picket fences had been set up as a boundary to the place. Small vibrant shrubs and ferns were dotted with the placement of sundials, obelisks, and gazing balls amongst them.

A birdbath had been placed at the curve of a serpentine flowerbed. A small fountain was giving the yard a look of grandeur and elegance. Cast Iron tables and chairs had been set up for the guests to sit on post the ceremony.

But the true delight for Jia Li came from the small swings which had been set under various sturdy trees.

Hui was thoroughly enjoying the animation on her face. He even snuck a few pictures of her exclaiming over various things.

"Aren't you being the perfect boyfriend today? I am impressed," Eric stood there with a naughty smile on his face.

In a white tuxedo, Eric looked charming enough to make enough girls swoon over him. As a concession to the occasion, Hui had dressed formally as well.

At Eric's words, Hui straightened his expressions and said defensively, "you must be mistaken. I was just helping her. She asked me to click the pictures."

"Oh, look at you getting so touchy. I came over to introduce you to the groom before others start arriving. The bride's family has also left and should be here any time soon," he said.

"Uh… ok, but I can't see Jia Li around anymore," Hui said, suddenly realising that she had vanished while he had been talking to Eric.

"Gosh, stop being a worry hen. She won't disappear in the next ten minutes that you leave her alone. Let her enjoy the place," Eric couldn't stop laughing.

He knew that bringing Hui and Jia Li on this trip had been the right thing to do.

"Ying Hui, meet Ethan Hunt. He is my boss, mentor and friend. And Hui, this is my brother who fell for an oriental beauty few years ago and never recovered. He is going to pay the price for it today," Eric introduced the men, in his trademark style.

Ethan shook hands with him warmly and said, "I am really glad to meet you Mr Ying. I have heard great stuff about you from Eric. I am so glad that you could join us today. Have you not brought your date alongwith?" he asked, remembering that Eric had mentioned about it, the evening before.

Hui told him that she was in love with the place and was roaming around soaking it in.

"Chu will be glad to hear that. The place was discovered and chosen by her," he answered with a smile.

Ying Hui made his exit from there after a few moments as more guests started to arrive. Even the bride's family had arrived, everyone looking splendid.

He didn't wait to meet them and instead went to look for Jia Li. It was as if he couldn't bear to stay away from her today.

Hui found her sitting on one of the swings, her gaze fixed somewhere distant. She looked picture perfect. Bringing out his phone, he clicked what was the umpteenth picture of her today. He couldn't get enough…

"Just help me find a spot where I can see the proceedings but am not in the centre of them. And for heaven's sake, get rid of this chair till the time the ceremony doesn't end," Tang wrote to Patricia on the screen.

"Just because you are looking slightly handsome in the tuxedo, you think you can boss over me? Why should you hide away at your own sister's wedding? I think this place near the centre is good. You can see the wedding rituals and also the stunning view around. By the way, you sister has some really good taste. I feel like I am at some British Lord's manor from the eighteenth century. The place is stunning. How on Earth did she find this venue?" Pat exclaimed.

"I believe that she was chasing a story when she stumbled upon this area and fell in love instantly. She had declared right then that this would be the place where she would get married. I believe it took quite a bit of convincing on her part to arrange permission to hold the marriage here," Tang typed on his phone.

After Pat helped him sit, she went to put the wheelchair away. Tang took the time to tug at his sleeves and pants to try and sit as comfortably as he could under the circumstances. Surveying the place, his eyes fell upon a guy who was shrugging out of his jacket. As Tang watched, he went and put it on a woman's shoulders, who was sitting on one of the swings.

He fancies the woman! Tang thought to himself.
