Chapter 32 - The Eclipse Dragon's Faith

Ryūsei manages to rescue Catherine in time as the ground beneath them was shattered.

"Are you alright??" Ryūsei asked as he slowly drops Catherine. "I think so.... I'm sorry for being careless Grandpa" Catherine replied.

The Corrupted Elementalist suddenly roared as the sight of Catherine pissed him off as soon as he roared he suddenly launched an assault to Catherine.

But before he could hit Catherine, Ryūshi manages to kick the Corrupted Elementalist at the face and knocking him back to a nearby rock.

"Ryūsei, Get Catherine out of here!!! The Corrupted Elementalist is after her" Ryūshi yelled as he draws out the sword he just bought.

The Corrupted Elementalist then began to roar once again and soon a rainbow sphere on his mount as a tremendous amount of energy began to gather.

"That attack..." Ryūshi was then shocked on what he is seeing. "Everyone get away from the Corrupted Elementalist hurry" Ryūshi yelled as he quickly both grabs Ryūsei and Catherine as they distance themselves from the Corrupted Elementalist.

The Rainbow sphere then exploded releasing a shock wave around them hitting anything in it's path.

Lucky thanks to Ryūshi, Ryūsei and Catherine weren't hit from the shockwave.

"What was that??" Ryūsei asked. "The Rainbow sphere it showed earlier, That was Jikan's spell" Ryūshi replied.

"That spell release a shockwave around the caster that once you get hit, It messes the flow of time around you" Ryūshi added as he is now treating the Corrupted Elementalist a threat.

"What do you mean by "It messes the flow of time?"." Ryūsei asked. "Take a good look at the wounded Elementalist over there" Ryūshi replied.

Ryūsei then looks at the injured Elementalist from earlier which was unfortunate as he didn't dodge the Rainbow blast. He's body was rapidly aging as the blast release drained the remaining time it has in the living world.

His hair turned white, His body suddenly turned thin until he was thin as if he was rotting inside.

"Catherine, Go back to the inn now" Ryūsei yelled as he was still horrified on what he just witnessed.

"But I can't just leave you here-" Catherine complain before Ryūsei yelled once more. "Go!!! I can't risked your safety, Don't worry me and Ryūshi can handle this"

It was the first time Catherine saw his Grandfather like this so she didn't argue any further and she quickly headed back to the inn.

"I'm sorry but I can't let you go near her" Ryūsei then casted a spell and a sword made of light appeared in his hand.

"C-C.... Catherine!!!!!! Catherine!!!!" The Corrupted Elementalist then began yelling. He kept roaring and roaring releasing a tremendous amount of shockwaves.

The Corrupted Elementalist was out of control he went totally berserk, Explosions occuring left and right with Ryūsei and Ryūshi tried to hold him off.

Catherine continued to run but no matter the distance between them she kept hearing the explosions.

"Grandpa..... Ryūshi.... I hope you'll be okay" Catherine muttered as she continues to head back to the inn.

After a while of running, She manages to arrive at the town and the minute she arrived there were a lot of Elementalist outside.

It turns out the explosions and the roars coming from the hills were still heard even if your still in the village which startled most of the Elementalist.

They quickly gathered and began heading towards the mountain where Ryūsei and Ryūshi were fighting.

Catherine then quickly rushes back to the in where she saw Jikan, Yuki, Kasai, and Sora gathered inside one room.

"Catherine where have you been??? And where's Ryūshi and Ryūsei." Jikan quickly asked.

"What's going on out there??? We were sleeping in our rooms then suddenly we heard a loud roar and explosions started to occur" Kasai asked.

Yuki then notices a wound on Catherine's knee, It turns out when she was running back she fell down and hurt her knee.

"We were patrolling in the mountains when we suddenly heard a yell. Me, Grandpa and Ryūshi quickly went to where the yell was coming from...." Tears then fell from Catherine's eye. "We found the Corrupted Elementalist and right now..... Grandpa and Ryūshi are fighting it" Catherine then fells down to her knees as she continues to cry.

"Hey hey, There's no need to cry" Yuki then began to hug Catherine. But at that moment Jikan fell down and Kasai quickly catches him.

"The timeline..... it's drastically changing" Jikan said as he was exhausted. "C-C-Catherine..... You're fading..." Yuki then began to worry.

"This is bad, If the timeline changes completely, Catherine you'll disappear from this world. We need to defeat the Corrupted Elementalist before that happens." Jikan then slowly gets up as he slowly approaches her. "Take me to Ryūsei and Ryūshi, Hurry" Jikan then fell to the floor once again.

"Jikan, I'm sorry to say this but Crowned Dragon or not, You are in no condition to fight like that." Yuki then slowly yells.

"You Ryūgū's are annoying" Jikan muttered. "Ryūshi and Ryūsei need my help, The Corrupted Elementalist imitated my Elemental Art and Ryūshi can't use his, They're already at a disadvantage." Jikan replied.

"That's why were going there all together" Yuki then breaks the hug and stands up. "I'm sure everyone here feels the same way, They all want to help, We don't want you to disappear" She then looks at Catherine and smiles.

"Well Ryūsei can't have all the fun to himself" Kasai happily said. "I'll be sure to do my best to help you Catherine" Sora happily smiled.

Catherine began to feel overwhelmed as they were willing to put their lives in danger for her. They quickly went outside and headed off to the mountains.

They quickly ran, Jumping from tree to tree, Dashing and running as quickly as they can to the open fields where the fight is going on. But unfortunately the closer they got the more horrific events took place.

They arrived at the plains and it was a horrific site to see, Dozens of Elementalist were kill, A few died after aging so fast and the worst part of it all..... Ryūsei was covered with blood while Ryūshi was doing his best to protect the surviving Elementalist.

"Grandpa!!!!" Catherine shouted as he saw Ryūsei was covered in blood on the ground. The Corrupted Elementalist saw her presence once again and he quickly kicked Ryūshi knocking him to a nearby rock and quickly he approaches Catherine.

"Eclipse Dragon Moonlight Sonata" Catherine casted a spell Catherine's hand was then covered with a blackish aura. The Corrupted Elementalist was then in front of Catherine. But before he could attack Catherine already punched him in the face release a tremendous shockwave knocking him back.

"Eclipse Dragon Moonlight Synergy (Fox)" Catherine then casted a spell and a mysterious aura then surrounded her creating a fox like figure enhancing her speed and strength.

She then quickly dashes to the Corrupted Elementalist taking him head on. ,"What are you guys doing here??" Ryūshi asked as blood began to flow from his head. "We came to help, It look like he got you good" Jikan replied as he then teases Ryūshi.

The Corrupted Elementalist then roared releasing a tremendous shockwave knocking Catherine back but thanks to her reflexes she manages to avoid tumbling down.

The Corrupted Elementalist was then covered in a blackish aura creating a fox like figure as now he was just like Catherine.

"Eclipse Dragon Moonlight Sonata" Catherine then casted a spell and Catherine's right hand was then covered with a blackish aura. She then quickly approaches the Corrupted Elementalist hitting him directly.

Blow after blow she casted the same spell again and again hitting him again and again, The Corrupted Elementalist was helpless against Catherine because Catherine was quicker and more flexible dodging each attack he made and countering him after.

It wasn't long until the Corrupted Elementalist adapted to Catherine's fighting style and soon he manages to catch Catherine holding her neck.

He was gripping it tight as he was trying to cut her head off and Catherine wasn't strong enough to remove his grip from her neck. She became light headed due to the lack of oxygen she is breathing in and was about to pass out until.....

"Meteor Dragon Photon Assault" Ryūsei shouted as he quickly cuts the Corrupted Elementalist arm off and rescuing Catherine.

The Corrupted Elementalist was furious, He was about to launch an attack on Ryūsei for cutting of his arm. "Fire Dragon Inferno Knuckle!!!!" Kasai then casted a spell and punches the Corrupted Elementalist with flames surrounding his fist knocking it back.

Even though Kasai knocks kim back with his attack earlier, The Corrupted Elementalist was still standing as his attack earlier didn't do a thing.

He once again decided to chase after Catherine but before he can move he was trapped. "Sky Dragon Skyblitz Prism" Sora then casted a spell and the Corrupted Elementalist was trapped inside a cyclone barrier. "Yuki!!! Now!!!!" Sora yelled.

"Ice Dragon Blizzard Blast!!!!" Yuki then casted a spell as tremendous amount of ice energy then began gathering in her arrow.

She then releases the arrow and a tremendous Ice blast hits the Corrupted Elementalist freezing it completely along with the cyclone prison.

"Catherine are you alright!!!" Yuki then rushes to Catherine. "I'm fine, He just caught me off guard that's all" She replied.

"That was so careless of you!!!! You're just like your Grandfather" Yuki then began to pinch Catherine's cheek as she tries to scold her. "Grandma it hurts!! It hurts!!!" Catherine yelled.

But unfortunately the arm that Ryūsei cut off earlier attacked extending it's spike around it hitting Kasai from behind. "Kasai!!!" Sora yelled as some of the spikes penetrated Kasai's shoulder and knees knock him down.

"Sky Dragon Skyblitz Blaster" Sora casted a spell a gun made of Sky Dragon energy appeared in her hands.

She immediately began shooting the arm but it has a mind of it's own as it dodges the bullets and soon it approaches the frozen cyclone prison.

It immediately destroyed the cyclone prison and reattach his arm once again.

The Corrupted Elementalist was free once again he then roared once more and he quickly approaches Sora and launches an assault before she can even react but thanks to Sora's ability. "The Sky Dragon Blessing", The Corrupted Elementalist arm was destroyed in an instant.

He quickly roared once again but this time he had rainbow spheres around him. He decided to launch the spheres at Sora for destroying his arm and unfortunately both Yuki and Sora were hit with rainbow sphere.

They quickly turned to young and small into there kindergarten age around at the age of 4. Ryūsei, Ryūshi and Jikan were confused on why did the Corrupted Elementalist turn them back to kids but Catherine on the other hand was blushing red. "Chad you Pedophile!!!! Pervert I hate you!!" She yelled with her face all red.

"Eclipse Dragon Moonlight Sonata" Catherine then casted a spell and Catherine's right hand was then covered with a blackish aura. She then quickly approaches the Corrupted Elementalist hitting him directly.

"This is bad, Kasai is in no condition to fight as well as Jikan. She thought. "Ryūshi is busy healing Kasai and Grandpa is badly injured" Her face then began to turn red. "And Yuki and Sora.... They were turn to kids..... That pervert!!!". She then began focusing her mind as she thinks of a strategy.

"The only thing I can think of is casting that spell... But if I do that..... It'll change the timeline drastically" She thought. "Grandpa, Ryūshi, Jikan, Yuki, Sora and Kasai risked there lives for me.... Now it's my turn to risk mine" She then looks at Ryūsei giving her a smile, Ryūsei was of course confused on what's going on. "Goodbye Grandpa... It was nice meeting you" Catherine happily said as she then slowly walks to the Corrupted Elementalist.

"Catherine!!! What are you doing!!!" Ryūsei yelled. She just smiled and soon she began casting a spell.

"Dragon Sage Secret Art: Tsukuyomi Resonate"
