Aisha was standing at the door in Eli's room. She was watching him while his asleep. It was after she heard what Sophie and Lisa told her about Caleb. They were thinking that Caleb was dead base on the gunshots that they've heard before the line cut off.
But Aisha has her own thoughts. She doesn't believe that Caleb is dead. Not yet until they find his body. As far as Aisha knows, Caleb is tough. He's a strong man. He might be an easy-go-lucky guy on the outside, but when it comes to his profession, he is one strong guy.
"Larry, didn't you say you tracked Ethan's location when he was abducted?" Aisha asked when they went outside the house.
"Yes Madam."
"So that means he was waiting for his men. how are they?"
"They're a little late but we don't have any update from them yet."
"Can you call the leader of the troop?"
"I've been trying since I heard about Caleb. But he is not answering his phone."
"Lend me a car and some of your guns too." She faced him. She was planning to go and search for Caleb.
"But Madam, It's quite dangerous. Can't we wait a little longer? Our men might have Caleb with them." Larry was troubled to let her go alone.
"But a little longer might be too late! I'm still hoping that Caleb is alive somewhere out there. I'm going back." She insisted.
Larry sighed. This woman is definitely stubborn.
"But you have to take at least five of our men with you. Even if some of our men were already there, I can't let you go alone. Sir Ethan will kill me if he discovers this."
"Okay, I will."
"Alright. I'll just go and prepare the men who'll go with you." Then Larry went to the other building.
As soon as Larry entered the huge building before them, Aisha jolted in realization. Wait, the place! Is this the Williams safe house? Why does she feel like the place is a private military camp base with a private house and a private hospital in it?
After a couple of minutes, Aisha saw Larry with five armed men approaching her.
"Aisha, these are some of our best men here. They will be of great help to you."
"Thank you."
"Just tell them what to do. And also, the guns you requested are in the car."
"Thank you Larry, We're going."
The men settled in the van while Aisha took the Mercedes car.
"Wait! I'm coming with you." Aisha gaze at Sophie running to her location.
"No Sophie! It's dangerous!"
"You'll need me! I will help. I want to see if my brother is really dead!" she was firm. Aisha looked behind her and saw Lisa with a guilty expression.
"I also want to come, but I'll just become a burden to you. Don't worry about Eli but please find Caleb." Lisa uttered without looking at Aisha's eyes.
"Yes, We'll do." Aisha hugged Lisa. After a few seconds, Aisha released her and got inside the driver's car. Sophie, on the other hand, run to the passenger seat and fixed her seatbelt.
"Be safe and make sure to come back alive." Lisa bid them farewell.
Aisha was driving crazily fast but thank goodness, Sophie was used to the way she drives whenever she's upset. The men in the van behind them made sure to catch up.
"Are you also hoping that Caleb is still alive?" Sophie broke the silence.
"I'm not hoping but I believe he is. Caleb is a tough man. He had survived a lot of dangerous missions before."
Sophie smiled. How could she forgot that her brother is not an easy guy to kill. He's been there than that. If Aisha believe that Caleb is alive, then she must also believe it.
They were able to reach the crossroad going to the forest. Aisha signaled the men to follow her on the other side. They can't possibly go directly to the Villa. They can't take chances. Enemies might still be lurking around. But before they set off, they must hide the cars first.
Each one carried their own weapons while Sophie took the Sniper rifle. It was Caleb who taught her how to use it and he was definitely a great teacher because Sophie surpassed their father's expectations.
"Stay here. Whatever happens, promise me that you will save yourself, okay?" Aisha tapped her shoulders.
"Ehm. Take care."
Sophie prepared her stuffs and position herself somewhere safe. She can see Aisha and the men slowly but vigilantly heading to the Villa. Aisha was giving them signals—ayah! They took different routes.
Yes, it would be easier to find Caleb if they spread out.
Aisha scouted the surroundings of the house; everything is ruined. It's not habitable anymore. dead bodies are everywhere and she cannot spot any live person. Did they all die?
Perhaps a secret hideout? Maybe an underground hideout? Possible! She'll find out. Larry also said that Ethan's men came here a while ago, but where are they?
Her phone suddenly rang.
"Larry, wazzup?" she was whispering.
"Madam, the men we sent to rescue Ethan were already back. Some were injured, some died but Caleb is not with them. Shawn, the leader of the troop isn't with them too. It is possible that he might still be there."
"Okay, got it. We'll search for him as well." Then Aisha hung up. So if that's the case, then they must have an intense encountered. But she thought that the explosions decreased the numbers of their enemies, what happened? Were there more men who arrived at the scene? possible.
But where did the other's came from? And Also, she can't see Rogue everywhere!
She's done scouting the Villa's perimeter but she didn't see anything nor any secret hideouts. She paused in a moment as she looked back to the forest. Wait! Caleb was in the forest. Then that means that he must have hide somewhere out there too.
Yes! that's right! he must be somewhere in the forest. She called the men to their meeting place earlier. Sophie was curious as well as to why they were back so she went near them.
"Caleb had positioned himself somewhere in this place as well. So come to think of it, he must have gone somewhere in the forest when he saw men coming towards him. let's spread and search everywhere." Aisha suggested.
"Yes Madam!" the five men agreed, then they stormed the forest.
"Let's go." Aisha and Sophie went their own ways. Everyone is searching for Caleb. Hours had past but still, they can't find anything, not even a single body so each one returned to the meeting place.
However, one of the men called out, "Come over here!"
The others followed as well as Sophie and Aisha. they were so shocked to see a lot of dead bodies all around. In front of them was a deep cliff. Aisha and Sophie went near and Sophie spotted a phone on the ground.
"This is Caleb's phone! I'm sure." Sophie shook a little when she realized something. Did he fall from the cliff? No! she covered her mouth in shock.
There was some blood at the end of the cliff. It is possible that they have shot the person and that he fell in the bottom. Aisha shrugged her thoughts. No! She must be positive!
"Caleb where are you." she whispered.
After checking the cliff, Aisha ordered everyone to go back since they can't possibly explore the bottomless pit because it's too deep. that's out of their league already.
While walking back, they heard some movements from somewhere. Everyone held their guns thoroughly. Wait! Could it be a wild animal perhaps?
The movements continued. One men tried to approached it signaling the others to prepare their weapons. They nodded.
The guy slowly treks the leafy way towards the unanimous movement. Then it stopped! Was he noticed? He looked behind him, his companions were watching over him. they gave him an assuring smile so he continued.
"We got your back." It was an assuring eye message.
Then all of a sudden, the movements stopped. He picked up a broken branch and threw it from where he spotted the movement then he immediately parted the banana leaves in front of him. To his surprise, before him was a body lying on the ground.
"Don't move or I'll pull this trigger!" A wounded man suddenly appeared behind them and pointed out his gun on Aisha's head. She raised her hands in surrender.
