107 CHAPTER 107: POSSESSIVE FUTURE BOYFRIEND

"Have you seen dad and Uncle Archie?" Aisha asked Sophie when she visited Caleb who just woke up.

"I saw them earlier. They were in a rush as they rode your dad's car. If I heard them right, then they should be going back to North State." Sophie answered while preparing Caleb's food.

"They went back home? but why?"

"I heard them speaking about an uprising uproar inside the organization. I'm not sure though but some elders have been calling dad asking if the news about your death is true."

"My death? How did they know about that?"

"It's all over the news. But the strange thing is that, the news was about Stacy not about you, Aisha."

"It's definitely strange." She was in deep thought when Caleb suddenly speak.

"That only means one thing— there's someone targeting you inside the organization. I think he's also behind those bounty hunters."

Sophie and Aisha pondered on Caleb's words.

"That's possible. But who could that be?" Sophie uttered her thoughts.

"I have a hint but I must confirm that first." Caleb suggested.

Caleb had been doubting someone inside the organization but he can't voice it out yet. Not yet until he proves it.

"By the way, how are you?" Aisha suddenly asked Caleb.

"As you can see, I'm still alive and kicking!" he chuckled. he was caught off guard when Sophie spank his head.

"Ouch! What's that for?" he made a face.

"That's for scaring us! Don't you ever do that again." Sophie threatened.

"Hey, I didn't even know how I survived! Isn't it wrong to call you guys and bid farewell?"

"It's not wrong to call! but dying is!" Sophie was aggravated. "Do you know how nervous I was? I bet you haven't seen how Lisa mourned that very moment!"

"Oh, speaking of her, where is she?"

"She was all dress up earlier. she told me she will be meeting Kian outside." Aisha unknowingly answered Caleb.

"What? she's seeing Kian?!" Caleb suddenly burst. His face became sour.

"Ha-ha, I smell someone being jealous! Poor you!" Sophie taunted him.

"Who said I am jealous?! Then tell her she doesn't need to come back here anymore. tell her to stay with that bastard!" he pouted.

"You're jealous!" Sophie and Aisha chuckled. They can't believe what they just heard.

"Why should I?! I don't even care about her! I just don't trust that guy! that's it!" Caleb yelled in annoyance.

"Don't you dare lie. Do you think that I didn't hear you confessed to Lisa over the phone? I think I had it recorded. wait, I'll look for it." Sophie took her phone out with a smirk in her face.

"Don't you dare do that!" Caleb threatened.

"Wait! Did you just say Caleb confessed to Lisa?" Aisha faced Sophie.

"Yeah, you heard it right. he was so dramatic; do you know that?"

"Really? Let me hear it then."

The two ladies went in a corner ignoring Caleb's warning. After a few minutes of listening to the whole conversation, the two ladies kept on laughing at him.

"Hey! I never thought you're that romantic!" Aisha tap his shoulder.

"I love you, goodbye…" Sophie tried to imitate and act out some of his phrase. They seem to be enjoying teasing him.

"Damn, why do I have to be surrounded by these kind of women?" he sighed. "Can you call hunter for me? I rather be with him than with you!" He annoyingly requested.

As soon as Sophie heard his name, she stopped taunting him.

"Oh I remembered I have a meeting to attend today. I must go first." Sophie uttered as she stood up at the same time.

"Ha-ha, you're still not over him, huh… I think I'll be calling him here then." Now it was Caleb's turn to tease her.

"I hate you!" With that, Sophie stormed outside. Caleb laughed to his heart's content.

"This guy playing dirty tricks!" Aisha made a face.

"I didn't do anything! I mean it when I said I want to see hunter." He's still laughing, "By the way, can I borrow your phone in a moment, I just need to talk to Hunter."

Aisha handed her phone before going to the bathroom. Unknown to Aisha, Caleb didn't call hunter but texted Lisa instead. He smirked.

When Aisha came out, she was surprise to see Caleb smirking.

"Done calling Hunter?"

"Not yet, I am about to." Then he dialed Hunter's number.

After a few minutes, Caleb gave her phone back.

"I am supposed to go and see him but I guess I just need to wait for him here."

"You shouldn't go outside for the meantime. Wait for the situation to cool down first."

"I know that. But I am really itching to go out. I haven't heard what happen to Rogue after that encounter."

"I think he was badly wounded too. There were more men who came to his rescue. I didn't know where they came from but If Shawn and his men didn't show up, I might be dead by now."

"I'm sorry Caleb, I'm sorry for leaving you that time." she lowered her head.

"It's no one's fault. Don't ever blame yourself for what happened to me, okay?"

"I'm truly sorry. I shouldn't have leave you back then." She teared up. Caleb reached her head and caressed it.

"Shhh… Such a cry baby! I told you it was never your fault. I'm just glad that you are safe. I won't ever forgive myself if something bad happen to you. you know that right?"

He was taken aback when Aisha suddenly embraced him.

"I'm so sorry! You were always thinking about my safety. I'm sorry that I wasn't there when you needed me the most." Her sobs can be heard outside the room.

Lisa and Ethan was standing on the door. It was slightly open so they heard their whole conversation. They don't want to interrupt the two so they just stood outside waiting for the conversation to end.

"You were there. you came back for me, remember? If you hadn't come back, I should be dead by now." he smiled at the cry baby who was embracing his waist.

"If something like this happen again in the future, always remember how much I love you." he tapped her head. Aisha nodded.

"But there should be no next time for situation like this. I won't ever forgive myself if something bad happened to you, you should know that as well."

Lisa was surprised when Ethan released the doorknob and walked outside the building instead. His face was sour and Lisa knew exactly why. She experienced that before. She was once jealous because if the two's closeness but she proved that their relationship will never exceed to a romantic one. She followed Ethan out.

"Ethan, wait!" But he continued to stride inside the house.

"Ethan! I know you're upset about what you saw and what you heard. But you should know that it's not what you think it is." she yelled. Then Ethan paused.

"What do you know about my thoughts, huh?" His voice hints some frustration.

"I've been there before. I know how you're feeling right now. seeing how close they are and hearing how they talk sweetly to each other looks like they're in a special romantic relationship. But I just want to let you know that it's not something like that. You should trust Aisha's feelings towards you." Lisa explained.

"Huh! how would you even know that?"

"Because I know. All I can say right now is that, you must trust her."

Then Lisa left him and went back to the other building. She knocked before opening the door.

"Lisa? How come you're here? I thought you went to see Kian?" Aisha was a bit surprise.

"Eh? Didn't you send me a message? I drove back as soon as I received your text." Lisa creased a brow.

"Message? I didn't send you one since you told me that you will be seeing Kian." Then Aisha's eyes landed back to Caleb who is innocently reading a newspaper. She made a face.

"So does that mean that you weren't able to meet Kian?" Aisha was glaring at Caleb.

"No, I cancelled our meeting since you said it was an emergency. I'll just be seeing him tomorrow."

"I don't think you'll ever see him again since you have a very demanding and possessive future boyfriend here." She chuckles, "Lisa, you should know that I didn't send you a text, someone did, pretending to be me."The women looked at his direction at once but Caleb averted his eyes innocently.

Dang!Women! Caleb sighed.
