133 CHAPTER 133: IMPRISONED

The sky is quite dark when Sherry and Stacy got off the car completely. The maids were waiting for them then took the picnic basket and the blanket at the back of the car.

"I'll have them prepare for our dinner. Wash yourself then come to the kitchen after, okay?" Sherry implored Stacy.

She nodded in response, "Ehm. Thank you." she responded. They entered the house hand in hand but parted when they reached the hall separating the staircase and the dining hall.

"See you in a bit." Sherry spoke cheerfully as she heads to the kitchen.

Stacy was about to climb the stairs to her room when she heard a loud thud coming from the kitchen, she paused.

"Wait! What if Sherry fainted in the kitchen?" her thought lead her to go and see the woman. Indeed, she found Sherry on the floor but her eyes widened when she realized what truly occurred.

She was holding her burning cheek. Then Stacy averted her gaze on the man standing in front of Sherry. He was fuming in anger. Silver! He must have struck Sherry's face with a blow since her cheek was piping hot.

"You! How many times have I told you not to go the park?!" his raging voice echoed in the kitchen. The maids dare not to help their pitiful madam because of their fear towards Silver.

"And you even take Stacy with you? didn't I tell you it's too dangerous for her to be seen in public?!" he continued. Stacy wanted to help the woman but she herself was rooted to where she was standing.

A familiar fear had enveloped her whole body that she can't even move even if she wanted to. This scene. It's kinda familiar to her. This kind of scene, she had witness this before. her knees trembled unknowingly.

"If I didn't act fast, then you should have been ….'' Silver got a hold of his words.

"What? we should have been what?" Sherry bellowed then she glared at him with contempt.

Silver was taken aback when he saw her despiteful gazed. He didn't expect that Sherry would retort this way.

"I've had enough of your over protectiveness Silver! I'm tired. I'm so tired! You said I am your wife but I can't even feel it that way! Why do I feel like a bird being imprisoned in this house? I can't even do what I want to do. can't go anywhere I want without your consent. You are treating me like a child. I am not a child, Silver!"

"Sherry…" Silver uttered.

"What? you'll tell me that this is for my own good? For my own safety? I'm tired of listening to those reasons of yours. I've been everywhere secretly but nothing had happened to me. you might not know but being trapped in this house is giving me a headache. I think I'm losing my sanity!" She yelled hilariously.

"You might not know but I've had those thoughts to end my life already, cause I'm basically tired." Sherry started to shed tears.

Silver wanted to hold her but sherry stepped back.

"Do you know how it feels to have unexplainable nightmares every night? have you ever had the feeling that you don't belong in the world that you are in. Do you know that all these years, I've been feeling like a living dead breathing someone else's life? But since Stacy came, I suddenly felt alive!" she smiled a little, then back to her gloomy face.

"But how would you even understand that? Your selfish. You only think about yourself and for your stupid revenge." She glared at him. "You might have not notice it, but what you are doing isn't for revenge anymore, It's already thirst for power. You only care about yourself, nothing more, nothing less."

"Sherry you know that's not true! Everything that I do is all for you!" Silver explained.

"Lies! It's all lies! Nothing you did is for me. Everything is for yourself!" she turned away from him.

"From now on, I won't let you control my life anymore. Kill me if you want to but I will never succumb to your demands to any further extent. I will do what I think is right for myself." Then she walked away. Silver wanted to chase after her but he hesitated.

Sherry paused on her tracks when she saw Stacy standing still. She was shocked to see her in a vulnerable state.

Did she hear everything? Sherry averted her eyes in shame. After a while, Stacy fell on her knees, with tears in her eyes.

"Stacy, are you okay?" Sherry run to her side. She observed the young woman who was shuddering in fear as tears streamed from her eyes. she was clenching her chest as if she was having a hard time breathing.

"Stacy, what's happening to you?" Sherry held her with worry written all over her face. Silver was looking at them in shock. He himself doesn't know what to do. what exactly is happening here?

"Call the doctor!" Silver shouted at the maids standing in a corner.

Stacy weakly stared at Sherry's eyes. her eyes housed mixed emotions; pain, fear, nervousness, guilt, pity. "Momma…" she whispered softly before she landed at Sherry's arms. She fainted!

Silver's eyes widened when he heard what Stacy whispered even if it was too soft for his ears to hear.

What was that?! Did i just heard her said something? Did she call Sherry "Momma…"? wait, did she remember something? Silver's eyes widened in surprise. No! it can't be.
