135 CHAPTER 135: SHE’S GONE

Sherry held her breath when she saw the unconscious Stacy. She yelped then Silver hurried to scoop Stacy and brought her to her room. After a few minutes, the doctor came in and did a thorough check up.

"She's good. Just let her rest for the meantime." The doctor stated.

"But wait doctor!" Sherry held his arm. "Can you tell us the reason why she suddenly collapsed?"

The doctor looked at Silver for a while. As soon as he received a cue, he faced the anxious woman.

"Madam, it appears that she was stressed out the past days that's why her body gave in. all she needs is a total rest." The doctor lied.

"S-stressed?" Sherry sounded unconvinced. What happened earlier was not a mere cause of stress. Sherry knew that very well. "Okay, thank you." she dejectedly released her grip on the doctor's arm.

"Your welcome madam. I must ask for apology if I have to go home right now. my daughter is currently celebrating her eighteenth birthday so I need to go." he kowtowed. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay. we apologized for disturbing you doctor." Sherry acknowledged the doctor's expression of regret.

"I will see him out." Silver who was standing behind her spoke but Sherry did not reply. She is still mad at him. Silver must have felt it so he went out with their doctor.

As soon as they reached the garage, Silver asked the doctor after securing that there isn't anybody around.

"What's the real deal with Stacy?" he asked.

"Silver, Stacy must have witness a familiar event that triggered her subconscious mind. I think she had some unresolved issues in the past that she tried to suppress before and now it was triggered by an event." The doctor explained.

"Do you recall what was the last incident that she had witnessed before she lost her consciousness?" the doctor continued.

Silver then recalled what happened earlier. He was having an intense confrontation with Sherry that time. but wait, did she possibly witness the blow he gave Sherry? He was in deep thought.

"We had an argument with my wife. Stacy must have witness and heard everything. I'm not sure." Silver clarified.

"Do you know if she was maltreated in the past? if that was the last thing she witness before she went into that state then she must have had some terrible experiences in her past." The doctor enlightened.

"If you don't want this to happen again, you should avoid any instances of disputes in the future." The doctor warned. "Also, I need to check her again. If possible, I have to do it in the hospital. looks like she has a grave problem with her health too."

"I understand. Thank you for coming doctor. I'll make sure to let Stacy know about your proposition as well." Then Silver bid farewell. As soon as the doctor went home, Silver went back to Stacy's room. he stared at Sherry who was holding Stacy's hands. Worry is visible in her eyes.

"Sherry, you should eat first." He uttered softly. He waited for Sherry's respond but he never heard anything.

"Sherry…" he was about to walk near her but Sherry stopped him.

"Don't. come. Near. me." she spoke fiercely without looking at him. she was beyond mad.

"But Sherry---''

"Don't even speak to me because you'll never want to hear my next statement. Get out!" She yelled.

Silver was taken by surprise. Since when did Sherry learned to be vicious? Where was the calm and gentle woman that he knew? He can't believe what he just heard but he needs to leave before all hell gets loose.

Meanwhile, Ethan was looking at the sleeping woman beside him. at least her face is a bit calmer unlike earlier. if he can describe her condition a while ago, it would be like that of an abstract painting. After a minute, Ethen doze off.

***Aisha woke up with her head spinning and vision was a bit blur. She wiped her eyes but she had a hard time adjusting with the sunlight that had peered through the windows. She rolled to her side only to see an empty space.

Ah, Ethan must have gone to work by now, she thought. then she stood up and head to the shower room. she washed her body and wore some clean clothes then walk towards the kitchen. She suddenly felt her stomach grumbling.

Ah, my phone! She remembered. So before she treks the staircase, she went back and grab her phone on the table. Upon checking, there are five miscalls from Lisa then one from Caleb. she creased a brow.

While walking down the staircase, she tried to call Lisa and Caleb but she was not able to get a hold of them.

Wait. why does it feel like something isn't right here? She mulls over. She was in the middle of the staircase when she paused. She can't see any servants around the house. Something is definitely not right. She was in deep thought when she heard some clatters downstairs. Slowly, she came down conscientiously.

As soon as she reached the Sala, she halted when she saw a woman sitting on the couch. She was facing her backside.

As far as I know I am not expecting any visitor today. she thought as she creased her brow. And this person couldn't be Lisa cause if she is, then she should have raided her room with or without Aisha's permission. It couldn't be Sophie either. Then she walked closer.

"Uhmm… Excuse me miss, how may I help y---'' Aisha didn't finish her statement but her eyes widened in surprise and her jaw dropped when the woman stood up and faced her.

The eyes, nose, lips… no! It's the whole her! she stood rooted to where she was standing. She's looking at someone who really looks like her.

"S-Stacy…?!" she was shocked for a second.

"Erika…" the other woman looked at her with a tearful eye. Aisha wanted to run beside her and embrace her but Stacy bawled.

"Stop! Don't come near me. Please, don't!" Stacy panicked as she staggered backwards

"W-Why? what's wrong?" Aisha tensed as well. Looking at her anxious sister, Aisha was able to feel the eerie environment in the house. Enemies! She was sure that they are hiding somewhere in the house. Stacy saw that her sister had figured it out so she screamed.

"Run Erika! run! Run for your life!" she heard Stacy.

BANGGGGGG!!!! Then a loud gunshot echoed in the house. Blood! blood sputtered everywhere!

No! Stacyyyyy!!!! Aisha blurted as she dashed to her sister's side. Blood was gushing from her mouth.

Stacy, please stay with me. Sissy! Aisha yelled in frustration as she carried her sister's head close to her chest.

"Erika…I-I am sorry…" Stacy weakly uttered, then she slowly closed her eyes. She's gone!

"No! Stacy!" she roared in despair as tears streamed from her eyes.
