Tears escaped her eyes when she saw her agony. Ah, how she wishes to carry the pain on her own. How she wants to go and hold her hands to comfort her. she has never expected to be reunited with her sister this way. It's beyond her expectations.
Aisha and Lisa reached the seventh floor and went directly to where Stacy was. It was a VIP room with private rooms for the visitors and watchers. But Stacy was inside the restricted glassy room. her condition reached the peak so Ethan delegated all the excellent doctors to take good care of her. all her medicines and treatments were given a thorough assessment to ensure the best service possible.
Ethan also enlisted her as a priority for bone marrow transplant that's why almost all doctors that specializes with cancer were doing all their best to search for possible donors.
Aisha was trembling as she covers her mouth with her hands. Tears streams down to her cheek. She can feel her knees giving up. She staggered backwards, good thing Johnny was there to prevent her from falling.
"H-how is she? W-what exactly is happening?" she asked when she settled on the couch.
"Leukemia, stage four." Johnny lowered his head.
"No!" she cried. Lisa was seating beside her as she caresses her back. After a few minutes, Aisha was able to get through her emotions. When she calmed down, she noticed Ethan was standing in front of Stacy's room. they locked gaze at each other. however, Aisha averted her eyes. pain and guilt filled her heart.
"I hope you won't mind if Stacy stays here. But I assure you that she is the hospital's top concern as of the moment. All the doctors are doing their best to save her as well as looking for a possible donor." His voice was a bit distant. Aisha didn't even raise her head to see him. what's the problem? She herself doesn't know.
"Thank you." Johnny uttered.
"If you'll excuse me, I have to go." Ethan walked out the door as soon as he finished talking.
Lisa stared at Aisha for a minute. "Aisha, are you sure you'll just let him leave like that?" however, she didn't hear any response.
"Yah!" Lisa hit her head. "Hey, are you even listening?"
"I'm sorry Lisa, I spaced out." she gaped at her.
"Yes I can see that very well. But are you really going to ignore Ethan for the rest of your life? can't you even see how tired he was for taking care of your sister?" she snorted.
"I don't know what happen but I just want to let you know that Ethan had been a great help not just to me but especially to Stacy. I thought he will ignore her because of what she did in the past but surprisingly, he's been helping her since he found out about us. Also, I never saw him rest the past few days." Johnny shared.
What? his been helping Stacy since then? How foolish is she to blame him for a simple matter? She was guilt-ridden. She's so selfish to think that Ethan didn't notify her early because of his unresolved issues. She heavily heaved a sigh.
"You better go and resolved whatever misunderstanding you have before it's too late." Lisa pushed her.
"Yes, I will." Aisha stood up and strides outside the room.
She spotted Ethan however he was already on his way to the elevator.
"Ethan!" she shouted trying to get his attention but the elevator door was already closing. She tried to catch up but her stomach suddenly burst in pain.
"Ahhh!" she cried as she fell on her knees. She was clasping her sore belly, big sweats started to form on her forehead. Dang! she cursed inside.
"Are you okay?" Aisha heard a familiar voice. His tone is full of care.
"E-Ethan…" she looked up to see the most alluring man she had ever met. The man knelt down and scoop her and brought her to one of the empty VIP hospital room. as soon as he spotted the king size bed, he laid her down.
"'Stay there, I'll just call the doctor." Ethan was about to stand up when Aisha held her arm.
"Ethan…" she mumbled lightly. "I-I'm fine. you don't have to call a doctor."
Ethan faced her and observed her closely. Something isn't right about her but he cannot point it out.
"Ethan, I'm sorry." She uttered awkwardly. "I know it wasn't your fault. You didn't do anything wrong. I'm sorry I yelled at you and said a lot of hurtful words. I'm truly sorry!" she shed some tears. "I should have thanked you instead for taking good care of my sister."
"It's okay. I understand your reason. I should apologize for not telling you first." Ethan replied but he was not looking at her at all. "I'll just call a doctor."
Aisha noticed his emotionless face. Why did she suddenly felt unease? Is Ethan mad at her? why does she feels like Ethan was a bit detached towards her? now she's anxious.
"Ethan…" she whispered. "A-are you mad?"
"I'll just call a doctor." He coldly responded then he went out. Aisha felt a pang of guilt. Oh wait, no! it's not guilt. Her heart ached. Did she do this to him? she cried as soon as Ethan excited the door.
After a few minutes, Aisha wiped her face, stood up and went out of the room. then she went back to Stacy's room. She notified Johnny and Lisa that she will visit Stacy's head doctor to be tested for bone marrow transplant.
"Are you sure? don't you want to rest for a moment?" Lisa suggested.
"I'm okay. I should go now." Aisha was about to get out when Lisa stopped her.
"Wait! I'm going with you."
"No you don't have to. please stay here with Johnny. I'll just be real quick." She smiled pleadingly. Lisa saw the sadness in her eyes but she let her go.
"Okay. call me if you need some help, okay?" Lisa stated while Aisha nodded in response.

Aisha had been waiting for the result of her pre-screening test. After a few minutes, the doctor came in with an emotionless face.
"Miss Aisha Mikasa, I regret to tell you that we can't continue with the screening for now." The doctor stated as soon as he sat on his chair.
"Doctor, what do you mean?" she was shocked. "Is there's a problem with my health?"
The doctor shook his head. "Miss Mikasa, your pregnant. Four weeks to be exact."
"What!" Aisha's eyes widened as she covered her mouth with hands. Eh? Pregnant?! She cried.
