179 CHAPTER 179: HER DEFINITION OF LOVE

Ethan had been thinking about what Aisha said earlier. forget everything? Treat it as if it never happened? How could she say such things?

He was supposed to explain everything to her. he wants her to know the real deal as to why they have to part ways for the meantime. The separation was supposed to be for a short period of time only. however, Aisha said to forget the whole ball of wax. Dang! Is it for real?

His heart ached when he heard her statement. He was caught off guard and was rendered speechless. His mind went blank for a moment. how could he forget everything that had happened between them? he treasures it more than anything in this world!

He was in pain but he never planned to leave it that way. It was never his intention to let go of her easily. so he decided to pursue her just after he finished sorting everything, including the media. At least for now, he wants Aisha to focus on her sister. who knows what fate has for Stacy?

While he was thinking, his phone ringed. He creased a brow when he saw master Omni was calling. Eh? For what?

"Yes, grandpa?" he answered.

"Ethan, have you heard about it already?" the old man asked.

"If you are pertaining about the Golden egg, yes, I know all about that."

"Well that's good then. Should I worry about that?"

"Grandpa, rest assured that it wouldn't be a problem, even if they send her."

"Good. Just make sure to protect it at all cost. You know what will happen if that goes to that man, right?"

"I know that full well grandpa. don't worry."

"Okay, good. By the way, Eli is looking for you and Aisha. when will you visit him?"

"Ah, I'll try to drop by tomorrow."

"Okay. take care then." Then the old man hung up.

After the call, Ethan decided to rest for a bit. He knew that someone will come sooner or later for the golden egg and he needs to prepare for that.

Meanwhile, Lisa went home at her old apartment. She doesn't want to go back home at Caleb's house yet. No, at least not now. she wants to be alone for the meantime so she could think properly. Now that she has full knowledge about Elise and Sahaya, she just can't set that stuffs aside.

Lisa came from a broken family as well. Her real father chose his mistress over them so she knew how painful it is for a child to grow up without a father. She knew exactly how lonely it is. Sahaya must have been wanting a father figure all her life and Elise did a great job rearing her child alone since Sahaya was able to recognized her father in one glance. It must have been hard for her. Lisa knew the struggles and she doesn't want to be selfish just because she adores Caleb.

She doesn't want to be a family wrecker. Her definition of love is selflessness. You don't just merely love the person but you must also learn to love the people or things around him. you must learn to treasure his treasures too. Caleb must have been feeling lost right now. And Lisa knew that it must have been hard for him to think about her as well as his daughter and his wife.

She was looking at the bright full moon above her. unconsciously, tears began to sweep her away. It's hard but she needs to let go. let go without resentments, let go without pain and bitterness. Elise and Sahaya needs the man she loves and she is willing to let go of this man.

"Mom, It's painful and difficult but I have to. I don't want that little child to experience what I've been through for years." She whispered. "I know you are proud of me and I am too." She smiled painfully as tears trickled from her cheeks.

Silver entered the room only to find a woman pacing back and forth with her face full of worry while biting her fingernails.

"Where is she? I want to talk to her, Silver!" she demanded.

"You don't have to Sherry. I already talked to her and everything is under control." He assured.

"That's not what I want to know. She said something earlier and I want to hear her out."

"I said that's not needed!" he yelled. "Sherry don't be hardheaded. Just follow my order, okay?"

"And If I won't, will you kill me?" she's kinda losing her control now. "I heard her very well Silver. And if Stacy needs me, I won't hesitate to help her."

"You will never do that Sherry!"

"And why not? I have full control of my life. F.u.l.l c.o.n.t.r.o.l! I am not your puppet Silver." Sherry was about to leave the room when Silver held her arm.

"Where do you think you're going?" he asked murderously.

"To save my child!" she shrugged his hand off her. Silver was taken aback with what he heard.

"What did you just say?" he faced her with a confusing eyes.

"You heard me right, Silver. I am going to save my child whether you like it or not! So don't you dare stop me!" she glared at him. Silver thought that Sherry was just blabbering. Maybe she had considered Stacy as her child just as he ordered her to do.

"She is not your child. Your child is long dead." Silver insisted. "And I am your husband. I have full authority over you. you should bear that in mind." Once again, he clenched her wrist.

Sherry stopped struggling and breaking away from his grasp. Silver thought that the reality of what he said had sink inside her head but to his surprise, Sherry faced him intently. she looked like another person and not the sherry that he used to know. what he was seeing right now was the old Sherry. That look in her eyes reminds him of the vicious Cherry-Ann Lee before.

"You were never my husband and I was never your wife!" her tone was spiteful. "And my children aren't dead yet. You might have fooled me for a long time but your lies and pretensions will never go on forever. And you're done manipulating my life!" Sherry pushed Silver's hand away as she walked out the room. Silver was rendered speechless at what he just heard.

Dang! is this for real? Did Cherry-Ann came back? Fudge, his doomed!
