She's feeling ecstatic all of a sudden. She just can't believe what she heard and now she's so excited to go back to the central state. The joy that she's feeling right now is incomparable.
Her father, Archie, called her to tell her about Sahaya and Elise. And just imagine the shock she felt when she finally discovered that Sahaya is definitely her niece. She had doubted it at first and had been planning for DNA test but due to their abrupt mission, she wasn't able to do it.
"Are you that excited to go home?" Hunter raised his brow.
"Of course yes!" Sophie yelped. "And you know what, aside from finding Sahaya and her mom, Dad told me that Aisha had already met her sister Stacy. However, she's been in the hospital for weeks now."
"Oh, that's sad. So what do you think will happen between Stacy and Ethan?" Hunter asked out of nowhere. Sophie halted and thought for a while.
"I don't know either. But I'm sure Ethan wouldn't leave Aisha for Stacy. He loves her so much, that I know."
"And do you think Aisha wouldn't leave Ethan for Stacy?"
Sophie stopped what she was doing and faced him with a disdainful face. "Will you stop asking a lot of mind blowing stuffs. Your giving me a headache!" she growled.
"Fine, fine!" Hunter raised his hands in surrender. "And have you even consodered that I just got out from the hospital yesterday and now you want me to travel as soon as today? don't you even care about my health?" he pouted.
"Are you disabled? Can't you walk?" she asked sarcastically. "Don't worry, you won't die due to some hours of flight."
"Ahy! Why did I ended up with a heartless woman." he muttered.
"Did you say something?" Sophie glared at him.
"Eh? Nothing." he leered. "I'll be in the kitchen, just call me once you're done." Then he walked out.
Hunter couldn't believe that he will be going back to the central state with Sophie as his official girlfriend. Though Caleb knew about them, he doesn't know how to face Archie once they meet. Dang! it's a hell of interrogation and explanation again just like before. then he sighed when he remembered how Archie roasted him when he discovered about their relationship before. And now he is hoping that it wouldn't happen again for the second time.
Meanwhile, Aisha and Rio had been talking for an hour now. it looks so serious so Archie didn't budge to disturb them.
"So you are saying that you want to get the golden egg, is that correct?"
"I have to, dad. I know the risk but I can't let Stacy die because of my inability." Aisha responded.
"I understand how your feeling right now. But handing him the golden egg isn't the wisest thing to do. besides, you wouldn't want to destroy Ethan, right?"
"I just don't know what to do right now, dad. All I know is that I have to save Stacy. And if Ethan would be a collateral for this, then it can't be help."
"But you don't know Silver yet." Rio meaningfully voiced.
"What do you mean dad? Do you know him?" she was confused.
"I know him very well. and he is very devious. Just don't trust every words he say." He explained.
"I hate to do this too. But if Sherry is the only person who could save my sister then I will do everything that Silver wants me to do."
"Is that the only plan you have in mind right now?" Rio asked while facing the window.
Aisha lowered her head. "Unfortunately, yes."
"I hate to say this but I can't believe that I raised you only to be weak in times like this. I wonder how your using the knowledge, wisdom and experiences you acquired in the past." His tone was firm.
Aisha was caught off guard. It was the very first time that Rio uttered such unmannered words like those. Is he really that stupid in his eyes? she thought.
"Dad…"
"As far as I know, I didn't raise an aggressive, stupid and brainless woman." his words were hitting her to the very core of her heart.
"You have never acted like that before. the Aisha I know was a woman who cares about the people whether she knows them personally or not. She believes in justice and she has a strong principle. She doesn't want to hurt other people so she makes ways to balance her actions. She never wanted to hurt nor damage someone. She plans carefully and moves cautiously. When she attacks, she makes sure that she has a second plan, third plan and some more tricks in her sleeve just to make sure she'll have enough when the battle begins. She never settles with collateral damages; she always makes sure not to have any collateral damage whenever she works. Whether to save a righteous or a sinner, that doesn't matter to her as long as she could save a single soul." Rio pronounced.
Aisha was dumbfounded by all the things that she heard from her father. How did she forget about all those things? Ah, how foolish it is for her to hurt someone just to save someone. Tears flowed from her eyes.
"I want to see that woman again.'' Rio continued.
"Dad…" she fell on her knees.
"Once again I want to asked you… who do you want to save? Stacy or Ethan?"
"I-I… I want to save them both!" she yelped.
Rio smiled. "That's the only thing I want to hear from you. Well then, since you have decided, should I give me you the best option?" he knelt in front of her.
"Dad…" she just can't contain her tears. She had never asked Rio for help before but she knew that whatever he has in mind was for the best, not just for her and Stacy but for Ethan as well.
"Aisha, you should learn how to asked for help once in a while. I know you're a strong and brave woman. but asking for help will never make you weak. Bear that in mind, okay?" he embraced her.
She nodded.
"So would you like to hear my thoughts about all these things?" he smiled comfortingly as if the solution was very simple.
"Yes dad, please…" she muffled faintly.

After some careful thoughts, Sherry decided to act on her plan so she gently knocked on the door.
"Excuse me, can you let me go to my room first? I just want to get some of my clothes. I need to change." She yelled.
The two men looked at each other waiting for each other's signal.
"I'm sorry, but Silver told us not to let you out without him." one of the guards replied.
"Please." She was begging. "I just need to change my clothes, that's it. besides, I can't possibly escape from two big guys like you, can I?" she was trying to wreck their egos.
The men looked at each other once again. Yeah, the woman was right, she can't possibly escape since the house was well guarded. So they decided to open the door.
"Thank you." she mumbled. They accompanied her inside but when Sherry was about to take off her clothes, they turned their backs on her. that moment, Sherry took the chance to get her phone on top of the table and hid it under her brassiere.
After a few minutes, she was done and they escorted her back to the room where Silver locked her up.
She took out her phone and tried to dialed Rio's number. she dialed once, twice and thrice but his not picking up.
"Pick up the damn phone, please…" she dialed his number once again as she walks back and forth that she didn't even notice Silver's arrival.
"Who are you calling?" she heard a murderous tone behind her. she jerked in surprise and turned around instantly.
"Silver!" she yelped. To her surprise, Silver snatch the phone out of her hand.
As soon as he saw the person she was attempting to call, he immediately slapped the woman then she fell on the floor. his lips twitched and anger were written all over his face.
"You dare defy me?!" he growled. "Do it once again and I'll make sure you'll face my wrath." Then he walked out before he can even do worst things against her.
