219 CHAPTER 219: FIGHT FOR YOUR LOVE

She was in shocked. Her face showed it all. eh? How come? Her thoughts were running wild. Ah, wait. her eyes, ha-ha! She's definitely dreaming. Yeah. This is all a dream, or better yet, her imagination. She then spun around, ready to leave but a familiar voice called out. No! your just hallucinating Lisa. She thought. she stepped her foot but then she felt a tiny hand on hers. She jolted.

She turned to her side and saw a grumpy little girl staring at her intently.

"S-Sahaya?" her voice was breaking. "I-Is it really you?" she hissed.

The little young girl pouted her tiny thin lips in frustration. "Is that how you welcome us?" she uttered.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.novelhall.comfor visiting.

"Eh?" she was surprised. dang! they were real! She's not imagining things.

"Aren't you pleased to see us again?" she heard a manly voice nearing her. Caleb!

She looked at the man walking near them. he was smiling as if nothing had happened between them. what is he doing here? Why are they here? She thought. didn't they break up already?

"C-Caleb? w-what are you doing here?" she voiced.

"Isn't it obvious?" then he chuckled. "I'm here to get back my woman." he smirked.

"W-what?" she bellowed. She was about to say something but a voice interrupted her.

"Oh, you're already here. Glad you came." Lisa heard a woman's voice. Lisa spun around to confirm her qualms. Only when she saw the woman's face did she dropped her jaw.

"Jane!?" her eyes widened. "What are you doing here? You…"

"Yes, I did. I'm sorry but they are my visitors." She smirked meaningfully. Then she turned her attention to Sahaya and Caleb.

"Please follow me, I'll show you your rooms for the meantime." Then Jane held Sahaya's hand as they tread the road going down. Caleb innocently followed.

Lisa was looking at them full of curiosity. Jane? How did she know about Caleb and Sahaya? Wait, did she mentioned them to her before? she was thinking.

They were already a distant away from her but still, she was figuring out whether to follow them or not. She was about to step her foot when she suddenly remembered her mom. She frowned and slowly turned to the other side of the road.

"I'm sorry." she whispered and left immediately. Caleb noticed her shadows. Though he moped but then he decided not to go after her for the meantime.

"I'm sorry that I called you out without prior notice." Jane spoke as soon as they entered a small house. Sahaya seemed to be inspecting the place and as soon as she saw a television, she run towards the couch facing it and settled her butt on it.

"Uhm, aunty? Can I watch?" she uttered beamingly.

"Of course, not a problem." Jane was searching for the remote control.

"I'm sorry about that." Caleb apologized to the woman after she turned on the television and walked back towards him.

"It's okay. I do have my own kids too." Jane chuckled. then she showed Caleb the rooms that they will be occupying.

"I made sure to get you two rooms since I heard from Lisa that Sahaya doesn't want to share rooms with anyone, except her mom."

"Eh? Lisa said that?" Caleb creased his brow.

Jane smiled at the man who just laid the luggage on the bed. "Yes. she was always telling stories about you and Sahaya for the past few days. I can sense how much she treasures you both."

Caleb saw how the woman grimaced after.

"I was actually wondering why you called us here the other day." Caleb asked. He has plans to go and visit Lisa without Sahaya but not as soon as this day. but when he received a call from Jane, he packed some of their things and scheduled a flight within the day. she even required Sahaya to come.

He learned about Jane from Lisa's story before. But this is the first time he met the woman. He could say the woman is gorgeous like Lisa.

"Just as you have seen, she had lost some weight. The lively Lisa was gone as well. I am actually worrying right now whenever I saw her. I could say she's been depressed since she came back home." Jane mournfully sat at the edge of the bed.

"I've been there than that before and I could say it was the worst day of my life. marrying someone out of love sucks out the remaining life out of you…" she continued.

"Marry?" Caleb suddenly voiced. Wait, no one told him about Lisa marrying someone.

"I guess my speculation was right--- Lisa didn't tell you anything."

"About what? Please tell me everything I need to know."

Jane smiled. "I was planning to let you rest first before I disclose to you the whole story but I have a feeling that you won't let the time pass without knowing anything." She chuckled.

"Caleb, we grew up in a conservative family with a very complicated rules and traditions. Our tribe requires a thorough obedience for its old-practiced customs. I don't even know where and how did they come up with such a stupid custom but it had been practiced a long time ago. I am also a victim of it." she glowered when she remembers her ill-fated experiences.

"A young woman can't marry a man who is either divorced or widowed. When mom and dad learnt about your relationship, mom got a heart attack. You should know that Lisa tried to fight for you." she looks at the young man who seems lost on his own thoughts.

"I called you because a week from now, Lisa will be marrying someone else."

Caleb staggered backwards. The thought of Lisa with a stranger pained him. he lost Elise because of his stupidity before, but he won't lose Lisa without a fight. He clenched his fist irritatingly.

"I don't want Lisa to experience the same rocky path that I had to endure the past years. I'm telling you it's not easy, it's hell."

"What do you want me to do?" Caleb uttered.

"Break the tradition." She was firm.

Calen suddenly laughed. "Your telling me to go against your tradition? I could do that, but it would be useless if Lisa won't cooperate."

"You don't know that." Jane stood up and walked towards the door. "If that man went against our tradition and fought for me, do you think I have to marry the man my parents chose for me?" her tone hints disappointment. "I could have supported him if he willingly chose to fight for me."

"Fight for your love, Caleb." then she went out the room.

"Fight for your love? Huh!" Caleb scoffed.

"What? what did you just say?" Rio vexed surprisingly when he got a call from Sherry. So he called Archie and immediately drove to the hospital.

After a few minutes, Sherry heard a knock on the door.

"Rio!" she unconsciously hugs the man as soon as she opened the door. She was shaking in fear; it was so evident.

"I'm sorry…" she mumbled when she realized her sudden reaction. Then she invited Rio and Archie in.

"Let me see the note." Rio replied. Sherry went to her bag and took the note and hand it to him. Then he faced Archie.

"Can you go to the security department and check all their CCTV footage? Check all the people who entered this room and call some of our men to guard the area."

"I understand." Then Archie dashed outside the room.

"What will we do?" Sherry was panicking. "Rio, we have to save my daughter!" she pleaded.

"Sherry, calm down!" he held her shivering shoulder. "I will do anything to save Aisha, but trading you is out of our option."

"But if it is the only way to save my daughter…."

"It's not the only way!" Rio interrupted. "Do you think Aisha will ever forgive me if I agreed into this? she risk her life to save you, please don't waste her efforts." He reprimanded.

Sherry lowered her head in guilt.

"Sherry, I hope that whatever happen, you will never succumb to Silver's demand in the future. This is simply a trap. Don't worry, my men are doing their best 24/7 to search for Aisha." he assured the woman.

Then he envelope the woman with his arms. "Everything will be alright. I promise." He whispered.
