While Zaos didn't sleep that much that night. He felt more than satisfied with that. Still, he couldn't help but wonder if he did the right thing as he watched Aleni sleeping over his chest. She was pretty, sexy, smart, and the only person he could trust with Milliendra's life without a single moment of hesitation. Still, he never thought of her as his real wife. Now that he thought about it, he didn't imagine anyone really becoming his wife. The ones he had considered marrying in the past were only people he could talk with without holding back his thoughts.

"I guess this is fine," Zaos thought. "I am someone who always looked for someone a bit different to marry. Besides from all the people I have met, Aleni probably is the only one who fit all my weird criteria."

The sun was starting to rise, and then Zaos noticed that they needed to get up and clean things in the room. They made quite the mess last night, after all. After calling Aleni a few times, she finally woke up, but she was hiding her face due to the embarrassment. From her perspective, she did something really embarrassing last night while being so brazen.

"It is too late to feel that way, besides it is only obvious that you would fall in love so madly with me," Zaos shrugged. "Just look at how awesome I am."

"... I don't know if you are awesome, but you certainly aren't humble," Aleni said and then got up to put on her clothes and clean herself. "Anyway, you still are leaving today to deal with the problems you mentioned?"

"Yeah… it will be better if I do that as soon as possible," Zaos said. "Once I am done with them, some of the mercenaries from those groups will probably migrate to ours and then we will finally have the chance to make things proceed more smoothly around here."

Trusting newcomers with important tasks was a big no-no. However, Zaos could give real and trained mercenaries difficult jobs. Even if their lives are put in danger, they will accept it as long as they are paid enough.

"I will be counting you from now on, even more than before," Zaos said after he approached Aleni and hugged her from behind.

"Hey… not in plain day sight," Aleni said.

"It is a bit too late to worry about that," Zaos said. "You forgot that some of our allies have crazy senses, they probably know what we did last night."

Aleni froze in the spot. She acted without thinking and didn't consider that. Still, just like Zaos said, it was too late to think about that. Not to mention no one knew that they were faking being husband and wife before.

In any case, this time, Zaos packed his armor among his things. Even though that will make things a bit more difficult for Moody, it couldn't be helped. Zaos wondered if his armor could have made much difference against Darkaun… it probably would have gotten destroyed. Perhaps Zaos had to consider upgrading it with magic as well. Like that, magic tools and weapons, armor, and shields could probably be improved… but Zaos never heard of that before.

The people around the base were starting to wake up, so Zaos decided to say goodbye to Milliendra. It was a bit too soon for her to wake up, but it couldn't be helped.

"Daddy… are you leaving again?" Milliendra asked with her sleepy eyes.

"Just for a little bit, I will return as fast as Moody legs can carry me," Zaos said and then patted Milliendra.

"Be careful out there," Aleni said.

"I will," Zaos said. "How about a goodbye kiss?"

"In your dreams," Aleni smirked.

Zaos left after giving some laughs. Things got more comfortable around Aleni than awkward. That was good. A few times, Zaos imagined that Aleni had misjudged her feelings and acted without thinking. By all intentions and purposes, she had become someone who could love another person like that, so Zaos felt that he had accomplished his mission of helping her.

In any case, when Zaos left the room, he slapped his face with both hands because now he was going to leave on an important mission. Considering the camps he was going to attack, the whole mission will last for two weeks… unless he uses the underground path that once belonged to the assassins organization.

"That place should decrease the travel time to one third of the original… this is actually good," Zaos nodded to himself. "This way, no one will find it weird that disappeared at the same time the bases were attacked."

The only problem was Moody. He wouldn't go underground no matter what… maybe Zaos should bribe him with some extra apples. When Zaos appeared in the ruins, he noticed that things were the same as before. Over the course of the last month, he put some traps in all entrances to catch criminals that might use those places as hideouts because the base doors could only be opened from inside, so Zaos had to keep them open unless he was using one of them.

Zaos checked the map of the region that he finally obtained and then checked his targets. Before doing anything, he had to select the best routes, after all.

"If I attack several bases at night, everyone will think that a bigger organisation appeared and did all this," Zaos said while smirking. "That should keep everyone on their toes and then forget about any plans of expansion."

Zaos had forgotten about how fun it was to fool his enemies… Well, they weren't his enemies actually yet, but they were planning to be, and Zaos had no intention of letting them start any battle or get close to his base. When the night came, Zaos decided on the first target in an unexpected way.. After invading the office of the leader and then getting all the money he had stored there, Zaos used Wind Blade with its maximum output to destroy and make it fall most of the ceiling of that place. No one probably died, but they will certainly get traumatized…
