Rory rubbed her nose in guilt.

She knew how much of a clean freak the man was, however she really didn't have a choice.

While the dorm rooms were sizable, once you fit a queen sized bed, a dresser, a desk, and a nightstand, there was around 10 square feet of space!

Concentrating in an area that small was impossible when working with so many items.

"It's a computer I'm working on, I promise it will be out of your way in a wee..."

Seeing the flash of coldness in his eyes Rory quickly took back her words, "No fiv..."

Rory's lips thinned at his still annoyed expression. Fine! Maybe turning the living room into her own personal building station was a little extreme.

"Three days!"

Finally, he retracted his eyes from her and went back to typing on his ŀȧptop. The aura around him showed that he didn't want to bothered, which Rory didn't mind at all.

The less attention he paid the better for her!

Not wasting anymore time, Rory got down on the carpet and got to work. From her extreme effort and lack of sleep, she had already finished the foundation of the computer, now all she needed to do was sort out the inside.

Rory rolled up her sleeves and started to attach the CPU inside of the computer. Her eyebrows were drawn together in concentration as she carefully handled the screwdriver with precision.

At this point she was bȧrėly even breathing! From the lack of sound, Knox couldn't help himself from glancing up from his computer.

The scrawny fellow had his entire head inside of the case of the computer as he placed parts in order. His normally always smiling lips were pinched together in concentration and his large grey eyes were unblinking.

Knox's typing hands faltered for a moment when he caught the sight of Rory's eyes through the glass portion of the computer case.

Only one thought entered his mind. Nice eyes...

He couldn't help himself from staring a moment longer at the eyes that were shining like diamonds.

They were full of unwavering concentration and burning excitement. This was Knox's first time seeing Rory like this.

Rory's eyes have always shone with intelligence even when he acted dumb. It was one of the reasons why he could never dismiss the weird person.

Yet, he always carried an air of sadness around him like a black cloud. No matter how uncaring he acted, it was so overwhelming sometimes that even someone as oblivious to human emotions like Knox could notice.

Only at this moment, the black cloud wasn't there.

[KNOCK! KNOCK!]

Knox blinked before hurriedly looking down at his ŀȧptop, what was he doing again?

[KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!] The aggressive knocks sounded again.

The sound broke Rory's focus.

She pulled herself out of the computer and glanced at the door before making confused eye contact with Knox.

Both of the antisocial people had zero guesses on who could be knocking.

Seeing that the person wasn't going to stop, with great reluctance, Rory pulled herself away from her project and went to open the door.

"YOU CRAZY PSYCHOPATH!"

Heh where's that psychopath at?

The person at the door was riled up only to meet with Rory's very dull stare.

Rory lifted an eyebrow at the silver haired pretty man standing outside of the door.

Andrew Silver?

Seeing who it was, she didn't bother anymore and went back to her work.

Andrew Silver stared at her back in bewilderment, who was this beautiful little weird person? He couldn't even tell if it was a female or male if it wasn't for the fact that it was in the male dormitory.

He was so surprised he forgot he was angry!

Searchingly, Andrew looked past Rory to see Knox sitting idly on the couch.

He spoke in Russian, "Knox who is the midget?"

Rory who had already starting picking up her tools again felt her face twitch. Who is a midget? She is a perfect 5'5 ok?! Who needs to get a 6 foot giant.

"Eh a smart pet I found lurking around." Knox responded in Russian as well looking at Rory in bemusement.

The hand holding the screwdriver tightened. She couldn't get angry... she has work to do!!

Andrew showed a surprised reaction and stepped around Rory's mess to take a seat on a couch opposite of Knox.

He made a mocking sound of amazement, "You are keeping pets now? Wow the great Knox Mikhalson has really settled down and started living a peaceful life."

"Couldn't really consider it peaceful. The pet I got actually has a biting problem."

A skeptical glance was shot Rory's way by Andrew.

The person was currently attaching two wires together with furrowed eyebrows. Their face was twisted as they tried to focus.

"It bites? It looks so skinny that I'd imagine the wind could blow it away." Andrew made a tsking noise.

"Knox if you are looking for a pet you should just get a dog, that way you will at least get some protection. I even heard that they are training dogs to rescue people from downing. On the other hand, look how pale it is." He motioned to Rory.

"Is it sickly?"

"Ah!" A small gasp of pain interrupted the conversation as Rory accidentally electrocuted herself. Fuck building a computer she was more interested in commuting murder!

However, Rory really didn't want to waste anytime on the two arrogant mafia members.

Looking at his friend's increasing skeptical face, Knox shook his head in amusement.

"As I said it's smart. Why are you here anyway Andrew? Also kicking up such a ruckus, is everything ok at Cloud?" Knox said in a relaxed manner.

Upon Knox's question, Andrew was riled up again.

"Ah that's right! You fuċkɨnġ psycho I almost forgot! The car crash, that was you right! Aren't you supposed to be recovering when did you even find time to commit murder!"

"Had a couple of days, also let's talk about this more when we are alone. I would hate to have to make someone disappear because they heard something they shouldn't."

Andrew was puzzled.

"Oh. I forgot to mention, it speaks Russian." He motioned his head at Rory.
