18 A New World

Maximus just stood there for a while, with his hands clasped behind his back, the two moons glowed brightly enveloping every inch of the land in a light blue mantel, the minutes drifted by silently one by one, William was already starting to think that his Master forgot about him, when suddenly Maximus turned to him and said.

\"You know why I said that killing is the greatest sin William?\" asked Maximus with a pained expression.

William thought for a while then shook his head and said \"No master\"

Maximus smiled and said \"Before I came to your village William, even before I had Felix I was just a kid who lived with his Master. I trained day after day, until my body felt like it would break apart\" Maximus could't help but smile a little as he thought of those times \"But one day, I found that my mother was in danger and I went to rescue her. When I got there my mother was barely alive, my father first wife poisoned her.\" then Maximus paused and looked at William.

\"What happened next Master\" asked William with a slight tremble in his voice.

\"I went berserk and started killing, if it wasn't for a Master from the Phoenix clan who was there at that time I there to say that I would have killed every living soul in that Mansion\" said Maximus, as if stating a fact \"It was precisely because of that incident that I almost went insane\"

William eyes widened, how could his Master who was seemed so calm and collected in every situation could say that he almost got insane just because he killed a few people, didn't he just kill some bandits just a few hours ago.

As if seeing the confusion in William eyes Maximus continued \"The people that I killed all had mothers and fathers, wives, kids, some evens had grand kids. Do you think in their eyes I was a good person who went to save his mother or some devil that slaughtered their family members, after all i could have just taken my mother and run away from there, no one could have stopped me.\"

William now understood what his master meant, but even so there was a part of him that thought that there was nothing wrong about this, after all this was a dog-eat-dog world.

But the Maximus said \"There will come a day when I will redeem from all my sins William, and until that day come I know that I will have to kill, not because I want to but because I will have to. The only reason I told all of this is because I want to change this world William, there is to much greed and violence. A world where massacres like the one in the Collis village won't happen anymore.

I want to build A New World. In the past someone once told me that we are just humans and not gods, live without regrets, make your own chooses.\"

Without even realizing William was already crying, even if he put a strong front he was but still a kid. He swore to himself that when he had the power he would go and exterminate the whole clan of people responsible for the massacre. Old, the women, the children, even the dogs and the chickens.

\"Master thank you\" said William as he stood up and bowed.

\"Good, remember with great power comes an even greater responsibility\" Maximus smiled \"Go then, tell the others that in two days I will perform the awekening ceremony\"

\"Yes master\" said William, then he run happily down the mountain and into his new lair.

\"Don't worry, when the time comes I will pay for every sin you and your brothers and sisters will commit, I will personally pay for every life that was taken\" Maximus murmured under his breath, as if knew a secret that no one else in the world knew.

At this point in time the three elders from Phoenix clan were above the Collis village.

\"How gruesome\" said one of them.

\"Something doesn't seem right\" said elder Li

\"What do you mean?\" asked elder Meng

\"Do you see those people, the way they were killed is different from that one.\"

\"Humph maybe he got bored with killing that way and wanted something new, who cares we need to find that little beast first\" said elder Zhang.

\"There don't seems to be any children corpses around\" said elder Meng.

\"Maybe he took them\" said elder Zhang.

\"Lets spread and look around for more clues maybe we can still catch him\" said elder Li

After just a few minutes elder Zhang shouted. He was holding a small pice of a mirror in his hand. This was a powerful artifact that a dececed clan head of the Phoenix clan found in an ancient realm many years ago. Its only function was to show what happened in the area, like a video camera that showed the past, but because it was only a fragment it could only go at most two days in the past

\"They came out of this cave and went in that direction, it was almost two ago\"

\"Lets go maybe we can still find him. Remember we CAN'T kill him.\" said elder Li.

\"Hahaha don't worry we know, but a Saint can live without legs, arms, eyes and tong\" said elder Zhang with a sinister smile.

After the elders left a figure appeared from under the earth, it was Nº3.

He was left behind by Kartus here because they received news from Miss Bellatrix that the elders from the Phoenix clan were coming here to look for Maximus.

\"Who knew that the elders of the Phoenix clan had such a treasure, I better send the signal and follow them\" with that Nº3 took a small stone and crushed it. Instantly the other members knew that Nº3 fount the target.

In the Collis mansion Bellatrix was sitting beside a fire place with a thin black book in her lap silently reading while the fire crackled. Her green eyes jumped from word to word, beside her was Kartus, silently waiting for her to finish.

She closed the book and looked up \"So Nº3 is following the Phoenix clan elders\"

\"Yes Miss.\"

\"Excellent!\" said Bellatrix with a sweet smile on her face \" Don't do nothing for now, just follow them and watch the battle, we need first to better understand our opponent power and character. After we have a better understanding of him we move. And remember we NEED the girl alive, without her blood opening that place is impossible, now go.\"

\"Yes\" responded Kartus as he vanished from the library.

Bellatrix stood up and went to the balcony of the library watching the two moons she went into deep thoughts \"Why did the killers of Abdo didn't want to take this job, I need more information.\" With that she took a strange dark yellow paper wrote something on it and burned it.

After talking with William Maximus spent the next to day meditating

With a loud Bang Maximus every cell in his body like it was a volcano ready to explode.

\"Something is not right, this can't be just a Heaven Grade technique, when I meditate is like the universe is an open book and I can read and understand it as long as I have enough energy I can break trough, the more I train the faster I get stronger. Maybe I should just go visit master at the border of Dryadales. And what is this strange feeling I am having, like I am pig raised to be slaughtered.\"

Maximus was still mumbling to himself when Erick came and called out \"Boss, three elders from the Phoenix clan are down in the main hall with vice boss Ashley, they are saying that they are looking for you, she already told them that you aren't here, but they seem to be 100% sure that you are, the situation is bad.\"
