7 A Shrewd Woman

Every one was just standing there without moving, until Kate trembling voice sounded.

"Wha... what are you all waiting for!? KILL HIM!!!"

Those people were all seasoned veterans there were even some Saints among them. They quickly collected them self and surrounded Maximus.

One of them a peak 9th level Master rushed and using a long sword to sliced in a sly angle from behind. Maximus didn't even need turn around he just released his aura and the man was blown to pieces.

Every one froze, the person in front of them who moments ago was just a young boy suddenly turned into a monster.

"Mo... Mon... MONSTER!!! RUN!!!!"

No one knew who was the first scream but suddenly all the people started to run.

"I already told you. All of you will die!" Maximus activated his power and a starry sky appeared behind him with two bigger and brighter stars that seemed like the eyes of a Titan. Those eyes gave people the feeling like heaven and earth where nothing, and all heavenly Daos had to bow before them.

All the people that were trying to escape felt like a heavenly mountain was pressing on them. This wasn't some martial art or special skill, it was just a barbaric way of using his power. The only thing he wanted was to unleash hell on earth. Then one person after another started to blow into pieces.

Kate and Elder Huang watched in horror as Maximus approached them.

Elder Huang saw that the situation was grave.

"Young man I don't know where you came from but it will be better if you back off now, and we can pretend like nothing has happened. After all this Phoenix Province, the territory of my Phoenix clan." Elder Huang tried to intimidate Maximus after all he wasn't sure if he could win against this young man.

"Elder Huang you can't he...." but even before Kate could finish he shouted at her.

"You shut the fu*k up!" then he looked at Maximus and said "You said your name was Maximus right? How about I compensate you and we can forget this whole situation?"

Then Maximus started laughing as if possessed "HAHAHA!!! Forget? Did you hit your fu*king head or are you just dumb? I already told you, you and that bitch next to you will die!"

Then Maximus picked up a sword from the ground and attacked the old man.

"Humph, you ignorant kid let this old man teach you a lesson" even if Elder Huang was surprised at Maximus cultivation level and at his strange power, he still was a late stage Saint expert from the Phoenix clan.

When saw the madness in Maximus eyes, so he knew that his opponent want in the right state of mind.

Maximus just slashed at the incoming without any martial art.

There was loud bang and Maximus was blown away and the wall where he landed had huge hole now.

Elder Huang was relived on he saw this. "All muscle no brain" murmured Elder Huang but his expression suddenly changed he saw Maximus come from the hole.

That blow just now made Maximus calm the rage in his heart. He waved his hand a long pitch black saber appeared in his hand, but the saber was little smaller than Elder's Huang, only 1.3 meters.

Maximus looked at Elder Huang then he moved extremely fast and chopped with his saber.

"Crap he is collected his thoughts"

Then both of them started to exchange blows at an extremely fast speed.

All this disturbance didn't wen't unnoticed.

Johnson was in his study when he felt the waves of energy " What is going on?!" he got up and rushed where Maximus and Elder Huang were.

When he got there he saw Elder Huang and a youth exchange blows at an astonishing speed only after a while he noticed the horrifying scene of all the experts of Dacian clan and other Masters, which came to serve his clan, all blown to pieces, it was just blood and gore everywhere. Rage started to burn inside him.

Then he saw his wife, Kate, hiding in a corner terrified. Johnson rushed over her side.

"Kate! Kate!!" he shouted, but she just stood there terrified, it wasn't like she never peoples being killed, but what Maximus did was just to brutal. She could still remember the face of some of them before dying.

Johnson started to shake her "Kate what the hell is going on?!? Who is that youth?"

Only now did Kate react, she looked at her husband, and after a few seconds she said "He is a killer sent to kill me and make Arnold lose his focus. Please, Johnson, you have to help Elder Huang kill him!" It must be said that Kaye truly was a shrewd woman.

When Johnson heard this he didn't think much, he took his sword from the waist and went to assist Elder Huang.

Maximus was focused on Elder Huang when he felt a vibration in the air coming from behind, he pushed Elder Huang back and dodged to the left.

"Elder I will help you delay him you take my wife and run. And tell my son that his father loves him"

Elder Huang didn't truly understand the situation, but he didn't give it too much thought, he rushed to Kate grabbed her and diapered into the sky. Maximus wanted to stop them but Johnson was blocking his way.

"Don't even think about leaving here alive, even if I have to die I will take you die with me! No one touches my family!" said Johnson in loud voice his energy surging,

Maximus just looked at him in disgust for a few seconds then said "You fu*king hypocrite. You leave that bitch alive after what she did to my mother?!?!" Maximus was barely controlling the rage inside of him when suddenly a girl came in "Master Maximus your mother's condition is getting worse, I did as you told me and using the pill you gave me expelled the poison, but her life force is disappearing at an alarming speed, she won't last longer that two or three days"

Maximus rage disappeared, it was like a bucket of cold water was used to calm him down. "Fast we need to go!"

"Wait..." Johnson shouted, but Maximus just rushed to his mother room took her in his arm and disappeared into the night sky.

Johnson's head was a mess "Maximus, Maximus, he is.... but....he can't....but he took her....but....she was...." At this point in time Johnson had much more questions than answers.
