Chapter 111: Blockade

Finally, the rumbling intensified so much that Moon Jung also realize that the ground beneath him was shaking, so after he found out what was going on and why was Kang-Ho in such a hurry he didn’t try to stop him. Moon Jung knew the significance of the event that was happening and he didn’t want to stop Kang-Ho.

“So, a trial is starting?” asked Moon Jung to himself as he started to pounder. ‘I wonder what type of trial will take place inside this dungeon.’ Moon Jung was contemplating over things that was going on in the surrounding when his thoughts came to an abrupt stop when one of his bodyguards spoke up.

“Sir, are we going towards the trial and participate as well? This would be a good chance for you to gain some benefits.” Said the bodyguard as he stepped forward.

“No, it’s too risky and we have already lost 2 men I don’t want to lose more. Burry them with respect and we will move towards the surrounding and search for any other benefits we can get from mass dungeon. As a trial has shown up out of the blue inside this mass dungeon all of the people would rush towards the trial most of them wouldn’t care about the surrounding. I believe if there are more people looking for us still even, they would be unable to resist the temptation of entering the trial themselves. This is the best chance for us as the entire mass dungeon would be our ground for next few days. Let’s not dally around and wait let’s start our search around the surrounding.” Said Moon Jung as he was extremely clear on the benefits that the trial brought with its arrival, he was sure that no one would be dumb enough to not enter the trial as trial was the best place to get skills, weapons and even levels.

Moon Jung had in the past heard about the benefits that the trials provided; he was in his heart extremely dejected that he was not able to go to the trial himself. All he could so now was stare at the direction towards which Kang-Ho had disappeared to with longing in his eyes. After a few minutes only did he calm down his heart and started to think straight. Moon Jung right now wasn’t worrying about his own life it was rather the life of his bodyguards, because he knew that his one decisions would lead these people to their death, if Moon Jung were to ask them to accompany him to the trail they wouldn’t even produce a single sound before they proceeded with him towards the trail.

-Sigh-

‘I wish I could have come here alone…..If I were to come here alone I wouldn’t have cared for my life and jumped inside of the trial and face life and death on my own. I want power, so much power that I don’t need people to protect me…. I am sorry that you had to give up your life just to save me, I promise your families would never have to struggle’ with silent tears Moon Jung moaned the death of the bodyguards that lost their lives today protecting him on from any and every danger. Moon Jung was very firm when he took vows of not letting the families of the dead suffer.

Moon Jung hated the feeling of being in control of life and death of other people, he wanted the strength, a lot of strength so that he could go alone everywhere he went and not implicate others.

“We are done sir” said one of his bodyguards after they were done burying the dead, as it turned out they didn’t just burry the dead bodyguards after they remembered their faces clearly, they even buried the dead assassins. The bodyguards tried to identify the faces of the assassins that attacked them but they were unable to place a finger on any culprit, to them it was still unclear who attack them. Even if they didn’t recognise the assassins, they didn’t worry too much as they knew they would find out the answer after they came out of the dungeon.

His voice woke Moon Jung up from his thoughts that were wondering here and there. As soon as Moon Jung snapped back to reality, he saw that all of the bodies were already buried, Moon Jung turned his eyes towards the man who called him out and found out that the man had tears that filed his eyes but he didn’t dare to cry. Moon Jung didn’t say anything as he turned around and started walking and didn’t turn back afraid, he would start crying himself.

…………………………………

Meanwhile while all of that happened Kang-Ho moved towards the location where he was sensing the centre point was located at it didn’t take Kang-Ho long to arrive at the location but soon he found out that there was a huge wall barring him from entry, so Kang-Ho started to go around the structure as the wall was just too high for him to climb. Soon after ang-Ho noticed a gate like entrance, but when he noticed the gate, his face went grim as a few distance away from the gate Kang-Ho could see a body of a naked woman laying on the ground lifeless and it was just too obvious what had happened to the woman.

A ruthless light appeared in the eyes of Kang-Ho as he saw this scene, even from far away Kang-Ho could see people just walking from near the corpse and no one even cared about the corpse as they had their eyes on just one thing that was the entrance. Not a single person stopped to at least cover the body of the woman, they just glanced at the body with pity in their eyes and walk away. Kang-Ho after seeing this, he had a very bad mood. Kang-Ho quickly moved towards the bodies.

After some time, Kang-Ho quickly buried the bodies and left them to rest in peace. Kang-Ho suddenly mutter something under his breath as he finished burying the bodies.

“Idiot, what is he trying to prove by burying those filthy Bi**hes… KEKEKEKEKE, if Boss was here, he this guy would be buried with those bodies ass well” said crome who was left behind by the group of Matt earlier. He was laughing at the fact that Kang-Ho was burying the corpse of these women that were brutally killed by them.

Suddenly as Crome finished speaking he suddenly felt Kang-Ho looking towards him suddenly, he felt as if Kang-Ho’s gaze had just pierced through his body in this deep darkness. Crome’s body jerked as he realized that something was amiss.

‘This can’t be possible I am so far away, and I am hiding behind so many bushed he couldn’t possibly spot me. I must be over thinking.’ Thought Crome as he rubbed his eyes and shook his head, trying to clear his head.

Suddenly after doing all of that action crome once more turned his head towards the location where Kang-Ho was standing but to his dismay he suddenly realized that Kang-Ho was no longer standing on that spot. Crome felt as if his heart had jumped out of his own throat as he turned his head around in search of Kang-Ho.
