Chapter 26: First Fight

With the permission of Jia Lan, Qin Feng left his team and started to wander alone in the dense forest.

This was a very dense forest and since it was a world where only alien creatures reside, Qin Feng became more cautious.

Suddenly, a light flashed in front of him that shot toward him with an amazing speed.

Qin Feng was startled and wanted to dodge but it was already too late to dodge the light so he just raised his both hands up and tried to block the light from colliding with his head.

When the light collided with Qin Feng, he was sent sprawling in the dirt and hit a big tall tree behind him.

With a grown, Qin Feng crawled up from the ground. He could feel the pain all over his body as if his body was going to fall apart. He raised his head and looked around, discovering a big black beetle-like creature at a distance of around ten meters.

This beetle was as big as an adult tiger. The horn on its head was also long and sharp. Its eyes were deep red and when Qin Feng saw it looking at him with its red eyes, for the first time in his life, he felt fear.

The giant beetle lunged forward and arrived before Ye Xiao before he knew it. It struck its front leg sideways, aiming for Qin Feng's waist.

Qin Feng hurriedly flipped over and dodged the attack.

Seeing him dodging its attack, the giant beetle got extremely aggressive as it started to attack Qin Feng non-stop. Despite how agile Qin Feng was, he still could not match the giant beetle's speed.

The giant beetle landed a hit on his back with its front leg causing Qin Feng to be sent flying while vomiting out a mouthful of blood and crashed on a tree.

Qin Feng struggled to stand up. He looked at the giant beetle which was also looking back at him with its red eyes as if it wanted to cut Qin Feng into many pieces.

This was the first time for Qin Feng when he was fighting with an alien creature.

Even though he did suffer from injuries and was feeling pain all over his body, but this pain was nothing compared to when he was turned into meat petty after being thrown down from the top of a mountain.

Although he was unable to retaliate even once against this giant beetle, Qin Feng felt his blood boiling when he looked at it.

Unknowingly to him, a battle intent burst out from his body that affected the giant beetle and caused it to retreat a few steps back.

Qin Feng took a deep breath. At this moment, he had a feeling that some mysterious power was guiding him, telling him to fight and kill this giant beetle that tried to kill him.

Qin Feng extended his hand and broke a branch of the tree that he just collided with, using it as a spear.

"It is now my turn to attack. I will definitely take care of you." Qin Feng smiled as he looked at the giant beetle. He did not even know where he had gotten his confidence.

He dragged the wooden spear over the pebbles on the ground, grass, and leaves to scatter all over the place.

As the giant beetle shrieked, Qian Feng's eyes glinted with a cold blue light. The giant beetle saw the blue light and was startled for a moment. Taking the opportunity, Qin Feng lunged at the giant beetle.

He did not know how to fight but at this time, as if he was guided by some kind of mysterious energy, he leaned forward and swung the wooden spear.

After the giant beetle was startled for a second, but the next moment, its eyes suddenly turned bloodshot and it started to attack Qin Feng violently.

"Boom!"

Both Qin Feng's attack and the giant beetle's front leg collided with each other and with an explosive sound, both of them were forced to retreat dozens of steps.

Only now did Qin Feng noticed that this giant beetle was actually not much stronger than him. Its strength was also equivalent to an Elementary Battle Spirit Warrior, the same as him.

Seeing this, Qin Feng once again became excited. He did not know why he was feeling excited but he could feel that at this moment, he just wanted to fight and kill this giant beetle more than anything else.

Qin Feng fought head-to-head with the giant beetle for many rounds and lastly, he leaped up into the air by borrowing some rebound momentum. Then, he did a flip in the air, which resulted in his head facing down and legs facing the sky, and directly shot down toward the head of the giant beetle.

As if the giant beetle had sensed the danger, it raised its front legs to block the wooden spear of Qin Feng. Little did it realize that Qin Feng was only feigning his current attack.

He bounced back up again by borrowing the rebound momentum and smashed the wooden spear sideways, aiming straight for the red eyes of the giant beetle.

The giant beetle shrieked in fear as it tried to dodge, but Qin Feng refused to give it a chance. With a twist of his wrist, he caught the giant beetle's horn and pierced the wooden spear in one of its red eyes.

The giant beetle cried out in pain as one of its eyes was bleeding really badly. As though it was a lethal injury, the giant beetle lost its strength and rolled on the ground while shrieking in pain.

Taking advantage of the situation, Qin Feng aimed the wooden spear at the wound in its eyes and thrust it into the giant beetle's head without hesitation, ending the beetle's life.

"This guy was tough!" Qin Feng started to pant heavily after killing it. To fight against the giant beetle, he used up all of his strength except for his Battle Spirit.
