Emily stood there for a while, not wanting to go, until a warm hand touched her shoulders. She turned around to see Linda's mom. Her eyes brimming with tears, but her face showing a sweet smile and utmost satisfaction. Indeed she was proud of her daughter. Emily tried to cheer herself up and comforted Linda's mom, as they both walked out of the airport.

Emily lay in her bed, lost in thoughts. She soon realized that from tomorrow on wards, tests were starting, she didn't prepare anything, and to make matters worse, it was midnight. Sighing deeply, she didn't touch her books, instead, went to sleep.

Even in her dreams, she saw Linda and their last moments together. She missed her deeply. Tossing and turning all night, she had no idea how she finally managed to fall asleep.

Early in the morning, she woke up with her mind spinning. She was not in the mood to go today. Before she could even ask her mom about taking a day off, her mom barged into her room and removed the blankets, laying wrinkled on top off her. "Emily! Do you have any idea what time it is?!" She shrieked, holding her cellphone right in front of her face.

Oh no... It was almost eight o' clock!

Before anything could be processed in her brain, her legs already started moving. Rampaging throughout the house, she somehow managed to leave her house and reach her college. But unfortunately, the first period was half way through. She couldn't go in now, obviously. What a huge embarrassment it would be!

So, she quietly waited in the cafeteria, trying to resolve whether or not to bunk the first class. Trying to catch her breath. A voice came from behind her, "Bunking, aren't you? Didn't know you were such a girl." For an instant, she thought that she had been caught. But as she turned around, she saw Cyril. Alone, he leaned on his chair lazily, sipping on a soda, smirking. Emily narrowed her eyes and instead of answering, she interrogated, "Then what are ???????????? doing here?" Cyril shrugged and coolly replied, "Bunking."

"..."

Ohhhkay...? Looking at her confused expression, he snickered and got up, "Ah, yes! I almost forgot, your gift arrived early morning." Hearing those lovely words, her eyes shined as she held her breath, waiting for him so say something more. Cyril noticed these small reactions of her, which he felt were quite... Cute...

Out of nowhere, a person came and placed a big box in front of him, and held out out a piece of paper to be signed. He casually signed it and the person then disappeared into the buildings. "I was just waiting for him. Since you're here, I would not need to walk an extra mile to deliver it to you. Here!" He said as he pushed it front of Emily.

Her mind went through a roller coaster of emotions, as she started to unpack the massive box. The box itself was neatly packed with golden and silver shimmering wrapping sheet. The mesmerizing swirling patterns were pleasing to the eye. She did not want to unwrap it and just keep it safely as a decorating piece in her room. However, when she returned to reality, she had already removed the wrapping paper, and now she was staring at an elegant wooden case. The company's logo was gracefully imprinted on the center of the box.

The logo was a series of complex patterns. Looking closely she realized, a magnificent bow was covered with blooming flowers and butterflies. Everything about the package was enchanting, taking the onlooker's breath away.

"At this rate, I believe you will definitely open it by next year." Cyril scorned painfully. Emily snapped back to her senses and gently lifted the lid. The view inside was breathtaking. An enchanting bow was carefully placed on a green silk cloth. It was even prettier than what was shown online. Beside it lay a quiver and some arrows. Each and everything about the whole set was extraordinary. As if someone had grabbed it out of a fairy tale.

Emily covered her mouth with her hands. "This... I'm speechless!" She stammered. She leaned in and sniffed in the smell of the brand new item. Its soft fragrance tickled her nose. "It even smells amazing!" She exclaimed. "And expensive." Added Cyril, cracking up as her expression stiffened. "Don't remind me." She laughed guiltily. She gazed at the masterpiece for a long time, until Cyril mocked her for 'falling in love with a lifeless thing'.

"Of course anyone would fall in love, it's like pure gold!... And money. Eheh... But, what if... It breaks?" She asked worriedly. "It'd never!" Cyril claimed. "You could say it's the best in the world!" He flashed a toothy smile. "Come on let's give it a try!" He said joyfully as he grabbed her arm and dragged her to the field for a tryout.
