All of the students present started to groan and make their way towards te shed to grab some things they will be needing for making their dinner. Most of them had no idea how and what they would be making. Aiden asked Emily and Cyril, blushing from slight embarrassment, "Uhm... Does any one of you two know how to cook? Because... I've... Uh... Never entered the kitchen." Hearing his question Cyril also started rybbing his head awkwardly. "Ohhh... Uhh.. I..." Cyril stuttered, "I think I-uh know a thing or two..."
"Looks like I'll have to do most of the cooking." Emily smiled hopelessly. The two of them turned their heads towards her in optimism, "You know how to cook?!" They asked together. "Well... I'm not a that good but I think I'll be able to pull off something for tonight." Emily replied shrugging.
Aiden and Cyril hugged each other and started jumping. "YAY! We won't be starving tonight!" They cheered and laughed. Emily laughed, shaking her head as she walked towards the shed to get some ingredients for making the dinner.
Looking around the available ingredients, she realized there wasn't much of a variety. She was thinking of what to make when Ivy pushed her aside, randomly grabbed a few things and stormed off with a huff. Emily wanted to punch her right in her face but she controlled herself, there was a lot she had to do other than punching her.
Sighing, she started exploring the materials once again, thinking hard.
"What do you plan on making, Emily?" A girl beside her, who too, was looking around the ingredients, asked in her low, soft voice. She turned to look at the girl and realized it was her class fellow, Willow. "Oh, hey there, Willow." Emily smiled at her. "To be honest, I'm totally blank. I'm not an expert, so I really can't come up with anything that can be made whatever there is available here."
Willow smiled, her beautiful amber eyes forming an adorable crescent moon shape. "Don't worry, I and my friends would gladly help you." Emily's spirits lifted as she glanced towards Willow with a beaming face, "Really?!"
"Mhm!"
Emily jumped in joy as she helped Willow pick out some ingredients and make their way back to their campsite. "My friends are seated just diagnol to yours, it'll be easy to communicate." Willow said, heading over to Aiden and Cyril.
"Hey guys, this is Willow, our class fellow. She's kind enough to help us make out dinner tonight." Emily introduced them to Willow, who put down the things and waved at the two, smiling. "Nice to meet you, Aiden and Cyril!"
They both greeted back and started unpacking the materials they brought. Willow called her friends over and all of them started talking and preparing dinner. They went along quite well. It turned out that Willow and her friends were truly amazing at cooking and with their help, they all ate a scrumptious meal, made out of the limited ingredients.
"Ahhh... That was extremely tasty!" Aiden complimented, leaning back onto the log, patting his stomach. "I'm happy you like it!" Willow replied. "Like? We loved it!" Cyril exclaimed. Willow blushed as she and her friends thanked them for the compliments.
"Let's play some games before we go to sleep." Penny, one of Willow's friends, clapped her hands in excitement. "OKAY!" They all agreed.
"Let's first play, 'Twenty Questions'!" Willow stated. "I'll start by picking an object from the surrounding and you have to guess what it is by asking only twenty yes or no questions." Willow explained as she looked around. "Okay, I have chosen my object! Start asking questions!"
"Is is living?"
"Yup."
"Is it cute?"
"No!"
"Is it scary?"
"Nah."
"Does it know us?"
"Definitely."
"Do we know it?"
"Obviously."
"Do we like it?"
"Not at all!"
"Is it smart?"
"I don't think so."
"Oh! Oh! Oh! I think I know the answer!" Aiden shot his hand up as if they were in their class. Willow chortled, thinking what could he have thought of? "What is the answer then, Aiden?" She asked curiously.
"Our teacher, Miss Ellen!" Aiden said and started laughing wildly. Willow looked at him in shock. "Oh my goodness! How did you guess?!" She started asking. Hearing that he was right a roar of laughter erupted from their group. Lucious, another friend of Willow, started patting Aiden's back as he laughed, saying, "I could've never guessed that!"
After everyone had a turn with the game Penny proposed a new game called, 'name that tune'. In which a person had to hum a song and the others had to guess it. "I'll go over a few songs and see if you can guess them. I'll start easy." Penny said and started humming a soft melancholic tune. She hummed for a few seconds, then stopped to see if someone had guessed the answer.
"It seems like I've heard this song somewhere, but I'm totally unaware of the name. "Cyril said in a defeated manner. Damien, who was Willow's third friend, started waving his hands.
"Ahhh! I know this song! I just listened to it yesterday! It's 'Spring Day' by BTS!" He said in a victorious tune.
"Ahaha! Yesss! You are absolutely right. "Penny gave Damien, who was sitting on her right, a high five. "Ohh..." Cyril nodded his head. "Okay, next one!" Penny said and started to sing another gentle tune. Her lovely voice spread into the surrounding like an angel singing a song.
When she stopped, Emily had guessed the song and said, "This is 'Back To You' by Selena Gomez." "Yay! Exactly!" Penny exclaimed.
Playing a few more rounds, Damien came up with another game to play. "Let's play 'two truths and a lie'." He said with a smirk plastered on his face.
