"Okay Okay... So what is it going to take for you to forgive me this time? Ice Cream? Chocolates? .... A movie?" I question trying to lessen Tae's ire.
"Actually... How about you run through my lines with me" She says with way too much fimiliarity.
Giving her a knowing look, she faces back and her eyes seems to confirm my thought.
This PD, she promised the whole variety show would be almost unscripted, yet she keeps putting us into these cringy possitions!
Not that it hasn't worked.... The first episode, the date in Jeju has just aired and in a show made up of 3 celebrity couples, we got nearly an hour screen time.
Usually such practices would earn the fightback of keyboard warriors however that never game. Kim Tae is just that big a figure in Korea. If she ran for president, I'm 100% sure that she would win by a landslide.
Nevertheless where were we? Oh right- line reading.
"Sure... as soon as we wrap up, I'll meet you by your trailer?"
She smiles happily and off she goes with GM crew in tow.
Around an hour or so later, I am finally done with filming for the day. Completely satisfied with how this has scene came out.
Still in my wardrobe and make-up, I look like an abused body guard as I make my way to where Tae is on standby.
Freshening up... If you can call it that I dust off my blazer and attempt to look a little more presentable.
Knocking on her door, I wait paitently for 'my wife' too open.
Not too long thereafter, she opens the door inviting me in.
Too much of my sheer surprise there are not nearly as many camera's as I recall seeing earlier. In fact there are no other human operated camera's, just a few set up as in a voyear type filming.
"What's up, where did everyone go?" I can't help but ask
"I don't think a full crew can fit in this trailer Dylan. Let me help you get mic'd up"
I oblige and in seconds we are up and running
"So what's the scene, we are rehearsing Tae-ah?" I ask as I take a seat grabbing one of the scripts that are on the table.
"Uhmmm" She makes a low moaning side preceeding to sit down next to me, flicking her brunette hair to the side, exposing her slender and fair neck.
I bite my lip instinctively.
Tae really belonged to the kind of stunner whose slightest facial expression was charming.
Simple dresses could make her more attractive.
Wearing a lilac shirt and white leggings, just made her look even more polished and delicate, while naturally showing off her good figure.
While the scale of her breasts and buttocks was not spectacular, but they looked seductive and full in an inborn way. Furthermore, her waist and legs were slender.
Every time I see this little noble, she becomes more and more intoxicating.
"How about this scene" She says turning to me, catching me mid day dream.
Turning my head away, I focus on the task at hand and the pages infront of me, "Scene 26? Okay"
Clearing my throat I read begin to read, "Seung-hee, I'll go wherever you go."
Tae looks at my hand is holding her, sighs gently and blandly say, "Please just let me go, what's the point of this?"
"Why? Why?"
T.K - the character had many reasons to explain.
But what was the point?
Explanations and decisions are completely different.
Her tone is completely cold. "You want to know why? I don't like you, simple as that. The way you're acting right now only makes me think less of you, it doesn't change anything."
At this moment, my face turns completely pale and my eyes dimm down.
With empty eyes, I mumble, "Why are you being so cruel?"
She tries her best to keep her voice stable. "Just go. I don't think we should see each other anymore."
If they parted ways like this, they could only be enemies of each other when they saw each other again.
Enemies of life and death.
A knife seemed to be sticking into T.K's heart.
The sharp knife cut deeper and deeper in his heart, it cut his feelings into pieces.
"I waited for you for three years." I laugh in a self-mocking way. "Three years"
His love almost obsessive, like completely chaotic hatred.
"But I didn't expect such an ending after three years of persistence. Seung-hee, why are you so cruel? Don't you think this is a bit unfair?"
"At least you have your ending." She says with a voice sounding cold.
"But it's not the ending I want! This is what you want!"
She laughs in a self-mocking way, but didn't say anything.
This wasn't the ending they wanted.
But this was the best ending.
Before I read the next line, I realise what is upcoming, so I momentarily break character, "Tae should we stop here?"
"No, no continue" She says urging
"Are you sure?" I ask to which she nods her head
"Fine... After tonight we are enemies.... If you say that you feel nothing then this is it... This is us done"
Taking a moment to steel herself, those otherwordly deep brown eyes stare at me answering "From now on, we owe each other nothing."
Looked at her quietly.
She was so close to him, yet so far away.
Lowering my head suddenly, I kiss her.
Tae freezes, her movement serious and stiff before she wraps her arms around my neck tightly.
Her soft fragrance lingers.
As we not too long thereafter separate in silence
Looking toward me, still in character? she sees the man she truly fell in love with.
Tae holds onto me gently. As she slowly brings her mouth towards mine, nearly succombing to her temptation.
At that moment, almost instinctual, I push her off me and onto the sofa as the pages go flying.
A slight scream escapes from her mouth.
With her body now under mine, her face near my chest.
I see how her cheeks get a tint of red to it.
With a deep sigh, I try to compose myself and stop the blood flow rushing to my lower region.
"Noona. Let's stop here for today... before things get dangerous okay?"
She laughs, breaking out into a smile, like a blooming flower, looking extremely beautiful, "Un"
The scene inside the trailer romantic, ambiguous, and extremely sexy...
