Chapter 2：Eoran Calendar

I mentioned that I will gradually provide snippets that will help you get acquainted with the world of Eora (the Fantasy World that the story of the Last Primal plays in.) You may find some distant similarities to the Greyhawk Calendar, it was something we originally used in the past, and then changed it to fit our needs (like making it 12 months instead of 16 and standardizing the days etc.)

I will be providing more Auxiliary chapters as we go on, you can expect one that will cover Politics, Countries, and other important but super boring tidbits like the economy, and another incredibly massive chapters with an excerpt from the local legends and myths surrounding the area. I'm not sure if I will cut them to smaller bits, I'm still debating on that.

EORAN CALENDAR

The World of Eora has a few distinct similarities than how we measure time and date.

Let's go with the similarities first:

1 YEAR consists of a fixed 365 days without any leap days every X years.

1 WEEK consists of 7 days. The week starts with STARDAY, followed by SUNDAY, MOONDAY, GODSDAY, WATERDAY, EARTHDAY and finally the FREEDAY.

1 DAY has 24 HOURS in it.

1 YEAR has 12 MONTHS, these are from the first to the last with how long day are:

They might sound strange now, but these actually are the 12 gods that the residents of this world believe in and pray to.

The world of Eora has 2 Moons, LUNA and CELENE. They are the daughters of the Elven Goddes, the Mother of Nature Naone.

One last bit of information, but this will play more importance much later:

We are currently in Year 595 of the 'Serenity Era', or as Historians are referring to it, the 'Era of Peace'.
