Hecathe finally learned what it was like to be punched by a mecha-suit and the feeling was certainly not pleasant.
When Hecathe touched his cheek, he felt a sting of pain as the numbness slowly started to fade away and by the time that he had removed his hand, he could see blood covering his fingertips that had come in contact with his cheek.
"..."
The punch was strong enough to draw blood and that in itself was shocking to Hecathe who found it hard to believe that he was still alive after that punch.
Alphius surely had amazing regeneration abilities cause if not then Hecathe would have really entered the afterlife today.
"Sir, are you okay?" LeiLei asked as she gulped and looked at the man in worry.
Hecathe pushed himself off the ground as he stood up on his legs, but the mecha-suit was much faster than him.
Right after he had punched Hecathe, the mecha-suit stood up and looked down at Hecathe with a scowl.
"Brother, violence leads to nothing," Hecathe sighed as he wiped the blood off his face and smiled a little.
"Then let this lead you to death," The mecha-suit raised his fist as he came running towards Hecathe, threatening to throw another punch at the man.
This time, however, Hecathe was not unprepared and hence, he had enough time to defend himself.
He moved back just a step and tilted his body towards the right side as he avoided the punch before he grabbed the mecha suit's arm and twisted it. Since, the man's arm was protected by the metallic gears, Hecathe did no real damage by twisting it and so, he acted quickly on his thoughts and pulled the hand forward.
Hecathe stuck out his foot in front of the mecha-suit so that when he was pulled forward, he would trip and fall to the ground once again.
For the most part of it, It looked liked Hecathe was the one in control.
He didn't even need to use his abilities in order to fight the mecha-suit.
However, this winning only lasted for a short while.
There was a reason why mecha-suits were so famous and if they were this easy to beat then they would certainly not have such an infamous reputation attached to them.
The mecha suit was pulled forward, but unfortunately enough for Hecathe, he didn't trip and fall like what Hecathe had planned. Instead, the mecha suit took the chance to attack Hecathe as he spun and threw a back-kick at Hecathe.
Hecathe's eyes widened almost immediately as he saw the metallic leg coming towards him and at the very last second possible, Hecathe stepped back on instinct as he avoided the kick.
There was an adrenaline rush inside Hecathe's body which made him feel hot and his heart started beating a bit faster as cold sweat trailed down his forehead.
LeiLei and Marvin took a step back as they watched the fight and the two clearly looked as if they wanted to help Hecathe, but at the same time, it could also be sensed that although they wanted to help the man, they also dare not interrupt this fight.
Hecathe cursed under his breath as he saw another punch being thrown at him and this time, he was unable to avoid it since he didn't have a strong balance. His feet were unstable after avoiding that kick and it seemed that the mecha-suit had already guessed that something like this would happen and this was the reason why he used the opportunity within just a second.
Hecathe was thrown back by the punch and flew a few metres before hitting his back against a wall that instantly broke upon impact.
Hecathe's body fell down limply and the crumbled bricks from the wall started falling over him, but thankfully enough, LeiLei reacted soon enough and teleported all the bricks on top of the mecha-suit and the girl not only saved Hecathe by doing this but she also used the opportunity to attack the mecha-suit.
Since the helmet of the mecha-suit man had already been taken off, there was nothing protecting his head.
The mecha-suit felt the first piece of brick hitting his head and he immediately raised his hand to cover himself.
This was a great opening that could be used in order to attack the mecha-suit, however, Hecathe was also down at the moment so he couldn't take this chance.
Marvin chuckled dryly as he calmly walked over towards Hecathe and stretched his hand forward as if he was trying to help the man, "Brother Hecathe, do you need a hand? Two is always better than one."
Hecathe opened his eyes and lifted his head to look at the boy but he didn't readily take the hand that was stretched out to him.
Hecathe sighed as he touched his cheek and looked down at the blood that was coming out of the wound.
"Does he really have to damage this handsome face...?!" Hecathe gritted his teeth as he questioned in disbelief.
Marvin tilted his head as he heard this and felt a little amused but didn't bother saying anything to that.
"You attack from the back," Hecathe sighed as he spoke and grabbed Marvin's hand before being pulled up to his feet by the boy.
Marvin nodded his head as he beamed, "Got it!"
LeiLei chuckled for some reason as she saw this exchange between the two.
The mecha-suit was still defending himself against the falling bricks and debris, however, even running was not able to help the man since LeiLei could attack him even while he was moving.
Hecathe sighed as he stretched his body and neck before calmly walking towards the mecha-suit.
Marvin also didn't bother wasting time as he walked over towards the mecha-suit with his saber spinning in his hand.
The mecha-suit was too busy dealing with the falling bricks and so, it was only natural that he wasn't able to notice Hecathe and Marvin who had moved forward for an attack.
Hecathe was the one attacking from the front but Marvin was the one who raised his saber first and attacked the mecha-suit from the back.
The double-bladed sword pushed the mecha-suit forward and Hecathe smirked as he straightaway lifted his leg and kicked the mecha-suit's face. Since the head was the only part of the body that was vulnerable to an attack at the moment, Hecathe had no other choice but to attack the face.
The mecha-suit got his face kicked and almost broke his nose bridge. Blood started trailing down from his nostrils but Hecathe didn't look to care about it too much as he felt that this type of wound would be easy to heal.
The mecha-suit couldn't even open his eyes but this didn't stop him from blindly throwing a punch forward.
Hecathe tilted his head and avoided the punch by just a few inches while Marvin jumped up and struck down on the mecha-suit from behind.
If the blade hadn't been blocked by the mecha-suit then Marvin would have surely spilt the man up in two.
Hecathe let out a small soft chuckle as he saw Marvin and he couldn't help but complement the boy, "Good try."
Marvin clicked his tongue as he retreated a few steps before spinning his double-bladed sword around his body in a manner that looked as if it was purely for show while at the same time, it also provided a shield that was hard to get through without being minced.
The mecha-suit immediately tried to kick Marvin but he failed as Hecathe used this chance to elbow the mecha-suit under his cheek. Marvin was also not an easy target as he swung the sword vertically and tried to cut away the mecha-suit's leg.
LeiLei yawned as she saw this and couldn't help but feel a little sleepy as she commented, "It's taking you so long. Can't you just get it done quicker?"
Hecathe and Marvin pursed their lips into a thin line as they heard this but didn't bother responding to the girl.
They were fighting a mecha-suit... The fact that they weren't losing against him yet was already something amazing... How in the hell were they supposed to end this fight quicker...?!
LeiLei sat down on the ground with her legs criss-crossed over each other casually. She rested her chin against the palm of her right hand that was propelled up from her elbow that was on her knees.
Hecathe sighed as he threw an upper cut punch at the mecha-suit before following it up with a jumping round back kick that came without missing a beat.
At this point, the mecha-suit had his face completely red, with bruises clearly visible. and his blood painting a pathetic picture on his face.
Marvin also didn't bother wasting time as he attacked simultaneously with Hecathe. He swung his blade and tried to cut the mecha-suit into half but all he was able to do was confuse the mecha-suit and leave a few visible scratches on the metallic suit.
Breaking this mecha-suit was a challenge that was still just as impossible.
