He Wei finally managed to bring the man in the photo out of the ravine before the sky turned dark. She looked at his unkempt clothing in disgust and could not help but roll her eyes. “Do you remember what I taught you?”

“I’ll remember.” The man lowered his head timidly, his fingers fiddling with the hem of his clothes uneasily. Suddenly, he looked up and asked uneasily, “Will He Miao really be willing to see me?”

“If she doesn’t want to see you, won’t that just confirm her bad reputation of being fickle in love with the new and disliking the old?” He Wei sneered and said indifferently.

“What do you mean by ‘love the new and hate the old’?” The man was not well-educated. He only knew how to farm in the mountains every day, so he was always dirty. The man looked in the direction of her finger and realized that she was talking about a fair-skinned and beautiful woman. He shook his head and denied, “That’s not it. He Miao doesn’t look like that.”

“That’s the He Miao now. Aren’t you childhood sweethearts with her? Take a closer look!”

He Wei was so agitated just now that she subconsciously pushed the man beside her. At this moment, she picked up a tissue to wipe her hands in disgust. Seeing that he still could not believe it, she immediately said impatiently, “If you don’t believe me, you can get out of the car and take a look for yourself. Thinking of He Miao’s current change, Li Feng could not help but take out a precious photo from the inner lining of his cotton jacket. He held it in his hand and caressed her smiling face repeatedly. Even though she was not as pretty back then as she was now, she had always been the most beautiful girl in Li Feng’s heart.

“Can I take a look?” When He Wei saw that he was finally willing to take out the photo, she immediately suggested excitedly, “I want to see what my sister looked like when she was young.”

Li Feng was very happy to share these photos with others and handed them to He Wei without a second thought.
