As soon as Su Yaya was done with the call and closed her eyes to rest, her phone rang again in less than two minutes. She picked it up to look.

Ah! My good man. It was Yan Junyi calling.

The two of them haven’t seen each other since that advertising shoot last time. And, after rejecting him like that, Yan Junyi was very sad back then. She thought that he would accept her relationship with Chen Xiuqi just like that and disappear in front of her with no intention to appear ever again, but unexpectedly, he actually called her. Her voice was crisp and pleasing and it could make a person feel relaxed. Yan Junyi pursed his lips. When he saw news of Su Yaya’s injury on the internet, he felt like there were countless things he wanted to say to her. But when he called and heard her carefree tone, all the words hidden in his heart could not come out, almost as if he had no other requests as long as she was fine.

“Then, take a good rest. I’ll come see you another time,” Yan Junyi said.

Su Yaya froze. Him? coming to see her? There were so many reporters outside the hospital, was he trying to give out a story to them?

Thinking about this, Su Yaya shuddered. She quickly said, “No need, just the thought is good enough. It’s not convenient for you to come since there are a lot of people watching me right now. It would be bad if someone takes a picture of you coming, right? Hahahaha!”

When he heard her say that, Yan Junyi was silent on the other end for a moment. Then, he said, “Alright then. Let’s talk again next time.”

“Okay,” Su Yaya answered quickly without any hesitation.

“Alright. I’m hanging up now.” Yan Junyi’s voice sounded a little reluctant.

But Su Yaya didn’t catch that at all. Cheerfully, she said, “Okay bye bye, talk to you next time.” After that, she hung up.

Yan Junyi stared at the phone that he was hung up on and was silent for a long time. Nobody knew what he was thinking.
